"Everything is in order, Ai' Pai." Phayu stood, gathering the contracts.
"I will let you know as soon as I have all the vehicles ready for placement, but it shouldn't be long, a couple of weeks at most?"
Prapai also stood up, pleased. "Take your time, the opening won't be until the beginning of next month, so we have time, I'll have the maintenance company finish the remaining odd jobs left, so everything will be perfectly functioning by the time your truck comes with the cars and bikes. Let's go get our boyfriends now, it's been hours, they must be bored."
Phayu laughed, following Prapai out of the office.
"What do you think they've been doing all this time?" Phayu asked.
"I don't know, maybe played at the console? Or gone to the swimming pool?" Prapai shrugged. "With these two, you can never know."
"Sometimes I feel like I should put Rain on a leash." Phayu chuckled, earning a disgusted stare from Pai.
"Ai'Phayu, keep these things for your bedroom, please I am so not interested!" He lamented pushing the elevator button. Phayu scoffed at him.
When the doors dinged open, they walked inside and Prapai pushed the button for the penthouse.
As soon as Pai punched the code for the main door, opening it, they heard laughter.
Looking at each other, they nodded, and as quietly as they could, moved following the cheerful sound to the living room.
There, Rain and Sky where wheezing, laughing full belly, tears in their eyes, pointing at the TV screen, where something that looked like a documentary was on pause, on an image of a baby penguin, ruinously slipping on the ice.
"Rewind, Sky! Please rewind!" Rain begged through tears of laughter, holding his belly.
Sky, that was trying to dry his eyes while hiccupping from cackling; rewound the scene.
Prapai observed the baby penguin chick get back up as pulled by an invisible force, and walk some step backwards.
Sky pushed play and they all watched the little chick amble through the snow, the camera showing his cute fluffy butt swinging from side to side in an adorable way, until his little feet slipped and he fell beak first on the ice.
Sky and Rain were already laughing before the fall.
"It's so adorable! I can't stop laughing!" Sky cackled draping himself on the back on the couch, that's when he noticed Prapai and Phayu watching them.
He immediately sobered up, losing his joy, and Prapai felt extremely disappointed at seeing the laughter disappear from Sky's beautiful face. It was still somehow so rare for Sky to laugh that freely and with abandonment, that Prapai hated that he felt he had to stop, just because he was there. He wanted to see Sky laugh, he wanted to hear his laughter.
"Don't stop on my account!" he told him, taking a step into the living room, reaching him and kissing his forehead.
"I love it when you laugh." Pai said "Don't ever stop."
