Paris was never meant to remember.

As Ladybug and Cat Noir continue to protect the city, everything begins to change, and the line between their two lives blurs. Because the more they rely on luck, the more it starts to fail them.

And when the truth finally begins to surface, they'll have to face the one thing their powers were never meant to fix: the aftermath.

Chapter 1: Prologue

Many centuries ago, extraordinary jewels of unimaginable power were created. These jewels were called Miraculous, capable of granting their wearers incredible abilities beyond human limits. Throughout history, these jewels were entrusted to heroes who used them to protect humanity and preserve balance in the world.

Among all the Miraculous, two stood above the rest. The earrings of the Ladybug, which held the power of creation, and the ring of the Black Cat, which held the power of destruction. Legends whispered that if these two Miraculous were ever combined, they would grant absolute power, no mortal should ever wield.

Because of this, the Miraculous have always been both a blessing and a curse. While they can create heroes, they also attract those who seek to use them for darkness. It is said that when the Miraculous fall into evil hands, their power twists against the user, inflicting a curse that leads to irreversible consequences.

In the present day, the Guardian has lost two of the Miraculous. After decades of uneasy peace, it has been discovered that the Moth Brooch has fallen into the hands of a new evil force.

Sensing the rising threat, the Guardian realizes he is no longer strong enough to fight this battle alone. With time running out, he makes a difficult decision—he must seek help.

But at what cost?
