Just wanted to leave a comment here to thank you! There are just times a canon just... disappoints in ways that kind of leave you needing something. Like closure, maybe? TG has been that to me, where I saw good things in it just... disappointingly used.
I needed to see someone take those pieces and show there was something worth it in there. Worth the time and enthusiasm I’d given it. This is what that fic was to me (and probably to you, I’d guess).
This isn’t meant as encouragement to finish, I’d be happy either way and I completely understand not finishing it. Hell, at this point I’d actively say leave this as is if it’s causing you grief in any way or even if you’re just bored of it!
Just wanted to say thank you for the well written closure. Was very nice.
(Oh! And if you liked the themes, the psychological beats, found family, and Us vs them plot elements I’d highly recommend watching the tv show Legion. I realized as I was rewatching it that it had all the things I like in TG... but yknow. Done well. :) give it a go if you’re interested!)
