Aether got woken up by a knock on his door next morning. Still sleepy, he got up and opened the door, there stood Kazuha with a warm cup of green tea in his hand.
''Here, i hope you like tea,'' he said while handing him the cup, ''i'm making breakfast, if you want some just come to the kitchen when you're ready'' he smiles warmly.
Aether nodded in response, unable to verbally reply at the moment. Kazuha closed his door, letting him wake up completely and get ready for their first day.
The blonde walked to his nightstand, sat down oh his bed and started brushing his long hair,detangling any big noticeable knots before braiding it tightly. Aether then dressed up, putting on a simple fit: a black t-shirt with a hoodie of a slightly lighter tone on top paired with black jeans. He took the time to drink some of the now lokewarm tea Kazuha had brought him.
Aether walked out of his room and to the living room. He saw Scaramouche sitting on the couch, phone in hand, Heizou chatting with Kazuha while he was making breakfast. The blonde looked up and smiled at him.
He sat down next to Heizou who just kept rambling about a certain show he was watching, totally ignoring his presence, Kazuha occasionally humming in agreement to wathever the green eyes boy next to Aether was telling him.
The long haired blonde was just there, listening to them, too tired to say anything yet. After a few minutes of this, the boy who was cooking put a plate with buttered toasts and eggs in front of both Heizou and Aether before putting one with similar contents of food on the table in front of Scaramouche, this one recieved a kiss on the forehead,
''Don't force yourself but try to eat as much as you can, ok, love?''
All Kazuha got as an answer was a grunt from a now blushing Scara. Kazuha walked back to the counter with a huge smile plastered on his face. By the time Xiao came out of his room, all of them had finished eating, Aether and Heizou were talking about what teachers to not piss off and to avoid as much as possible and Scara and Kazuha both sitting on the couch checking if they had the same schedule.
Xiao walked to the kitchen, hair messy and clearly unbrushed. Aether looked up and greeted him with a warm smile.
''Good morning Xiao!''
''Hm, 'morning...'' He replied before putting two slices of bread in the toaster and leaned against the counter, took out his phone to have something to do in the meantime.
Aether went back to talking with the boy next to him. Xiao then put his toasts on a plate and spread butter on both before eating them, taking small bites quickly as if he was in a rush. Kazuha got up slowly and declared that their first 'class' was going to start soon before walking to his room to change clothes. Scara did the same followed by Heizou who's hair was even messier than Xiao's.
The word class wouldn't really suit what they were going to do. Their whole morning consisted in choosing their club, get familiar with the other members and start their first project, and the afternoon was free, they could stay at their club or leave to do wathever they wanted.
A few moments later, the three boys that left earlier came back as soon as the bell rang, Aether who was ready first, glanced at Xiao.'His hair is so messy, how can it not bother him?' he thought. Well, at least he was already dressed, seeming to wear the same sort of clothes as the previous day.
They stepped out and walked to where they were going to choose their club with their art teacher, Kyryll Chudomirovich Flins. Luckily, his classroom was on the same floor as their dorm so the group just had to walk a little until they reached it. The boys could already hear lively chatting when they got in.
Xiao walked in first and quickly got to the back. He got followed by Kauzha and Scaramouche who sat down as a pair and Heizou chose a seat next to a short pink haired girl wich left Aether to sit next to Xiao in the back. Soon after everyone took a seat, a very tall man with long blue hair wearing a black turtleneck hoodie paired with pants the same color. The students stopped talking gradually when they saw him walk in, a pile of papers in hand.
''Greetings, my name is Kyryll Chudomirovich Flins but you can adress me as Mr.Flins. I hope we are going to get along well. This class all you will have to do is choose a club to be part of, it is not obligated but i highly suggest it because you will spend all day with your club and it would be quite boring to do nothing in my opinion.'' Flins said as he handed out a sheet of paper for each student.
When he finished, he came back to the front of the class. ''I'll leave you some time to look at your options and chat with your friends, yes, you will also be able to change places.'' He said, looking at Heizou who was about to raise his hand with a smile.
''Well then, in, let's say 20 minutes, you will all be able to find the class the club you chose got assigned to. If you need any help just come find me, I will be staying here in the morning.'' He finished, now allowing the students to look at their options and consult their friends
As soon as people started pairing up, the girl that was next to Heizou walked up to the teacher and started talking to him. Aether looked at the sheet he got given.
Sports club: Monday-Thursday from 16:00 to 17:00 in the gym
Occult club: Tuesday-Thursday from 16:00 to 18:30 room 234-B
Music club: Friday from 16:00 to 18:30 room 234-A
Drama club: Wednesday from 16:00 to 18:00 in the auditarium
Literature club: Monday-Thursday from 16:00 to 18:00 in the library
Art club: Monday-Wednesday-Friday from 16:00 to 18:00 room 125
Cooking club: Thursday from 16:00 to 19:00 room 106
Dance club: Sunday-Saturday-Tuesday from 17:00 to 18:00 room 005
The first thing that cought Aether's eye was the cooking club. He always liked cooking and spent most of the days he was bored trying out new reciepes. He was also the one whocooked for both himself and Lumine. Whenever she tried to cook she almost burnt their house down.(Wich, by a miracle, didn't happen when she made pancakes).
The blonde didn't really have anyone to talk to or ask what they were gonna do without being akward since Lumine was not in his class so he was planning on getting out his phone and asking her through text but he got stopped by Xiao who spoke up.
''Do you have interest in any of them?''
Taken off guard, Aether took quite a while to process what the question was so he answered the moment Xiao was going to repeat it. ''Yes, I'm planning on signing up for the cooking club, what about you Xiao?''
The boy shook his head, ''no, i have no interest in any of those.''
Then, Heizou turned to look at them. ''What are you guys gonna do? Personally im interested in the occult club, didn't know we had one, must be knew.'' He looked at Aether.
''I'm gonna try the cooking club.'' Heizou nodded then looked at Xiao.
''I'm guessing you won't join any like last year?'' At wich he nodded, ''you are correct.''
''Why do you want to join the accult club Heizou?''
''For the mistery, if it's occult i'm sure there's gonna be investigating and mysteries to solve! That's right up my alley.''
They heard Flins speak up,''the time you had in class is over and just before you leave i would like to specify that you can, at any time go to try out another club if you do not like your current one and in the afternoon you can go with your friends at their club and try them. You also have the possibility to be part of multiple clubs. You can now go find the room your club was assigned to.'' He sat down at his desk, letting the students leave.
Aether got up and looked at the location he had to get to. Room 106, 'it must be on the first floor based off my last school, I'll ask Heizou just in case...' He turned to ask him but he was already gone like most of the students.
The blonde was relieved to see Kazuha still there and approached him, ''excuse me, could you tell me how the number of the classes work here?''
''Ah yes, of course. I'll give you and example, this classroom's number starts with 2 wich means it's on the second floor. 1 is for the first floor, do you get it now?'' Aether nodded, so it was in fact like his previous school. He thanked Kazuha briefly and walked down the stairs to the first floor. He walked around for a lot of time until he finally found room 106.
When he walked in he saw another londe guy with slightly shorter hair than his that was tied in a low ponytail. He was wearing an open red jacket and the rest of his clothes were black. He had the same green eyes as Heizou.
Next to him was a girl with light blue hair in a high ponytail and long bangs and crystal blue eyes. She was wearing a hoodie the same color as her hair and a white skirt. In the back, sitting on one of the counters was Scara and Kazuha who was standing next to the counter his boyfriend was sitting on, a hand on his tigh, the other holding his phone, showing the indigo haired man stuff on it from time to time.
Another girl that was wearing a black and yellow sleeveless dress and her dark blue hair was made in two loop braids tied off by a red ribbon was conversing with the blonde guy and the blue haired girl.
When they heard the first bell ring, the green eyes boy clapped in his hands twice to get everyone's attention. ''Alright, how about we make a circle and introduce ourselves? We can say out name, pronouns and something we like. I'm Thoma by the way.''
Scara groaned but Kauzha offered him his hand wich he took and got off the counter to complete the circle they had already made with his lover. ''Ok, I'll start first'' Thoma said, ''I'm Thoma, my pronouns are he/him and i like dogs and playing the guitar.''
The girl in the black and yellow dress spoke up next, ''I'm Xiangling, she/her and i love cooking!'' She sad happily before letting the blue haired girl talk next.
''My name is Ayaka, she/her and i like dancing.'' Then Kauzha and Scaramouche did the same, saying they liked each other and their threesome. Ans last was Aether who said he loved his sister. Before long, all of them started sharing techniques on how to do some things better in cooking, personal anecdotes and more.
Apparently they spent two hours talking because the bell to lunch break rang. Thoma waved them off first the nthey all left to go eat. Aether went to the cafeteria, glad he didn't forget his wallet. He was surprised to see a girl with long orange hair looking about the same as him cooking there. He wasn't aware that they hired students.
He got Delicious Matsutake Meat Rolls and met up with his dorm mates. As usual, Kauzha and Scara were awfully close, the indigo haired one sitting on the other's lap and Aether assumed they had already finished eating while he was done with his meal.
''Do you plan on going to any other clubs Aether?'' Heizou said who was sitting next to the lovers, Kazuha's hand in his. The blonde shook his head.
''Well,'' he continued, ''I'm planning to go to the Drama club, wanna come with?''
''Yeah, sure. Mister Flins was right when he said it would be boring to do nothing of out day.''
And so they went to the auditorium, it was very easy considering the size of the entrance. Two doors led inside to where there was a wooden scene and tons of seat in a huge place. In the back was the control room for the lighting, speakers, music, ect...
Aether, Heizou, Kauzha and Scara (who got dragged along with Kazuha by Heizou) were greeted by a grey haired guy with a braid on the left side and a twink with black hair and two turquo braids on both sides of his face. The gray haired one was yelling and running around after the twink, trying to get something back.
