Summary
Harry struggled to yank the camera out of his backpack without dragging out everything else too. With a grunt, Harry emerged victorious, cheering as he turned it on and pointed it out the window. He could see his reflection in the window, and waved to the camera with a cheeky smile before turning it off again. Louis kept the conversation going, starting with a discussion on their families, and moving on to food, music and finally Harry’s trip. After half an hour of chatter, Louis forwent his window seat in favour of the seat beside Harry. At this close distance Louis couldn’t really stare at Harry’s lips without being caught, and so he made an actual effort to look into Harry’s eyes. Harry was having exactly the same problem. He was losing his train of thought while staring into Louis’ eyes, and he had to keep pinching himself to remind himself to look away.
Before they even realised, three hours had passed and the Eurostar was pulling into Paris.
Or, the one where Harry is assigned to walk from Paris, France to Bilbao, Spain as a documentary project. He meets Louis on the way and when Louis asks to tag along, Harry knows it's fate.

Summary
The prompt I based this on was: "Louis, Niall, and Liam are three friends looking for a summer job before they head off to university. Their extraneous efforts and lack of motivation lead them to a world famous traveling carnival staying in town for 3 months. Louis works in a shitty game booth, Liam cleans up the elephant poop, and Niall is supposed to be working the ticket booth but honestly he just does whatever the fuck he wants. All is well until they meet Harry (a palm reading, dream analyzing, plant whisperer) and Zayn (“the hot bloke in the genie costume that does shows with the elephants”). Fortune telling, cleaning up elephant shit, and romance ensues."
Honestly, that pretty much sums it up.“Hi guys,” Curly said. “I’m-”
“Hanzi the All-Knowing,” Niall said.
“Harry,” Curly said.
“Hot,” Louis said. There was a momentary pause, and everyone looked at him. Oops. -

Summary
Somehow their pinky fingers wind up taut around each others, tears mixing with hushed promises that, one day, they’d make it out of here and they’d each have ten kids and they’d each marry a beautiful wife (“Not in that order, I hope,” Louis jokes). Harry realizes that that’s kind of the point, isn’t it. That he doesn’t need to know where they came from or what they’ll do next: only where they are going. Where they are headed. So he locks fingers with all of them again and they fall asleep like that, underneath the stars, coyotes howling at the ghosts of their dreams that hover above their heads as they slumber, glistening sparks of passion dissipating into the night.

An historical AU set in the 1860s, during the American Civil War. Featuring Harry as a medic student, Louis as a drifter, Zayn as a god among mortals, Liam as a tutor and Niall as a milkman.

Summary

He wants to be a movie star, make money to keep his family comfortable just like his mother had told him his father had. But when he makes it to Chicago, he finds that people aren’t what they seem. The parties are grand, the women charming, and the money rolls. What he doesn’t understand is that behind that beautiful mask of a city there is something lurking in the shadows.

“Mind control,” Louis finished.
“Exactly. Could be worth checking out.”
Louis looked at Liam and Niall, both of whom looked eager to meet the man.
“OK,” Louis said. “Where can we find him?”
