Wait A Minute!

Summary:

Usopp can't imagine anyone ever liking him, after all he's just a liar and a coward who can't even pull his weight in the crew. So why does he feel a spark with their cook and swordsman? Why do their interactions feel softer now, and most of all why does anyone care if he's scared? He's always been a coward and a liar, why should that change now?

Notes:

Hi, it's been a really long time since I've last posted and I'm super sorry. I'm about to start summer break and my One Piece and Usopp obsession is back. Try to expect a chapter every week or every other week.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Chapter Text

“Ngh-“ Usopp groaned, his abdomen tensing as he was slowly being stretched out by rough hands that carried just enough gentleness to draw little moans from his lips. He felt like his nerves were on fire, pleasure tingling up his spine as those damned fingers teased him mercilessly. “Fuc- please- AhhHH~”” Usopp moaned breathlessly, throwing his head back in pleasure as another finger penetrated his entrance. “I’ve barely started and you’re already begging like this?” Zoro’s rough voice teased, his tone sultry in a way that tickled Usopp’s ears. Zoro leaned forward as his lips descended on the sensitive skin of Usopp’s neck, licking and sucking until he left a dark bruise where his mouth was. “Fucker!-“ Usopp choked out before Zoro’s lips hungrily crashed against his. Zoro didn’t ask for entry, he demanded it. Usopp felt Zoro’s hand snake up to his chin, pulling it down enough for their tongues to slip together, battling for dominance. All the while Usopp was squirming as Zoro continued fingering his hole, his dick throbbing for the same attention. Their moths separated with a string of spit in between, leaving both men panting. Then, Zoro slowly pulled his fingers, leaving Usopp’s stretched hole closing around nothing. Usopp was breathless, face blushing, sweat dripping down the small of his back, cock throbbing at full mast. Zoro grinned at him smugly, admiring his handy work. “You’re so cute, falling apart just for me.” Zoro whispered in Usopp’s ear before nibbling on the edge of it. Usopp mewled with pleasure, arching his back as the man continued to praise him. “Since you’re so needy right now, let’s get right to it.” Zoro said mockingly, pulling back to line up his cock with Usopp’s entrance. Without warning, Zoro slammed into Usopp until their hips met, leaving Usopp screaming as white hot pleasure shot through him.

“So beautiful, mon cherie~” Sanjia whispered, running a hand down the nape of Usopp’s neck all the way down to the small of his back. “Mhm!” Usopp mewls, the delicate touch sending sparks of need through his body. “Joli, keep letting us hear those beautiful moans.” Sanji continued to sing sweet praises in Usopp’s ear as he ran his hands down Usopp’s side. Usopp could feel Sanji’s breath on his neck, mixing with Zoro’s rough thrusts he wouldn’t last much longer. Sanji reached his hands down, pinching and fondling his nipples while trailing kisses down his chest. “Ah! Ngh~ Please- FUCK- don’t stOP!” Usopp moaned, arching his back. He greedily met each thrust, Zoro now meeting his prostate every time, bringing him closer and closer to the edge. Zoro’s thrusts became shallow and erratic, telling Usopp and Sanji he was close. “So good for us, Usopp.” Zoro growled. Sanji wanted to make sure both of his lovers reached a ground-breaking climax so he wrapped his hand around Usopp’s throbbing cock. He ran his thumb over the slit and used his precum as lube to give him a few rough strokes from base to tip.

“Zoro- Sanji- IM CUMMI-”

“Fuck- cum for me Usopp!”

Usopp arched his back as his hole clenched and his cock sprayed sticky, white ropes onto his stomach. Zoro made one last deep thrust, spilling his own seed into Usopp’s hole as they reached their explosive climax together. “Amazing, both of you.” Sanji whispered, letting the two ride out their orgasms.

- A few weeks earlier -

Usopp was frustrated, extremely so. His back ached from hunching over his desk for hours and his legs were falling asleep from the way he’d been sitting. He had been in his workshop since the afternoon, not even bothering to go to the kitchen to get lunch- not that he had noticed his hunger, he was far too focused on a new invention. Usopp had been trying to create a new star, one inspired by his many pop greens. On one of the last islands he stopped at, he heard of a new species of carnivorous plant that he was hoping to use. The idea of it was simple enough: grow the plant, encase it in a shell that will trigger the plant’s danger response, then when shot it will encase the victim in a sticky jelly. Well, it should have been simple except every single time it malfunctioned and left Usopp covered in a translucent slime that refused to come off. Now he was annoyed, tired, and unable to get up. “I seriously don’t get it! I’ve tried everything to make this work!” He yelled out of frustration before being silenced with a cough.

‘I think I've been working for too long, I should take a break… soon.’

Usopp thought to himself, choosing to ignore the fact his throat felt like a desert and his stomach loudly opposed that decision with its grumbling. Usopp put a tentative hand on his stomach and picked up his dull pencil to get back to sketching. The paper crinkled under the pressure he was applying- quite unevenly due to his exhaustion.

‘Just one more try. Then I'll get water and food- and wait a second. Crap, I have watch duty tonight.’

“It’ll be alright I’ll just start cleaning up now, then go swap with Zoro.” Usopp muttered under his breath. He began to try to get up from his chair, but promptly realized he was stuck. Due to all his failed attempts to make his new pop green, he ended up more than covered with its signature slime, apparently it had started to dry around his legs, effectively leaving him stuck in his seat. “Wait, I know! I'll just melt it off with my flame star!” He exclaimed, not even realizing he was speaking out loud. “This workshop is flame-proofed, so it should be fine, right?” He asked no one in particular. Not thinking clearly Usopp grabbed a handful of his special flame-stars and threw them at the ground where the slime covered his feet. Immediately the slime burst into flames, a thick smoke seeping through the crack in the door and making Usopp cough aggressively. “Fuck- I forgot about the smoke.” Usopp choked out between coughs.

‘At least the slime is melted. Not my best move, though.’

Taking this moment of freedom Usopp swung his legs over the chair, letting the pins and needles fade before walking away. In his moment of disorientation Usopp failed to notice his disheveled desk or the papers burned and scattered about his workspace. He heard heavy footsteps seemingly running towards him.

‘Well I did set off a flame-star, I suppose it would warrant some attention.’

“Oi, Oi what the hell long-nose?! What’s going on in there?!” Zoro yelled as he barged into the chaotic scene. “Oh- hey Zoro-kun! Just finishing up some work is all.” Usopp said casually, just before being struck by a coughing fit again. He waved his hand in front of his, trying to disperse some of the smoke in front of him. “What kind of work requires you to set your workshop on fire?!” Zoro asked, exasperated. “Well you see- uh. I was sort of trying to make this new pop green but I was really tired, and wasn't really thinking, and I was covered in slime and it was hardening, and I might have thrown down a flame star to melt the slime. But anyways nothing the great captain Usopp-”

“Alright, alright. Let's just go see Chopper.”

“-can’t handle… What?”

“I said let’s go see Chopper. Your legs look burnt.”

Usopp looked down, suddenly realizing the tingle he felt in his legs wasn’t just from falling asleep. “I see. Well I don’t wanna make extra trouble for Chopper so I’ll just take care of these myself!” Usopp reached down to touch the burns, suppressing a wince. “And they barely even hurt at all, see!” Usopp looked back to see Zoro’s unamused face, he turned away in embarrassment. “We both know Chopper would want to help you. Either way it's your turn to watch, how are you going to do that if you're taking care of those burns?” Usopp just sighed, deciding to give it up just to get this over with. “K, let's go.” Usopp mumbled, standing up slowly. He gave himself a few seconds to let his legs adjust to holding his weight again before following Zoro out of his workshop and towards Chopper’s office across the ship. Zoro led Usopp silently, only muttering under his breath: “Idiot, who purposefully sets themselves on fire- save for the shitty cook…” Usopp felt an embarrassed blush creep up his face. Not only had he failed, he just ended up making more trouble for everyone else. ‘Making new weapons is my thing, but I can’t even do that right without someone stepping in to clean up my mess.’ Usopp sighed dejectedly, trying not to spiral right in front of his stoic crewmate. “Hey, Zoro?” Usopp practically whispered, regret heavily laced in his voice. ‘Yes?” Zoro responded, back to his usual monotone speech that sounds like talking mixed with grunts. “Sorry for making trouble for you, and Chopper. It my fault, I should’ve-”

“Would you stop that? Nobody’s mad at you right now. Just let Chopper fix you up.”

Usopp just stopped and stared. ‘What did he just say?’ Usopp wondered, his negative thoughts momentarily stopped to process what Zoro, the Zoro that fought with Sanji almost hourly, the Zoro that seemed about as emotionally intelligent as a rock, the Zoro that ignored almost anything emotional at all, had just said. Usopp could feel butterflies in his stomach. ‘This is so weird, my nerves must be getting to me.’

“You coming, or what?” Zoro asked, looking back at Usopp who was still stopped behind him. “Yeah, sorry!” Usopp hurried back to Zoro’s side, ignoring the mental gymnastics his brain was trying to do. They quickly approached Chopper’s office, the door still cracked open with a pale light spilling out of it. “Hey Chopper, got a patient for ya’!” Zoro yelled. “Bring them in!” Chopper responded, Usopp was able to hear him quickly shuffling to the door. Usopp walked to the door shamefully, still not able to let go of his negative mindset. Zoro walked away, allowing Usopp and the doctor some privacy, understanding that the Sniper probably didn’t want Zoro in there.

“Just be more careful next time, and get proper rest so you won’t have to make decisions like that half-asleep!” Chopper scolded Usopp, whose head was low but presenting his usual self-deflecting smile. “Got’cha doctor! In fact I’ll head to bed now!” Usopp rushed his words, quickly getting up to try and leave the situation behind as quickly as possible.

As soon as Usopp was clear of the doctor’s office he sighed. It was just about time for him to take over watch duty, so he walked towards the crow’s nest. ‘How embarrassing, I just have to make a mess everywhere I go, huh?’ Usopp continued to berate himself. He was glad he went to Chopper, however. The stinging pain in his legs now felt more like a dull ache as he approached the ladder up to the crow’s nest. “Hey Zoro! I’m ready to take watch duty!” He yelled as climbed the ladder up to the makeshift gym and observatory. He climbed slowly so as not to scrape his leg on the way up. Usopp looked up to see Zoro absent-mindedly curling a smaller weight, as he looked down at Usopp. “Don’t bother, just go to bed.” Zoro said, while it sounded aggressive there was a hint of concern in the corners of his voice. “I’m fine, Chopper said I can take watch tonight and it would be unfair to make you stay up the whole night-” Usopp lied through his teeth.

“I said it’s fine. You’re obviously exhausted and I can take an extra shift.”

Usopp again went silent. He just nodded and descended the ladder again. After all, he couldn’t deny he really was tired, that's what got him into this stupid mess anyway. Not that the thought soothed him at all. His mind was left to spiral as it usually did after he fucked up, again and again. ‘I’d just like to sleep and forget about this. Tomorrow Usopp will deal with this.’ He thought as he headed to his bunk, sleep already weighing on his eyelids.
