Right! Hange seems so open, that you would guess she knows herself and her feelings well, but to me it feels like she arrives at her feelings much too late. In the forest, when she says it out loud, it's not so much her actually asking him and hoping he'll say yes- because it would destroy them both if he did, as much as it's hear finally saying aloud something she's carried for so long. That's why I think Levi brings it up at all! She was already building the cart to get them out of the forest, so I believe that he was trying to acknowledge what she said in his own clumsy way. <3
