“‘m fine hyung just tired I promise” Donghyeon said trying to convince Amaru that he didn’t need to regress “I was just in the mood earlier I dunno what it was but I don’t feel small anymore” Hyeon said while sitting up on his bed to make eye contact with his hyung.
“hyeonnie are you sure?” Amaru was frankly unconvinced to the max he was sure that donghyeonnie was still somewhat in his headspace since it’s been around two months since Hyeon regressed and he needed it now more than ever since they had just finished promotions for a collab with lotte and got the rest of the week off.
“Maru, if you don’t believe me just stop asking me if I feel small because I don’t.” Donghyeon snapped at his caregiver although not quite meaning it since deep in his head he could feel the fuzzy cotton feeling seeping in but he couldn’t say it to Amaru after trying to argue with him that he didn’t need to regress.
“I’m taking a nap okay? just get kyehoon hyung to wake me before they order food” Donghyeon said before turning his back towards Amaru “okay hyeonnie I’ll let you rest love you sleep well baby” Amaru said as he headed towards the door and walked out.

Donghyeon woke up with the worst headache ever and quite frankly he just wanted to take some medicine and cuddle with his Maru hyung. No Donghyeon thought he didn’t need Amaru to feel better he just need to take a pain medicine and go back to sleep by himself
‘Maybe if I sent hyung a text he’ll come into my room’ he wondered then realized the reason Maru wasn’t in the room right now was because he had told him to go away.
Suddenly he felt extremely sad and just decided to go back to sleep despite the pain that raged through his head and the fuzzy feeling that he felt.

“how’s the bunny doing maru?” Kyehoon asked while they were coming back from the gym although Amaru only really goes to gossip with Kyehoon “I’m honestly a bit worried about him Gyehoon he just never wants to regress or be coddled by me anymore” Amaru expressed pulling at the threads of his gym shirt
Kyehoon sighed knowing exactly what Maru meant since he and the rest of the members had noticed Donghyeon acting strange lately “maybe he’s just stressed, you know he’s been working on a lot with the songwriters” Kyehoon tried to reassure him since he’s not entirely wrong about Hyeon's work load lately.
“I guess you’re right I’ll see if he wants to be small later tonight but if he doesn’t there isn’t much I can do other than get him to come down involuntarily” Amaru stressed he hated the idea of having to coax Donghyeon into his head space but it might have to happen later one way or another.
As they opened the door to the group's shared dorm Amaru heard quiet sniffing since the dorm was completely empty aside from a napping keiju that’ll probably wake up feeling small too.
Amaru went to Donghyeon door and opened it to see his poor baby sobbing his heart out with a blanket wrapped around his back
“Bunny baby what happened?”
