there was a little girl.
She was kind.
The world was not.
She was kind.
Her friend was only kind to her.

Her friend was scraped by the universe.
She was alive, in a way.
Body cold, yet mind alive.
She wandered, discovering a world of pastries.
An innocent world.
A world at her mercy. The mercy of her whims.
She smiled, no longer kind.
She became something powerful, something colder.
A system was created.
The pieces were placed.
The board was created.
Once upon a time,
god bestowed five virtues.
The virtues failed.
One fought back.
One gave up.
One abandoned their duty.
One attempted to impersonate god.
Only one stayed loyal.
That one sealed the virtues.
Once upon a time,
There was gods.
There was dragons.
God killed the dragons.
Once upon a time,
God bestowed five Souljams.
Only one fell, so close to success.
Once upon a time,
the creator cared.
Once upon a time,
God had not abandoned the world for another.
