Ahhhhh I love this!! So much beautiful imagery, "A man of stone", "How could I trust that the spark striking against your gravel voice". I really really love the image of Madi as a calm, competent warrior at the end; it makes me imagine her like an Athena. Thank you for writing and sharing this!
Oh I like imagining her as an Athena! Flint is very mythological to me and so is Madi. And thank you for the comment about the stone imagery. I saw Flint as rocklike at the beginning of s3 and then transformed by the shark date and by Maroon Island.
