Afterward

Summary:

Kaon cleans Vos. That's it. That's the fic.

Work Text:

Another one off the list. A Decepticon defector, he had attempted to hide in a rural town. To his credit, he did conceal himself marginally better with a new paint job—orange and blue—but the Decepticon Justice Division is much better at finding mechs on The List than that. A mech has many, many more markers indicating one’s identity than location and colors. No matter the paint, the color of their insides, with few exceptions, remain grey—metal—and pink—energon.

Killing a mech is very messy, and so two members of the Division find themselves in the washracks of The Peaceful Tyranny.

Kaon, a warm, wet rag stained permanently pink in-servo, does not need sight to clean Vos well. He has done it so many times that the both of them have lost track, and the other mech will tell him when he misses a spot. But they never have to, because he’s already mapped out the entirety of their frame in his mind. With servos that know more than their fair share about cruelty and violence, he is nothing but gentle as he works his way from face (Vos’ mask sits in their servos) to neck to shoulders, and then arms, chest plate to the pelvic plating and mirrored on the back, legs, pedes, and finally kibble.

Vos is patient as Kaon moves on to detailing inside their joint mechanisms and seams. There was not enough energon here that it was missed in the larger sweep, but they do not tell him that. With their alt mode being a weapon, Vos is mostly accustomed to touch being less than careful, and certainly not kind, so they soak up any chance they get to have something nicer, which almost exclusively occurs within these moments.

So Vos is in no rush, and they do not tell Kaon that the gears inside their servo are already spotless.
