Work Text:
Soon enough, Prussia had a bunch of shades of paint in his room and Canada was roughly five minutes away.
Prussia turned on some music and began to lay down tarps and put masking tape on the baseboards.
Soon enough Canada was coming down the stairs, Prussia turned around, stopped the music, and smiled at him.
“So… What was this? Impulse?” Canada questioned.
“Sure, why not?” Prussia said as he finished with the baseboards.
“Okay, what design are you going for?”
“I was thinking of mountains, or stripes. But for the lines, I’ve got this!” The albino threw the masking tape in the air, but failed to catch it. He scrambled to grab it and hid it behind his back. “...... You didn’t see that.”
Canada laughed, “I think that the mountain idea is a good one. Do you want to start with one side of the wall, and I do the other?”
Prussia nodded as he tossed his boyfriend some masking tape. They listened to all kinds of music while they worked. Once the first coat was done, they ran upstairs for some food before coming down for the next layer.
There was even a point where Germany came down with some drinks and gave a whole lecture about, “The fumes of the paint are going to make you dehydrated, and you two have been down here for hours without coming up.” Or something like that, Prussia wasn’t really listening.
After hour 4, they had finished the majority of the wall. Prussia smiled at Canada, “Thank you for doing this with me. It’s actually way more fun than I thought it would be.”
Canada mock bowed, “Of course.”
Prussia erupted into laughter, “I’m being serious!”
Canada rolled his eyes and stuck his tongue out at him. “And what if I was too?”
Prussia shook his head, “No you weren’t.”
Canada laughs and kisses the albino’s cheek, “You caught me.”
