Scott is a lot of things. A fish isn’t one of them. So, you can imagine his surprise when he wakes up to an itchiness along his arms and face, and a slight difficulty in breathing, which, upon further inspection, were caused by scales and gills.
…Huh…
After processing this new information, Scott falls back onto the bed with a heavy sigh and a grimace. He was already weird enough, he didn’t need the server to alter his code to add even more weirdness. At least the scales were kinda pretty? They shimmered slightly in the light, in a way that reminded him of the stars. The gills though, Scott definitely preferred not having them. They flapped weirdly when he breathed and generally didn’t feel pleasant. Not to mention, he felt like he was getting half the amount of oxygen than normal.
As spawn protection wore off, Scott felt a stabbing pain in his stomach growing, like he had been run through with a sword. Right. That would be because he had. Martyn had killed him. Scott had asked him to. The itching sensation where the scales were worsened to a burning and his gills ached terribly, it felt like someone got a knife and cut them in. Scott curled in on himself as the pain worsened, fins— fins??? — flattening against his head. Pathetic little whimpers escaped him, and he hoped nobody would find him like this. At least he was yellow now, nobody would be looking to kill him anymore. Martyn had made sure of that.
