Seonghyeon was laying on Keonhos bed, blanket pulled up to their thighs as they faced each other.
It was yet another hot summer night and the two teenagers were laying in Keonhos room, his parents gone. The fan pushed to the corner of the room didn't help with the heat a lot since they stuck close to each other, noses only a flinch away from touching.
Keonho held Seonghyeons hand tight, fingers interwined, refusing to let go. Seonghyeons cheeks were flushed, a light shade of pink spreading across his face from the heat. Keonho always found that adorable...
Well he found anything about Seonghyeon adorable like his eating habits or how he'd fidget with his fingers when he was bored. It was all cute to him either way... Seonghyeon was too cute, sometimes when Keonho would look at him for too long he'd feel his heart slowly melting at the sight in front of him.
Seonghyeon wasn't any better, hold eye contact for too long and he's a goner. It's always been like that yet they don't know just how much they really love each other.
Seonghyeon had felt something different for Keonho ever since they started dating, it was the type of love he hasn't felt for anyone else. He'd steal glances at him whenever he could, gripping the strap of his backpack tight when Keonho seemed too close to his friend.
Just the thought of him made Seonghyeon blush, he was down bad and he knew there was no way he could ever leave him, at least not yet. He always thought Keonho was a pretty kid, ever since they became friends in middle school. And since then Seonghyeon hadn't felt the same. He'd spend all his time with Keonho. They'd sneak out late at night just to eat snacks and watch the sunrise together, Keonho leaning his head against Seonghyeons shoulder as the tiredness catches up to him just before the sun could rise.
And right now Keonho stared into Seonghyeons eyes, the small moments of them kissing when their parents weren't home or secretly touching hands during classes flashing through his mind like it was all he could think about. And it really was, all he can think about is Seonghyeon. He watched Seonghyeons eyelashes flutter against his cheeks as he blinked, the soft shadows making him look even cuter.
Keonhos fingers traveled down Seonghyeons arm, reaching the small scar he has right below his shoulder. The pads of his fingers traced the scar lightly, he never knew where the scar came from but at that moment it didn't really matter. All he wanted to feel was Seonghyeons warm skin against his.
Seonghyeons eyelids fluttered shut, his boyfriends warm touch soothing him. He kept them shut tight, wanting to feel his touch for just a moment longer. Another thing Keonho found adorable. He pressed his lips lightly against Seonghyeons and the older ones eyes opened just enough to steal a glance at his pretty lover. In that moment he didn't need much else either way.
It wasn't their usual kiss, Keonho kissed him just a bit deeper which made Seonghyeons eyes widen for just a moment before he kissed him right back. His hands came up to grab at Keonhos waist, the fabric of his tank top bunched up in the palm of his hand.
Keonho pulled back just enough to look up at Seonghyeon, his boyfriend prettiness almost making his eyes water but thankfully he didn't notice it.
"Hyeon-ah..." Keonho spoke softly. "I love you."
Seonghyeons breath got caught in his throat, he loves when Keonho calls him that.
"I love you too... I always have."
Keonho let out a soft giggle, his thumb now brushing against the apple of Seonghyeons cheek. Keongo didn't say anything after that, staring into his lovers soft features as he fell asleep, fingers interwined.
"I love you so much..." Keonho whispered into the darkness, pressing a soft kiss to Seonghyeons lips and that night sleep didn't come easily as all he could think about was his boyfriend.
