Gosh, I dont know where to start, you sure are a master at your craft my friend.
Kageyama being all soft when Takeru call him a friend was fluff with a undertone of angst. Oikawa making the choice to finally approach them after seeing them become friendly….only to get absorbed with Kageyama without knowing it.
Those two alone in the same futon was just…wow. Kageyama excitement at knowing Oikawa doesn’t hate him, making him jump on him. Then, Oikawa turning the table, his words not matching the mood at all. Cruelty in his seduction….ah, then the angst came back with a vengeance.
Following this is Oikawa realization of his own feelings and the confession. I think I died at the part where Kageyama admit his obsession with him openly, genuinely not understanding why someone wouldn’t.
Kageyama honestly juxtaposed with Oikawa deceptive nature, Kageyama confidence and his way of facing his loneliness head on vs Oikawa who is self conscious and secretly need reassurance.
All those scenes evoking different feelings, all written so smoothly it all end up fitting in one chapter. Really amazing work, making my heart go soft.
