I absolutely LOVED IT! You smash, girl, you smash and rock! I enjoyed every single letter of it <3 <3 <3
About lifting the spirit - Faramir actually recognized him before he even opened his eyes in the Houses of Healing, how cool is that? Those were meant to be together! <3
And YES to the healing process! I love to think that, when Boromir appears, like you've said, because it's inevitable, he serves to heal them both, even while not there anymore. And you captured that perfectly <3
I can't thank you enough for your lovely comments!! They make me so incredibly happy <3
And yes! I think the fact that Aragorn used much of his energy trying to save Faramir, bringing him back from that dark place he had fallen into, also helped to connect them in some way. The way Aragorn called for him in that darkness and Faramir came to him... It was something so intimate and powerful between them. And of course Faramir would recognise him even before he opened his eyes. They really were destined to be together!
And I LOVE the idea of Boromir always being present in their lives. Not only to heal them but also to give them strength in difficult times, or to cheer them up when they remember memories about him. Boromir would always be alive through them <3
