"Hey guys!" said Eddie, "Where's Mike?" "Probably eating sheep or something" Richie said. Everyone looks at him as if he just said the worst thing ever. "D-d-dont say that, R-richie!" said Bill. "Yeah that's malarkey!!" Said Ben. *Richie rolls his eyes* "I can say whatever I want, Ben, Also what does that even mean? You probably just found it in a dictionary or something. All you do is read, unlike me and my awesomeness at playing street fighter" Beverly looks at Richie in disbelief that he just said that "Richie, that's probably why you're so stupid, Also that sentence sounds so weird, if you read maybe you would be able to form a proper sentence." "Whatever Beverly" Stanley thinks they're both being ridiculous "You guys are both f###ing idiots, let's just go already"
They all go to the quarry and listen to music "Wow guys, You know what, This song is really good! What's it called?" Eddie says. Beverly tells him even though he could have just read it himself "It's called 'Prayers for Rain', The Cure just came out with it not to long ago." They stay at the quarry for a while and listen to The Cure and Echo And The Bunnymen.
Beverly goes home and her dad asks her where she's been, She was drunk and wasn't thinking about what would happen if she actually said so she told the truth. Her dad looked at her and asked her to repeat herself. She told him and he swung his fist at her in anger, Her nose starts bleeding and she passes out.
Beverly wakes up in her bed "Oh. That was just a dream. just a dream. just a dream.." Beverly looks down at her fist and sees blood, "Nevermind.." "Did I punch him?..." She thinks. She doesn't know if she blacked out from being drunk or if he knocked her unconscious. Beverly goes to the living room and sees her dad unconscious on the floor. She assumes he drank to much.
She decides to go out to the pharmacy even though it's almost midnight, On her way there she sees some guys on the side of the road that look hurt, "Hey are you guys okay?" They grab her and start brutally beating her up. She starts coughing up blood. One of them grab a bat and swing at her. They steal her money and go. The next day Beverly is put in the hospital and left in a coma.
The Losers visit her (minus Mike, They found out yesterday that he moved schools), they're all sad but everyone could tell something was wrong with Bill, Later Bill found out he had depression, Everytime they hang out with Bill he's very quiet and when he does talk he stutters way more than usual, Stanley can't live to see Bill like this
"Hey Bill are you okay?" "Y-y-yeah i-i-im f-fine, Stan." Stanley didn't want to bother Bill more but he knew something was wrong. Stanley decides to go to the quarry by himself, Stanley hasn't taken a bath in a week, only because he wants to be left alone and he knows Eddie will leave him alone even if he hasn't showered for just one day. On his way to the quarry it starts raining.
He finally gets there and jumps in the water to take a swim... "I'm sorry, Bill." The next day the police find his body. The Losers go to his funeral including Mike, which the whole time he looks like he wants to say something but never does. (they go with out Beverly, as she is recovering)
"Eddie,"
"What, Rich?"
"Nothing I guess.. Just forget I was going to talk"
"Okay.."
