Ron, we’re not in Pre-K anymore. Maybe it’s time to grow up. With that, Kim left to go on her date with her boyfriend. Ron, with tears in his eyes, watched them leave because he knew things were changing and this could be the beginning of the end of their friendship. As much as it pained him, Kim was right; it was time to grow up, and he knew exactly what to do. He picked up his phone and made a call, “Hey Jerry, I was wondering if that job offer was still on the table “
After getting Whooped unceremoniously and without warning, our 3 girls find themselves in Jerry's office. “ Jerry, let’s get over with it what’s the mission? There are these really cute pair of heels that go on sale in the mall later today “ Clover says as she checks her watch. Yeah, I got a mathletes meeting as well replied Sam, and I got a football game in the evening said Alex. No Mission this time, girls. I called you here to introduce you to a new member of your team, the older man replied. “New Team Member “ Clover and Sam replied excitedly, while Alex replied a bit anxiously, fearing another Brittany situation on her hands.
You girls, remember Kim Possible and her partner Ron Stoppable, on a joint mission a while ago. Yeah, she is insanely talented and has a real future in the spy business, and even Ron- I don’t know how that guy does it; he somehow always manages to bumble his way into getting the job done every single time. He’s got a lot of untapped potential replied Clover. Yeah, with a bit of training and the right mindset, he can be just as good as Kim, replied Sam, Ditto to that said Alex. Well, I'm glad you girls feel that way because he is the new member Jerry said as he pushed a button that brought Ron into the room.
The girls had grown quite fond of Ron and were slowly developing a soft spot for him over the course of their joint missions. His laid-back and childlike wonder attitude was so refreshing and a huge breath of fresh air for the otherwise uptight and by-the-book spy business, and his “Never me normal “ way of dealing with things never failed to bring a smile on the girl's faces.
Sam liked Ron because his laid-back, carefree attitude was so infectious and was something a high-strung, stressed-out overachiever, Type A personality like herself sorely needed in her life.
Clover liked Ron because he was the only one who could match her chaos, not only in mission but in normal everyday life. She loved his goofy and adorable attitude. His motto of “Never be Normal “always ensured that there was never a dull moment whenever Ron was around.
Alex liked Ron because there was something about him that she found so endearing; he was so kind and always saw the best in people and went out of his way to help people. An animal lover like herself, loved how he was with Rufus, even though he was his pet, he never treated him as such. Rufus was more like a brother to Ron than a pet.
The girls cheerily greeted Ron as they all missed his goofy, childlike wonder attitude and his naked mole rat. So, you and Kim are joining WOOHP. Well, the missions just got a bit more fun Sam said. No, just me Kim's is busy with her regular life, and I am just here on a part-time basis replied Ron. Clover looked at him suspiciously, knowing something was up because the pair was inseparable. The bond between Kim and Ron was the strongest she had ever seen, and she secretly wished she had something like that as well. But her suspicions were something she needed to keep to herself for now, but it was something she would come back to later. Yay, this is going to be so fun, said Sam as she hugged Ron right arm and I get to play with Rufus replied Alex who hugged his left arm, who had a soft spot for the naked mole rat.
After a gruelling shopping excursion at the Beverly Hills malls, which the girls subjected Ron to, as no friend of theirs will be a walking fashion disaster. Ron treated the girls to lunch at the food court as a thank you for their help. Clover took that as an opportunity to find out what’s up with Ron
So, Ron tell me why you decided to work part-time at WOOHP without Kim asked Clover. I saw the video of you wigging out at the Bueno Nacho she says softly, something tells me there is more going on here, and there is something that is really bothering you, and the whole thing with Bueno Nacho was the last straw that caused the whole meltdown. Ron knew how perceptive and smart Clover was, but didn’t think she would figure it out this quickly. Sam placed her hand on Ron's reassuringly and gave it a gentle squeeze “ Ron, is everything alright? We are here for you if you need it ". Yeah, we are here if you just want to talk Clover replied softly as she placed her hand on his shoulder, as did Alex.
Ron sighed heavily as he knew he had to spill, and he didn’t want to lie to the girls. “ Well, I guess somebody should know “ Ron replied, mentally preparing himself to regale the whole sitch with Kim and Eric and how everything he ever cared about was falling apart.
Kim got a new boyfriend, his name is Eric. She's had them before, but this one is different. There is something off about him that I can’t quite tell what it is; my mind keeps raising red flags about him. He says while looking at the girls, hoping he is getting his point across. Ever since they started dating she we have been spending less and less time together; it has gotten to a point where I haven’t seen or spoken to her for weeks. I feel like I am losing my best friend, and this is the start of that, and I don’t know what to do; I just miss her so much, but she’s got this new guy in her life, and he is slowly pulling us apart. After the whole Beuno Nacho melt down on TV, she came to talk to me and told its time to grow up saying Eric won’t change anything that we’ll be “Still be tight “, I knew those were pretty words from her something to placate me, but she was right on one thing that it was time to grow up, so here I am attempting to grow up and make something of myself.
Sam, Clover, and Alex were all stunned at the whole revelation. Yeah, they had all dated guys, but it never was at the expense of their friendship; they always made time for each other no matter what guy was in their life. To see Ron, a guy who always had a smile on his face, so carefree, a real ray of sunshine with his childlike wonder and infectious happiness that made everyone around him happy, be so sad and depressed. Broke the girl’s hearts; they could see the joy in his eyes slowly fading. They were all swearing at Kim in their heads for how she made Ron feel.
As the girl’s head home after their shopping with Ron. So, what do you girls make of this “ Sitch " so to speak, asked Sam. I think he's in love with her, replied Clover, that’s obvious to anyone who spent more than 5 mins with him replied Alex. Whoever that Eric guy is, I hope he’s worth it because it’s costing Kim a guy like Ron, who is a one in a billion, said Sam. With that, the girls got into their car and drove with the hope that they could get Ron back to his usual goofy self.
