Experiment AU.
At the USJ attack they don't kill All Might, but Kurogiri manages to warp most of the class to a lab, along with Thirteen and Aizawa. They didn't get All Might because when he punches things wind flies everywhere, and the wind messed up Kurogiri's mist.
At another attack they get some class 1B members and also Midnight who was watching them at the time. Mei Hatsume was also taken because at the time of the attack she was trying to help the remaining student by giving them support gear in case something else like the USJ happened.
Too late for that.
Now the remaining students are merged into one class and Vlad King's the homeroom teacher.
Shinso replaced Midoriya in class 1A because in this AU Midoriya had been kidnapped back when he was still quirkless.
Bakugo doesn't really like being in the same class as Monoma because in this story, Monoma's Midoriya's half-brother. You'll see who the father is in a bit.
Bakugo never called Midoriya 'Deku' in this world so he didn't take it well when he got kidnapped. Monoma didn't either, especially since he thinks his dad has something to do with it. His dad is All for One by the way. All for One, the quirk, seemed similar enough to Copy.
In doctor Garaki's laboratory he's giving the students new quirks and taking some quirks and giving it to others to see how they mix. Thankfully, those who lose their quirks and become quirkless aren't immediately killed since Garaki might want quirkless test subjects later or need to take some extra genetic material to get the quirk to bond with someone else.
Basically the nomu are braindead because if someone gets a new quirk the body treats it like a foreign contaminant and tries attacking it but the immune system confuses what's part of the original body and what's not so the brain gets turned into cheese.
Garaki can bypass that by putting a lot of effort into making the nomus capable of thought but he usually doesn't want to because then what stops the nomu from turning on him? Also it's a lot of effort.
The other way is to make the quirks mix instead of staying separate. Like someone with a tentacle quirk getting a liquid-based quirk and it merges into the person having a quirk that lets him shoot ink. As long as the original quirk is there, the body doesn't think there's anything different so it doesn't do the whole braindead thing.
Also Garaki has Eri to undo any mistake she might make. She's been trained to not accidentally kill people with her quirk now.
Jirou gets Kaminari's quirk and Garaki modified her earphone jacks to be able to turn into USB thingies or plugs so they can be compatible with other machinery. She can download data directly into her brain. Garaki has also basically computerized her brain so she listens to orders like Deadpool in the Wolverine origins movie.
Shoji has Ojiro's tail, Setsuna Tokage's quirk, and Kirishima's quirk too. The thought process was that he would have a lot of limbs to disconnect and harden to use as weapons. Unfortunately, since the quirks are separate, he's not very good at thinking right now.
Tsu got Mina and Midnight's quirk and she can still think because the acid sweat mixed with Midnight's Somnambulist and it turned into something like Mustard's poison gas as well as latent frog poison.
Garaki was trying to get Tsu to be a nomu that focused on stealth and he wanted to give her Hagakure's quirk too but Hagakure faked her death and no one knows she's actually alive and running around the facility without clothes on trying to figure out how to rescue everybody.
So Tsu ends up getting Mineta's quirk instead because has anyone else realized how good it is for traps and long-term planning? Also it manifests on her body like frog warts.
Sato and Shishida and Shoda's quirks get mixed because the growing stronger only to get dinner weakness is moot if the user is braindead.
Tokoyami gets Kuroiro's quirk and also a quirk that lets him turn into shadows. Garaki notes that Dark Shadow is currently fighting the mind control.
Kaibara and Kamakiri and Kendo's quirks are mixed because giant blade-tipped drills are dangerous.
Aizawa gets Zoom from Mei Hatsume because imagine just losing the ability to use your quirk and you can't even figure out why because Aizawa's standing like five miles away staring at you. Also Garaki is looking into how to get around the blinking issue by adding a second eyelid or something.
Also Touya Todoroki is here because in this AU it took him longer to wake up and Garaki figured he'd be a good weapon. When he met Shoto it was a very shocking family reunion.
And Tsubasa too because poor kid, getting turned into a nomu by his own grandfather.
Hagakure finds Midoriya who's been kept around to see how naturally quirkless people react to new quirks and they devise a plan to escape together. Kurogiri is also slowly remembering that he used to be Oboro Shirakumo with Midoriya's help.
Meanwhile, Monoma is figuring out his own plan because thanks to Kurogiri's interference, the UA teachers rescue Eri and Monoma heard something from her about the labs that makes him sure that All for One is behind this.
With Kurogiri and Hagakure's help, Monoma gets some of All for One's DNA to keep around with him so he could copy the quirk whenever he wanted to. Then while Hagakure and Midoriya mess up the laboratory security, Monoma and Kurogiri lead the heroes there to rescue everyone.
All for One gets captured and Monoma uses his copy of the All for One quirk to steal his quirks and return them to the original owners. Eri rewinds the people who got experimented on and Monoma gives everyone their quirks back.
So things are back to normal... except for trauma and the Aizawa family adopts Eri who turns Kurogiri back into Oboro Shirakumo.
