Summary:

Anna and Elsa go on a horseback ride through Arendelle, where Anna allowed herself to surrender to her feelings and rest on Elsa's back.

Notes:

So to make a long story short: there was this Disney Dixit game and one of the cards portrayed this beautiful scene of Elsa and Anna riding on horseback. The shipper inside me screamed and begged for me to write a drabble, so, here we are.

As they rode across the frozen lands of Arendelle on an glacial horse, Anna rested her head on Elsa’s back. Despite Elsa’s powers, the skin of her back felt warm.

Anna remembered a time when they were kids, riding on a rocking horse. One of the few moments she spent with Elsa in their youth.

She secretly blamed her parents for splitting them apart. Not because they robbed her of the time she could have spent with her sister…

But because their time apart caused her heart to yearn for Elsa in a way she knew she’d never reciprocate:

Love.
