Work Text:
Slowly Silver woke to find his senses slowly returning, cool air on his face despite the burning presence at his side. He felt the way legs were entangled with his, much like how someone's fingers were entwined in his. His eyes, laden with sleep, opened slowly to a dim room. Shifting his gaze to the person beside him, he saw half his soul in all his beauty.
Sebek.
The sun slowly rising to illuminate Sebek's face, Silver could see small dark green scales freckling his sleeping face, tousled light green hair contrasting with his soft brown skin, and lips turned ever so slightly downward as he dreamt.
"I wonder what you're dreaming about..." Silver asked in the barest of whispers, he could see Sebek's eyes fluttering about under his eyelids. Though in that moment Sebek chose to open his eyes, struggling out of the dredges of sleep, he focused on Silver. The moment clouded sleep left his eyes as loving clarity flew in was instant and hard to miss. Sebek's lazy smile would have chased the stormiest of days away with how he made Silver feel.
"G'morning my knight." Sebek murmured, slowly kissing Silver's hand. He brought his hand up to Sebek's back and pulled them closer together making it easier for them to entwine. And entwine they did. They must have been like that for hours, trailing lazy kisses down each other's bodies and re-weaving themselves back together. Silver eventually pulled Sebek's head to his, their foreheads touching, and just as he was about to kiss him, Sebek pushed a finger to his lips.
"Morning breath." He chided,
"So?"
"It would taste disgusting!" he exclaimed, though still laughing. Silver heaved a sigh, there would always be something he could never get away with.
