My first letter!
Hello!
I am new to this pen-pal thing. I hope I'm doing this right. I found out about this program that connects students of similar ages from different schools and that sounded interesting so here I am...
I'm really looking forward to meeting someone new, even if it is through these letters.
Ah... I guess we should talk about our interests. I'm not too special, really. I'm just a boy who tries his best to live everyday with a smile.
I would reveal more but I'm shy and my sister says I shouldn't share too much about my identity with strangers I only met in letters. I suppose she's right.
But we can talk about other things!
Something interesting about me? Hmm... when I'm feeling down, I like to write poems in my home garden. I started writing poems ever since I was 13, but I don't think I'm any good.
I'll share something I've written and you can tell me if it's bad or not. You can be honest...
Sunny Day!
Bunny, bunny! On this day that's so sunny!
Hopping around, cute on the ground.
What is he thinking about? Is it something funny?
We can't tell as he doesn't make a sound.
I wish I could talk to bunnies.
They will never judge me or ask for money.
Unlike my friend, who still owes me twenty pounds.
I love sunny days! They are better than rain clouds.
This is my first time ever sharing my poetry with another person. So please be gentle! I bruise easily...
