Work Text:
Few people born in this world live through it without being unmarred in some way. Their bodies are covered in scars both fresh and old. The lines that cut through once clear flesh tell stories that neither of them have heard but somehow know them by heart.
Diluc and Wriothesley are both flushed as they sit there on the bed for their shared lovers appraisal. To be this vulnerable and know with absolute certainty that they are safe is a rarity and it leaves them in quite the daze of wanting to hide but also to expose themselves more to the comfort.
Diluc's cheeks burn hot and his eyes flicker away from their intense gaze as their eyes trail down his scarcely clothed body. He shyly uncrosses his arms giving them a better look of black lace covering his chest. The custom grape leaf design basque looks good on him and while he had found a bit of humor in it considering his business he is not one to wear something he does not like especially something so exposing.
Wriothesley shifts in his spot. He's a patient man though it can't be helped if he wants some attention as well. It's cute that he perks up as soon as their eyes land on him sliding down from his eyes to his own chest. It looks tight yet they know he's comfortable with the way the maroon bustier emphasizes his already large chest.
The scars on both of their bodies peak through the lace and while there are many who would say their skin is ugly it is hardly that to them. Their marks, the scars, the stripes around their thighs and bellies, the odd dips and bumps, they're beautiful.
And they make sure to show them that alongside their own. Their hands trace the marks in awe while the two do the same to them and one another. Diluc's fingers follow the arch of the scars on Wriothesley's arms in reverence as Wriothesley cradles the scar at Diluc's hip. It's soft, intimate how they can hold each other like this without fear of judgment.
The kisses they press to each others old wounds and the whispers of genuine appreciation and praise may bring tears to their eyes but they know they're worthy of it. And when they tire they rest safe in each others embrace curled around each other glad to have a place they can just be.
