Work Text:
The muffled sound of bottles clattering could be heard from the en-suite bathroom. Ohm sits on the edge of the bed with a small smile, looking at the bathroom door like a puppy waiting for its owner to come through the door. He leaned back on his arms, careful not to put too much weight on his bandaged left hand. The pain had gotten much better, but he was still concerned, although his brother did point out that he had already started using that hand to work out again, but that was just different.
His ears perked up when the door finally clicked open, and Nanon stepped out wearing a black t-shirt and knee-length shorts—two articles of clothing of Nanon's that had made home in his closet a long time ago.
"Have you just been sitting there all this time?" Nanon asked as he rubbed his wet hair with the towel around his neck.
Ohm shook his head, the smile on his face ever present, but not too big, or else it would freak Nanon out. "I made breakfast," he said.
"You did?"
Ohm answered with a cocky jump of his eyebrows. "It's in the kitchen."
Nanon inhaled. "Great. I'm hungry."
He saw that Nanon was starting to make his way to the door. Ohm was hungry, too, but he wouldn't let Nanon walk out that door so easily.
"Hey, come here for a sec," Ohm called for him. He pushed himself off his arms, sitting straight, waiting.
Nanon frowned at that. "Why?"
"Just come here," Ohm replied with a shrug, gesturing for him to come over.
Nanon idled in front of the desk, but Ohm could see no hesitation in his eyes when he finally walked over to him. Even if there were, it was masked under his pretend cautiousness. A performer since he was in diapers, he always liked to put on a show.
He stopped between Ohm's legs over the edge of the bed with another raise of his eyebrows.
"Give me a kiss?" Ohm puckered up, hands tugging Nanon's like a kid asking for candy. He was met with a scoff from above. Nanon looked over at the walls behind Ohm, an amused smile on his face as he shook his head in (another pretend) disbelief.
"You're unbelievable," was the only thing Nanon had managed to say.
"You can have your breakfast after this," Ohm said, still waiting with puckered lips that reminded Nanon of a duckling.
Nanon heaved out an exaggerated sigh, making big movements with his shoulders to let Ohm know that his demand was inconveniencing him, but the dimples on his cheeks betrayed him. They always did.
"Alright."
Nanon leaned down and pecked Ohm once on the lips, though he should've already seen the ulterior motive behind the request that was laced with sugar in Ohm's voice, because by the time he moved to pull himself away, Ohm's hands had jerked the towel around his neck so he could deepen the kiss.
There was a measly attempt at pushing him away; a lazy hum of disapproval at the back of Nanon's throat, but it didn't even reach his mouth as it was too busy sucking on Ohm's bottom lip.
Nanon could feel Ohm drawing himself back, and he didn't have it in him not to chase his lips, as if he wasn't the one who was denying him the pleasure at first. It was embarrassing to admit in the beginning, the effect that Ohm had on him, but he had internally resigned to the fact.
His eyelids fluttered open, his breath hitching at the look Ohm was giving him from below. Ohm closed his legs as Nanon stepped back, before he took his seat in his rightful throne: on Ohm's lap.
"You said we could have breakfast after." Nanon's voice was low, post-shower cold hands finding their way to the warmth of Ohm's cheeks.
"Mm. I didn't tell you to climb onto my lap, did I?" Ohm mumbled out his reply. His fingers snaked up and down Nanon's back, and he couldn't resist a smirk when he felt him arch his back a little in reflex to the touch.
There were some things that felt very easy to fall back into after being away from them for so long. It was racing for Ohm and acting for Nanon. No matter how preoccupied they were with self-discovery or new music, once the engine revved or the camera rolled, they would be good to go just like that.
For both of them, it was the way their bodies understood each other. Not muscle memory, no, or at least not yet. Ohm thought relying on muscle memory wouldn't be fun. There should always be something different each time, like how his hand would pat Nanon on his back (or if he's lucky, his ass) after Nanon helped him up, or the manner in which his body would react to the staccato gasps Nanon let out when he left kisses on his inner thigh.
But it was the innate recognition between their bodies, an instinct that ignited with a single touch, that felt like second nature to them.
Nanon glanced down at Ohm's lips—the lips his 19-year-old self had caught himself staring at more times than he could count he could pick them out in a Where's Waldo situation in an instant. He leaned down and caught Ohm's bottom lip again, dragging it out slowly, a reminiscence of their first kiss on the beach years ago, under the bright studio light in front of a bunch of camera crew. It wasn't the most romantic setting to have his first kiss with someone whom he didn't even know he was harboring a crush on, but the way Ohm had smiled into the kiss almost made it worth it.
They were supposed to be in the kitchen eating breakfast right now while waiting for Ohm's brother to come home after staying at his friend's to drive the older brother to his follow-up appointment at the hospital, but instead here they were; Ohm's lip between his teeth, the other's healthy hand holding him steady on the small of his back, and the smile on the beach was back on Ohm's face, like they were 20 and 21 again.
Nanon finally let Ohm's lip go to kiss him properly this time.
Their lips devoured each other slowly, languid motions familiar between their tongues. It was a stark contrast to the kisses that they shared last night; desperate and frantic, as if they were running out of time. They knew they were on borrowed time right now, but they wanted to savor every moment before they walked out the door and real life started again.
Ohm's right hand moved from Nanon's back to slip under his shirt, kneading on the defined abs he'd loved ever since Nanon had shown him the fruit of his hard work, his t-shirt riding up his torso the more Ohm's hand moved up, until they finally had to part for the first time in minutes, a string of spit connecting them, for Ohm's hand to slip the towel from around Nanon's neck. He threw it to the ground haphazardly (it was going in the laundry basket anyway) and Nanon took that chance to pull his shirt over his head by himself, just so Ohm wouldn't have to use his bandaged hand.
Wasting time seemed like a sin at this point. Their lips found each other again, unhurried in the way Nanon's palms were pushing Ohm back by the shoulders onto the mattress. Ohm made sure their lips never came apart, absorbing every sigh and every purr Nanon made into the insides of his cheek, the back of his throat.
Ohm wanted to remember every movement, every atom in Nanon's lips as he kissed him again, and again, and then some more, before he had to say goodbye for another month. He wanted to carve the shape of Nanon's lips onto his, so he could always revisit the feeling while he was alone in his room in Melbourne.
His hands slunk along Nanon's spine, moving sideways to stop at either side of his arms before rolling them over, trapping Nanon in between his arms. He pulled away to worship what his eyes had been blessed upon.
Nanon's brown, blown eyes were looking up at him, damp hair splayed out onto the fresh bedsheet Ohm had just changed, his tongue licking the saliva that sat glistening on his swollen lips. His lashes fluttered down as he lifted his hips ever so slightly, grinding up against Ohm's thighs that sit between his open legs.
Fuck, Ohm thought, or did he say it out loud? He couldn't tell. His mind was spinning.
Maybe he did say it out loud, because Nanon threw him a lopsided smile, confident and so fucking hot and cute in his eyes, and pulled him down by the neck to kiss him again.
Ohm welcomed his soft lips against his again, tasting the mint toothpaste that they shared before shifting his lips to the corner of Nanon's mouth, his chin, trailing down and halting by his Adam's apple to feel it bob between his lips, traveling past his collarbone to leave wet, open kisses on his chest. Nanon carded his fingers through Ohm's hair, tugging on it lightly with a mewl when Ohm took his nipple in his mouth before working his way down his ribs. Hard enough to draw out those moans that he kept dreaming about in his dorm room, but soft enough not to leave any marks.
"I missed you so much," Ohm murmured against the thumping of Nanon's heart against his ribcage. He had said it last night, the words drowned into the fabric of Nanon's hoodie as they hugged. He had said it again as he pushed Nanon up against the wall of the living room, his family having left his house just minutes ago, Nanon laughing instead because his dogs were ruining the moment.
He had said it once more, against the salty skin of Nanon's shoulder blade as he thrusted into him, and yet hours later it still rang true.
"Did you miss me? While I was in Australia?" This time, he asked because, of course, he had to know.
Nanon looked down at Ohm, waiting with his lips pursed in a pout and chin resting on his sternum, his head going up and down, up and down with the rhythm of Nanon's breathing.
Nanon, though, was not going to let Ohm have it so easy.
"What kind of question is that?" he asked, scoffing, making sure to put enough playfulness in his voice.
Ohm rose, elbows by Nanon's ears, thumb playing with his earlobe.
"An easy one," he replied.
Nanon tilted his head, the corner of his lips pulling up into a defiant smile. "What if I said no?"
A regular person would've gotten hurt. Would probably pull away immediately. But Ohm wasn't a regular person. Instead, Nanon saw something flash in his eyes, and he quickly recognized what it was.
"Then... I'm gonna do... this!"
Nanon couldn't dodge the attack on his weak spot fast enough, and he let out a yelp when Ohm started peppering his neck with light kisses. With hyperbolic MWAHs, because if Ohm was anything, he was dramatic.
"Wait, Ohm!" he shrieked as he tried to push Ohm off of him, but he was always so much sturdier than him, so much stronger when he wanted to, and he felt his arms being pinned above his head instead. The fluttering in his stomach was mimicking the tickle of Ohm's soft hair against his jaw. All he could do was scrunch his neck to avoid the attack from getting worse.
"Okay, okay!" Nanon gasped, his laughter melding with Ohm's breathy giggles on his skin.
"So, did you miss me?" Ohm whispered his question right under Nanon's ear. He let go of his hold on Nanon's arms so he could pull back. He needed to see Nanon's face for this. "Hm?"
Nanon's brown eyes followed his movement, his hands landing on Ohm's biceps. He thought for a moment, as his fingers traced circles around the birthmark on Ohm's arm, whether he should tell the unadulterated truth or make a joke out of it.
"I missed you," his voice was quiet, like he didn't even want the walls to hear it, as the words were reserved for only Ohm to hear. "So bad. And every time we talked, it just made the need worse—the need to see you, to hold you, to feel you. But I had to talk to you, or else it would kill me."
There was only silence between them for a moment. Nanon saw Ohm's gaze soften, and he waited patiently as he observed Ohm's eyes darting across his face a few times, as if he was taking everything in. Then he watched a smile bloom on Ohm's face, the faint whiskers that popped up whenever he smiled showing up on his cheeks. He never told Ohm this, but he was secretly as fond of those whiskers as Ohm was of his dimples.
"Damn. You should put that in your next song," he said. But there was no usual teasing in his tone, no smirk heard in his voice. He was enraptured, grateful for Nanon's choice to tell the truth.
"Alright," Nanon replied with a roll of his eyes, his dimples prominent in his cheeks.
Ohm chuckled. "Actually, don't. That was only for me to hear. Don't share it with anyone else."
He didn't plan to anyway, but he still gave him his word with a nod. "Okay. Can we have breakfast now?"
Ohm looked down at the legs that were caging him. Nanon, instantly aware of what he was looking at, tried to bring them together to hide it, completely forgetting that he had his boyfriend between his legs. He saw the smirk flashing on Ohm's face when he caught sight of the faint wet spot on his dark shorts.
"Oh." Ohm pushed himself to sit upright and pulled his shirt over his head, tossing it behind him. "We're gonna have breakfast alright."
