When you first met he was anxious, not the 'shaking like a puppy' kind of anxious, but like a 'I don't want to look like a complete fool in front of them' kind of anxious to the point he just wouldn't speak.
"Hello Yuzuru!"
"Yuzuru..?"
"Why won't you talk to me :("
It got to the point where you just thought he didn't really like you, which he forced himself to speak out and tell you that is indeed not true, that he just is a bit shy around you!
The first thing he had taken you to do as a pseudo date was skating, which didn't really end well for you as he hoped, much to your dismay you pretty much looked like a new born deer trying to walk, but with much more falling.
He ended up accidentally confessing when he learned you might have a concussion after one particular hard fall, once he realized what he said he just froze again, wishing that you would forget what he said, you didn't though.
"Is this a bad time to say I really, really like you?"
"What?"
"...."
"Yuzu?"
"Nothing.."
Boyfriend!Yuzu who no matter rain, snow or shine will attend whatever he promised you that he would attend, even if he is a little late to whatever it is!

Boyfriend!Yuzu who introduces you to his coach, Brian Orser, before anyone else, because why not meet his second 'father'.
Boyfriend!Yuzu who would buy you a little gift from wherever he goes, a small plush, keychain, postcard or whatever he thinks you would like.
Boyfriend!Yuzu who brings you to sendai to meet his parents, who he has told so much about you to, his mother ends up scooping you away from Yuzuru to gossip and to show his baby pictures.
"Mom..?"
"He was 4 here, look how cute!"
"So cute!"
"Mom, can we please just start dinner?"
Boyfriend!Yuzu who sends you photos of any puppy or kitten he has the chance to, because he knows you adore animals!
Boyfriend!Yuzu who, when he finds out you adore My Sweet Piano goes out of his way to locate plushes of the character, because he would do anything to make you happy even if it lowkey makes him go broke.

Boyfriend!Yuzu who whenever you are feeling upset, buys you your favorite snacks and drinks for a small little movie night to cheer you up!
Boyfriend!Yuzu who gifts you small plushes of winnie the pooh, which help you when he is too busy to sleep over at your apartment.
Boyfriend!Yuzu follows you around like a lost puppy, he just wants to be near you and to see what you are doing!
Boyfriend!Yuzu who doodles small drawings of cat faces on post-it notes that he puts in your lunchbox because he knows for a fact that it makes your day a bit brighter!
Boyfriend!Yuzu who suprises you with a tiny kitten to keep you company when he is away, you ended up naming the kitten winnie after yuzuru's idol!
Boyfriend!Yuzu who proposes to you the moment he gets reassurance from your mom (or dad) that he indeed can marry you.
Fiancee!Yuzu who gushes about you to anyone who will listen, mostly to Shoma though as Shoma is too nice to tell Yuzuru to politely be quiet.
Fiancee!Yuzu who can't help but grin when he locks eyes with you or really anything you would like, it reminds him of what he has waiting for him to get home to!
