Katie would be walking the streets past her hq she knew she was getting bad again mentally especially after she made a deal with….whatever it doesn’t matter anyways. As she continued walking she saw a certain someone it was hard to not miss him with his white furry ears and red hat it was her husband with federation guards behind him but who gives a fuck about them Katie started to cry not from sadness but joy it had been days since she saw him again she would run to him when she reached to him she hugged him in a tight hug tears down running down her face ruining her mascara but she knows Tomate doesn’t care about it as Tomate hugged her back a warm and loving embrace everything horrible she had felt had disappeared as she was in his arms.
All the bad thoughts she had every cut she had made every gulp of beer she had seemed worthless now how that her true love the one to never betray her was back she didn’t feel so empty anymore but all that ended she opened her eyes seeing the federation guards and remembered the deal she had made while drunk on that one night, she didn’t think they would take it seriously but they did she pulled back putting her hands on Tomate’s cheeks as the sky darkened rain hit the floor she gave a sad smile to Tomate, Tomate was confused holding her wrists a little tight because it started raining and the last time it happened something bad happened.
The federation guard tapped a watch they had Katie was running out of time with him she rubbed his cheek with her thumb as her smile turned into a frown
"Tomate I don’t have much time but I love you so much and I worried about you where you were how you were and I was looking for you I was in a horrible place without you and I want you to know I’m doing this for you, for you to have that freedom I had while you were captured the roles are gonna be basically reversed but I promise in a week I’ll be back please don’t tell anybody about this."
She explained with a shaky voice as Tomate gripped her wrists harder he was so confused and didn’t want her to go through what he did his mind was racing with questions but wasn’t able to ask them katie wanted more time she would hug him one final time sliding a note from her sleeve that was slightly wet from the rain into his pants pocket thunder struck around them Tomate hugged her tighter arms around her waist now he knew how she felt when he disappeared from her arms but it wasn’t just yet the federation guards approached
“Enjoy the island.”
The other added
“Tomate”
Then thunder struck Katie setting the spot she was at on fire now gone the federation guards looked at Tomate then teleported to Katie Tomate stood there hoping soon they’d finally be together no federation to separate them ever.
