Chapter Text
Terrance walked home from his job as a youth pastor walking down the streets of New England when he noticed someone following him he started going a different direction in order to lose them
More people followed him they were herding him towards the bridge over the river as Terrance ran across the bridge a group of people blocked his way the people in front of him and behind him pulled out smiley face masks and put them on
Terrance held up his hands "look I don't want any trouble I'm just trying to get home"
The two groups of people got closer one of them grabbed at Terrance and he threw a punch at them "don't fucking touch me!"
The masked people surged forward overwhelming Terrance they grabbed him and held him down tying his wrists behind his back and his ankles together the other end of the rope tied to his ankles was tied to a cinder block
Terrance screamed for help one of the people brought out a spray can and spray painted a smiley face on Terrance's chest and one on the ground of the bridge
They started chanting "be formless like water be immortal like water" they lifted up Terrance and the cinder block over the edge of the bridge before dropping him
Terrance screamed as he fell towards the water it stung as he hit the water his mouth filled with water and he tried not to breathe in the water but in his panic he gulped down a few lungfuls he tried to loosen the ropes but they held tight and fast
Terrance drowned all alone his eyes flew open as he came back to life still trapped underwater more water filled his throat and lungs drowning him again Terrance woke up and drowned multiple times he prayed for God to save him to make this torture stop but nothing changed years passed underwater in a constant state of drowning and reawakening
