Summary
Every ten years, six of the best medeians the world has to offer disappear, only to return two years later and leave an undeniable mark on the pages of history.
These six medeians are recruited for the Alexandrian Society, who describe themselves as caretakers of knowledge older than themselves. The six who enter are sure to leave with connections and power aplenty, but what is too good to be true usually is.
An empath who cares naught for feelings, a mind reader too eager for secrets, a physicist who can set the world on fire, and another to shake it to its core, an illusionist who can see through lies and a herbalist who can control life itself are the latest of the chosen Six. Five of them will live past the end of the year.
One won't.
