Work Text:
Command overlooks the vast plains and forests by the side of Benevolence and her constant shadow, Wisdom. At the Titans and their so called ‘Children of the Stone’. Benevolence sways closer to him, ‘We should have what they have. You could have a form to Command the peoples with, a form to rule with.’
Command hums a thoughtful note before turning to see a smaller Titan with its veins open to the sky, glittering in the sunlight. Wisdom chimes in upon noticing, ‘I don’t think that is Wise to do Command.’ His hum turns to a discordant note in annoyance, ‘Then do not participant.’
Benevolence chimes a note of agreement that Command barely hears as he flies closer to the Titan. He keeps well out of sight until he finds a vein it cannot reach easily. Close by the Titan’s ‘ankle’.
His tendril touches the vein lightly and a rush of power flows through him, overwhelming his senses. Leaving him gasping in air where he is on his knees, hair falling into his face. Pulling his hand back, he looks himself over and touches what he cannot see. The Titan has moved on as if not noticing the change in the once-spirit.
Command no, Elgar’nan, rises to his feet. Inhaling deeply of the air and chuckling amused at Benevolence’s antics before watching her trail after the Titan he gained his form from. Wisdom no longer in sight.
Scowling as he overlooks the abandoned battlefield, Elgar’nan turns to face Mythal’s lapdog, “Are you happy now, Fen’harel? Does it please you to see all this death?” The Wolf twitches at the barb within those words, “I take no joy in this. If you had heeded my words in the beginning, it would not have come to this.”
Laughing darkly, Elgar’nan gestures around them, “And yet, this is all because of your actions not mine. Where is your Wisdom now Dread Wolf?” Glaring at him, Fen’harel scoffs and walks away without another word.
Elgar’nan smirks as the Wolf retreats to plan again, before turning to the battlefield again. His expression drops as he frowns, muttering to himself, “Sooner or later Fen’harel, you will have no one by your side. Then you will know true defeat.”
