The flour was everywhere in the kitchen as the two men didn't care and kept baking. Thomas seemed skeptical of the weird-looking batter but Fluixon just said "Trust the process." Which was a terrible mistake Thomas believed in.
The cake turned out to look like it experienced world wars, its sides burnt, the taste was absolutely atrocious. The both of them looked at each other with questionable glances as if they were silently telling the other "The fuck did we just make?"
Fluixon threw away the 3rd cake in the trash, theyve been retrying the same recipe over and over again from some ai. Thomas decided to search up online to find other recipes and pray that they turn out to taste good at least.
It didn't take the brunette long to actually find a worthy recipe for a cake. Fluixon didn't complain and only gulped as he started to make the cake.
The dessert turned out to look.. Not as bad as the last ones they made, the taste is what they care after all. Fluixon tried first and a faint sour taste of lemon hit him as variants of flavour melted into his mouth.
"Yum." Fluixon muttered, Thomas took a bite too, feeling the taste as his eyes lit up. The cake was perfect, just not the looks but don't judge a book by it's cover.
Fluixon places the cake in the refrigerator and took of his apron which Thomas does too and waits for Saparata to come home, waiting to celebrate him.
A few hours has passed and Thomas was passed out on the couch, Fluixon was doomscrolling on his phone before he heard the door knock and open.
Thomas was instantly awaken from his slumber and ran to Fluixon who was hiding behind the wall, holding the cake. He quickly fixed his appearance and stayed quiet.
Saparata was confused on why the house was dark as he calls out to Fluixon's and Thomas's names. Once he heard there was no response, he takes off his shoes and walked inside.
Fluixon jumped out of his hiding spot and congratulated Saparata, the same as Thomas who was clapping. "Congrats Saps!!" The both of them said to the ivory man who smiled widely.
"Hah, thank you guys." Saparata squealed in excitement as he hugged Fluixon who was holding the cake with the other hand. Thomas stood in the background and kept quiet.
Fluixon returned the embrace as he responded with a "No problem, Saps, it's your graduation after all." Which only made Saparata even more thankful.

The three of them decided to go on a short trip to the cafe to continue celebrate Saparata's graduation as a gift. Thomas, even though he didn't want to draw any attention was feeling slightly left out.
He sat the farthest away from them as his smile slowly faded before he felt a warm hand placed on his shoulder. He looked up to see Microspr, Saparata's big brother.
Micro always had that charm that always interests Thomas in some kind of way as he greeted him and the lovebirds (saps and flux). Sitting down next to Thomas whom felt a arm wrapped around his waist.
Back to Saparata, who was devouring the cake that Fluixon and Thomas made for him. The flavour bursted into his mouth with every spoon. Fluixon on the other hand, had his chin laid on his palm as he stared at the ivory boy with love.
Saparata had some of the cake's icing on the corner of his mouth as Fluixon wiped it away with a hankerchief, a warm smile forming on his face.
Thomas and Micro only looked at each other before giggling silently, although, Thomas did feel Micro's grip on his waist subconsciously tighten but didn't mind.
A few hours passed by as the sun started to set, the orange-ish light hitting them. A nostalgic feeling churned in Saparata's chest as he knew this was probably the last time he would experience this.
After saying goodbyes to Thomas and Micro. Fluixon and Saparata went home to finally rest for a while, their bodies tangled together like vines. A puzzle that fits each other perfectly.
