Chapter 1: An author’s curiosity

Chapter Text

Fluixon Aculon, a well-known author in the murder mystery genre, is being followed…again.

Well, it is something he has gotten used to, with fame comes a never-ending stream of public attention, after all. But the person who’s doing it this time is someone he had known all his life.

And they had no clue that he knows their identity.

Saparata Theria, who he had been hanging out with since high school, is now trying his best to hide behind the surrounding bushes and buildings in a pitiful attempt to follow him wherever he goes.

Usually, it would have annoyed the hell out of Flux, but this time, he decided to use this opportunity to test how good of a stalker Saps was.

Right now his friend is… not doing a good job..

Knocking into things everywhere he goes, accidentally gets too close, tripping over his own feet too many times for Fluixon to even count,… all while trying to hide himself. Saparata in Flux’s eyes is the worst stalker he’s ever met. He pushes down the urge to call him out and show him how to do it correctly because if you stalk him then at least put some effort in it.

Fluixon takes a turn around the corner, stopping inside the local café and ordering his usual order: Cappuchino and a chocolate croissant. He comfortably sit down on the window seat, pulling his laptop out and continues to work.

Thats when he caught a sight that made blush crept up on his cheek: Sap has gotten distracted, playing with a cat on the side of the pavement, giggling as it licked his hand, his eye crinkling in delight.

Quickly brushing it off, the author focuses back on his laptop, writing and sipping his coffee, mumbling.

Stupid Saparata, him and his sparkling white hair, him and his stupid bright dark grey eyes that lights up when he sees Flux, him and his two symmetrical moles, moving slightly upwards every time he laughs, closing his eyes, him and his pale skin that flushes so easily—

Okayyyy he needs to focus.

He cleared his thoughts and returned to his work, typing rhythmically on his computer, occasionally glancing behind him, seeing how his “stalker” is trying his best to snoop and take pictures of him.

Fluixon smirked, ”Lets see if you can keep up with me, Saps…”.
