    Those undelivered letters, the way they slowly progressed, the fact that Asriel to tell her what she meant to him... my heart < / 3

    I wasn't expecting to see Dess break out by her own sheer determination, but I'm completely on board - Kick his ass Dess! I can't wait to see where this leads, the phone call has me on the edge of my seat!

      Thank you! I went through a couple drafts of this chapter but the letter idea came last. Glad it worked!
      Also, I was trying to portray Dess as very strong herself, unlike how I feel many people depict her as needing saving. Not how I see it. Thank you for the kind words!
