When Steve and Eddie woke up in the morning, the first thing they did was shower, which was hard to do because of Steve's phase. Sure, Eddie had gone through his own phases but Steve was a healthy twenty year old alpha so he obviously dealt with phases a little harder than Eddie. Eddie kept having to smach Steve's hands away and the only thing that seemed to keep the alpha happy was kissing and marking Eddie.
Eddie knew he should have seen it coming but when Steve came back with his own clothes for Eddie to wear, the omega had rolled his eyes so hard and simply put on the extra large clothes. Steve had always been a bit stockier and taller than him. That's how Eddie found himself making breakfast for the both of them while the alpha cleaned the sheets. It was late in the morning and Eddie was pretty sure that it actually counted for the afternoon at this point.
Steve didn't seem to care about the food choices though because soon he was wrapped around Eddie like a snake and the alpha simply hung on to him as he cooked eggs and sausage for them. He even put some toast able bagels in the toaster for them. "Really shaping up to be a housewife Eds." Steve's morning voice was deep and Eddie couldn't but shiver from the sound of it.
"Shut up, we know you would actually be the housewife Harrington. I'm just doing this so we don't pass out before we have fun again." Eddie smirked as he flipped the eggs and he pushed Steve off so he could get the alpha to go grab them plates.
After the two had eaten breakfast/lunch and drank a lot of water, Steve had pulled Eddie back upstairs so they could try some more things out. Eddie didn't know how long they went but one minute Steve was starting to travel down to his thighs again and the next Eddie was passing out after his second orgasm.
Maybe that's why when Eddie woke up he was so disoriented, the omega had been expecting for Steve to still be next to him and Eddie was confused until he heard some noise coming from downstairs, Eddie rubbed at his eyes and he pulled on a pair of shorts before he started to head down the stairs.
He was about to call out for Steve but now that he was closer to the ground floor, he heard growls and shouting? Eddie raced down the stairs and his eyes went wide when he saw Steve being pressed into the ground by a bigger alpha. Steve was snarling and trying to fight against the alpha but nothing seemed to be working.
Eddie knew it was stupid, but fuck it, one minute he was by the staircase and the next he was pulling back and punching the alpha as hard as he could, he slammed into the alpha and he bared his teeth are him. "Fucking leave him alone!" Eddie's voice cracked and he finally recognized who the alpha was.
Standing in Steve Harrington's house was Ex-Police Chief, Jim Hopper. Eddie felt his blood run cold and he stood over Steve while holding out his fists, a beta and omega emerged from the front room and Eddie glared at all of them. He looked back down at Steve and his eyes went wide when he saw his alpha.
"Steve! Fuck! Shit, it's gonna be okay baby. I'm here. It's all gonna be okay Stevie." Eddie leaned down to look at his alpha and Steve had a bloody nose and some bruises on his chest. His alpha looked kind of out of it and Eddie pulled him in close. He looked back up at the trio and he couldn't help but start to growl.
The omega woman held up her hands and she pulled Hopper away as Eddie started to fuss over his injuries, Steve attempted to stand up and Eddie whined and almost made him sit back down if it wasn't for Steve's stubbornness. Steve looked over at the trio and tilted his head.
"What the hell Hop? Did you have to hit so hard man?" Steve whined and he wiped away some of the blood leaking down his face. Eddie looked at Steve like he was insane and he grabbed the alpha by his shoulders.
"Stevie, baby, no offense, but the Ex-Police Chief came into your house and beat the shit out of you, a random omega and beta are here, and you ask him why he hit so hard? Did he fucking give you a concussion?" Eddie looked back over at Hopper again and if looks could kill, Hopper would be dead fifty times over.
Steve looked back at Eddie confused and his eyes went wide. The alpha pulled the omega into a hug and he gently shook his head. "Shit, I knew I forgot something, uh, Eddie that's Hopper, Joyce, and Murray. Their in my pack, Joyce is Will's mom and Hopper is Jane's dad. Murray is kind of like a fun uncle, I have no idea why they're here though." Steve looked back over at the trio and Hopper sighed and rubbed at his eyes.
"We got a call from Dustin in the morning about how Eddie called him last night. We didn't think anything about it until Mayfield noticed Eddie's van wasn't in his driveway. She brought it up around the kids earlier and they all started to freak out. They were worried that something happened while Eddie was over here, so we came to check it out and I...got a bit too angry." Eddie continued to glare as Hopper explained and Joyce nodded and looked at Eddie with a frown.
"We really didn't mean to cause all this trouble, Hopper just smelled everything and he let his emotions get the best of him, really Steve, we should have known better, let me fix up your face." Joyce took a step forward and Eddie immediately moved in front of Steve again.
The omega crossed his arms and he pushed Steve back a bit. "That's very nice to offer, but Steve's still in a phase and I'm not in the best emotional state after seeing my boyfriend get held down by a bigger alpha, so, no thanks. I can bandage him up." Eddie puffed out his chest and he knew that he was being an asshole but god was he fucking pissed.
Joyce nodded and she looked back at the two of them with a small smile. "If you don't mind me asking, how long have you two been dating? Steve hasn't mentioned anything to us." Steve blushed and he leaned against Eddie with a smile.
"We've been together for a couple of months, wanted to keep it on the down low for a bit, but uh, we've been through the courting stage and the phase stage now, so we're uh, committed to one another." Steve let out a pleased rumble and Eddie let himself relax and calm down a little.
The trio looked somewhat surprised and Hopper frowned and looked at Steve. "Well, it's going to be hard explaining this to the pack when we go back. They're gonna want to know what happened. Would you be okay, if we had a meeting, once your phase is over. Where we can explain everything." Eddie went back to glaring at Hopper and Steve nodded and looked at his boyfriend.
"Yeah, we've been meaning to let everyone know so a meeting would be good. We can probably set that up Monday night. I should probably head back to my room. Everything is kind of hitting me again." Steve wobbled a bit and Eddie pulled his boyfriend closer so he had support.
"We'll get out of your hair kid. Sorry again for all this. Nice to meet you... Eddie?" The beta had finally spoken up and Eddie couldn't help but laugh at how funny his sentence was, if Eddie wasn't so pissed, he would actually talk with Steve's pack more. But instead he let the trio leave as quickly as they could and he helped Steve back up the stairs.
Eddie eventually got Steve back into bed and he looked around the bathroom for five minutes trying to find a first aid kit. Finally, he went back to Steve's bed and he started to bandage the alpha. Eddie was silent as he worked and Steve seemed awkward and antsy.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean for this to happen. Hopper was just trying to look out for you and I reacted badly and everything just went to shit. I'm sorry that you're upset though." Eddie's eyes snapped up to Steve's and the omega was already wrapping his arms around the alpha's neck.
"Shut up Stevie, I'm not mad at you, I'm pissed at them, pissed at the pups for some reason, pissed at myself. I'm pissed that you're hurt. You aren't supposed to be fucking hurt." Eddie whined and he looked up at Steve with teary eyes. His poor alpha.
"It's not as bad as it looks, really Eds. And don't be pissed at them. They were all just trying to help." Steve leaned down onto the bed and he pulled the omega on top of him. Eddie let out a reluctant sigh and he stared at Steve.
"You're too fucking nice Steve. God. Well. At least we can look forward to letting your entire pack know we're together. And I guess I'm going to have to bring an apology gift so Hopper doesn't hate me." Eddie rubbed at his eyes and Steve snorted and kissed Eddie's forehead.
"It'll all be fine. And no offense but we are totally not getting them an apology gift. We can just call it even. Eye for an eye and all that. I'm not looking forward to Robin or Henderson yelling at me though." Eddie let out a cackle and he shook his head fondly.
"They are all gonna be menaces. God. I had to get attached to those little gremlins didn't I?" Eddie pulled a blanket back over them and Steve smiled and yawned.
"Yeah but at least you got something good for it. You got me. And a big pack." Steve's voice faltered off in the end and the alpha was clearly falling asleep but that didn't stop Eddie from stealing one last kiss.
"Yeah, you're right. Wouldn't trade meeting you all for anything in the world." Eddie let himself close his eyes and Steve had wrapped his arms around Eddie's waist again. As the two drifted off to sleep. They both knew that Monday night was going to be chaotic, but hopefully, it would also be a night where Eddie was welcomed into the pack.
