Grian regrets how third life ended for the entirety of every life series. When they are reunited, it's bittersweet.

Can I really go on?
After betrayal
After heartbreak
With all I love gone?

We’ll always have the sands
But that ring of thorns
The Sun beating down
That piece of paper in your hands

Void, I can’t do this again
I can’t look
Can’t watch
Can’t even be your friend

The Stars looked like gems
We gazed up
They watched all
The world paid for our sins

Souls unraveled before me
You ran
I lied
We fell deeper than the sea

I felt Their eyes all the while
As fire rained
And ice raced
I saw the blood Moon smile

Time grew shorter as we danced
I still turned away
As you cried out
Yet we weren’t even worth a glance

Then war reigned over us
Led by Mars
Failing you
He was fueled by vengeful bloodlust

Secrets were Their favorite game
Failed at first
Then you learned
For Them this wasn’t the same
When the Earth joined the song
I was crying
You were flying
My dear it’s been too long
