Go hyuntak knew he was a little pathetic for Juntae, Baku knew it too - calling him out for giving Juntae extra attention, snacks before school, being the one to initiate physical contact with Juntae while Baku has to do all the initiating with gotak.
Baku even told gotak that he was jealous after finding him and Juntae cuddling in the basketball room during lunch.
Juntae was in class, not focused on what the teacher was saying instead his eyes closed, head dropping slightly but luckily never actually smacking it on his desk.
He didn’t sleep the night before, instead he binge watched a new series he got fixated on while he was on FaceTime with gotak.
They weren’t really speaking just the faint background of the show coming from juntaes iPad and some commentary from gotak complaining about a game he was playing.
Juntae ended the call at three am, seeing that gotak had fell asleep — Juntae would have stayed on the call because he enjoys the company of gotak but he was snoring way too loudly for Juntae to cope with.
Gotaks snoring habit is the only thing Juntae hates about gotak, one time at a sleepover he and gotak were sharing a bed with gotak fast asleep—snoring—while juntae lay awake unable to fall asleep.
After a while he got annoyed and moved to the couch for some silence leaving gotak in his room alone, his plan worked with him falling asleep in five minutes but then waking up thirty minutes later to see that gotak had followed him to the couch, cuddling up to him and snoring in his ear, again.
Because of gotaks accidental addiction to staring at Juntae in class, he had noticed the smaller boy nodding off and decided that Juntae should sleep in the basketball room during lunch so that he doesn’t sleep through the rest of his classes.
He knows how much Juntae cherishes his notes in class and that he will be mad at himself if he loses another class worth of notes.
Once the bell rings gotak stands up, immediately tracking over to Juntaes seat to tell him about “his plan” to help him.
Juntae doesn’t properly respond, just mumbles something incoherent, letting gotak drag him along to the basketball room.
“I’ll stay with you while you sleep okay?” Gotak says opening the door
“I’ll wake you up before the next class starts”
Juntae stands staring with a look like he’s expecting something from gotak
“Aren’t you going to lay down first?” He mumbles with a slight pout
“OH oh yeah-right-I’ll just lay down” as soon as he lays down Juntae lays on top of him, nuzzling his head into gotaks chest.
Of course they over slept, not even gotaks snoring could wake him up instead Baku had to wake them up.
His voice booming through the room after he nearly knocked the door down with how fast he opened it, waking the two boys immediately.

Juntae loved the size difference between him and gotak.
How gotaks hand would cover his when he was wiping off dirt and blood of his knuckles after a fight gotak had because he was defending Juntae.
how gotaks would take up all the space on the bus - manspreading - leaving no room for Juntaes legs.
How he takes up all the space on the bed leaving Juntae with the only option of laying in top of the him so that he doesn’t fall off the bed.
How he’s the perfect height to give Juntae forehead kisses which had only just been added to gotaks way of showing affection to Juntae.
He used to hate feeling small-physically or mentally - he hated it, the bullies would always pick on him, seeing him as someone who couldn’t defend himself.
With gotak it’s a different story, he may feel small physically but mentally he feels big with gotak praising him or reassuring him in many ways.
Always telling him he did a good job with his school work or patching him up, he’s more quiet when Juntae helps with his knee but never failing to thank him.
Just like he did a couple minutes ago, now they’re watching some show that Juntae put on, gotak is half laying down—half sitting against the headboard while Juntae was cuddled up onto his side, his eyes slowly closing before shooting back open.
“Jun we can just finish the rest tomorrow” he turns off the iPad, placing it on the nightstand before properly laying down
“Are you enjoying the show so far?” Juntae mumbles out
Honestly gotak hadn’t been focusing on the show since the end of the first episode instead focusing on not moving so that Juntae was comfortable.
“Mhm it’s good” he says placing a kiss on the top of the smaller boys head before closing his own eyes.
“Please try not to snore taka” Juntae says which causes gotak to giggle a little bit, the vibrations from his body comforting the boy lying on top of him.

Juntae barley sees go hyuntak drunk, and if you told him that the boy is the type of drunk to get on top of a table and start dancing-he’d probably laugh.
But right now that’s what he was doing while Juntae was trying to get him down before he hurts himself—he would have asked Baku to help but he was unconscious on the couch.
“Sieunie please try and convince him to get down” sieun is his only hope seeing as drunk gotak doesn’t listen to Juntae
Juntae knows gotak finds sieun a little scary, he immediately got down after sieun said only a couple words
Juntae held his hands out to steady gotak so he doesn’t fall and break something, using his whole body weight to keep him stable.
Which works before gotak decided to lean all of his body weight on Juntae which causes them to collapse on the floor.
Juntae tries protesting, even asking sieun to help again but he this time he claims “there is nothing he can do” and goes to sit on the couch.
He lays there slowly accepting his fate, trying to think of ideas that could possibly motivate gotak to get up but nothing was coming to mind.
Gotak is a stubborn drunk as well as a stubborn sleeper so Juntae has no way of winning the situation
He knew if Baku was awake he could just pick gotak up and haul him to the bed but he was obviously not available, being dead asleep.
Plus gotak being clingy like this was Juntaes favourite kind of gotak, especially how he was giving Juntae sleepy kisses and nuzzling into him
Juntae will just have to deal with the back and neck pain tomorrow.
At least it isn’t as bad as the first time, gotak and Baku decided to drink “a little”
after winning an important basketball game which of course ended up with them being completely drunk.
Juntae had ran over Bakus restaurant due to the fact gotak wasn’t able to stay over at Bakus cause his father couldn’t handle two drunk boys.
When Juntae got there, gotak had babbled about how he “wasn’t drunk at all” — he even tried to prove it by doing a spin kick but failing miserably and falling on his ass, giggling away to himself.
After five minutes of waiting for the taxi, Juntae dragged the drunk boy into the car and asked the driver to take them to his house.
The whole car ride gotak stayed glued to Juntaes side, mumbling something into his neck, drooling every once a while (which Juntae had to repeatedly wipe up)
When they finally got to Juntaes house, gotak refused to leave Juntaes side, clinging to the smaller boy until they finally made it to Juntaes bed where he fell asleep almost instantly.
Juntae didn’t fall asleep straight away instead getting up to take gotaks shoes and socks off before wiping the drool of his face that either came from him in the taxi or him right now, it’s too hard to tell though.
Once Juntae had sorted gotak out, he finally started to get ready for bed-putting on his favourite pyjamas then putting a cup of water on the nightstand for gotak when he wakes up
He finally climbs into bed cuddling up to gotak side, even dead asleep gotak is clingy-immediately hugging Juntae back with the strength of someone who didn’t want to let go ever.

Juntae had a problem—a money spending problem, even before gotak came along.
He would spend all his money on manga, figurines,snacks before school and after school but now that gotak is in his life he spends a lot more.
He now buys snacks for himself and the taller boy before school, whenever their on the way home they always stop by the store
as well-grabbing snacks for their watch-alongs that always with Juntae asleep within three episodes.
On hangouts gotak always tries to pay but somehow Juntae manages to pay before him, everytime.
Whether it’s the cinema, buying energy drinks after playing basketball, even if it’s just them hanging round each others houses—Juntae orders in for the both of them if they hadn’t already brought food at the store.
He loves eating in at each-others house because once they finish eating they both immediately fall asleep sat next to each other on the couch, or sometimes they actually manage to make it to the bedroom, snuggling into each other.
Gotaks room is full of various stuff that Juntae either brought him or won him from the arcade, his wall being covered in posters from gotaks favourite show and photos of him and Juntae as well as Baku and sieun—most of them are him and Juntae though.
His bed is crowded with plushies that Juntae had won him over time, some big most small but nonetheless they take a lot of space on gotaks bed, nearly all of them sit at the bottom of the bed, stacked up in a big pile while there’s one that gotak likes to keep up the top.
It’s the first one Juntae had ever won for him, so it’s a little more special to him.
Whenever Juntae isn’t sleeping the night, gotak cuddles the teddy for comfort instead-one time Juntae had came over to gotaks house because he hadn’t shown up to school and wasn’t replying to messages that were being sent in the groupchat.
Of course gotak was ill and when gotak is ill he’s very sappy and whiny, when Juntae had entered his room he found gotak asleep, hugging the teddy insanely tight-like he was afraid it was going to run away from him.
He could see that gotak had sweat all over his clothes and his sheets, he also looked as white as paper— his mom had work so she couldn’t take care of him and gotak tried to just “sleep it off” which failed and resulted in him being even more ill
Juntae - of course - came to help, bringing soup and medicine with him—at night when gotak would have nightmares, Juntae would be there to comfort him, holding his hand and making sure that he wouldn’t get too hot, wiping his face with a cold towel every couple of minutes for the whole night until he fell asleep himself.
The whole night during Juntae taking care of gotak, he never let go of the teddy once- even after he woke up, he just shuffled after Juntae with the teddy in his arms, even with Juntae cuddling up to him when they were watching a movie he didn’t let it go.

Gotak was having a crisis, somehow Baku convinced Juntae to accompany him to a double date—he asked gotak first but of course he declined so Baku decided that Juntae was the next best option
Of course he was, the only other option is sieun and he’s obviously got suho already so he was a no go.
Gotak was currently on his bed, lying like a starfish trying to think of anything other then Juntae and the stupid date he was going on—he had tried everything.
He tried watching a series but it reminded him of when him and Juntae had tried watching it but instead fell asleep clinging onto each-other.
He tried to text Baku but he was busy working his father’s restaurant, he cleaned his room, the bathroom, he even cleaned the whole kitchen—yet his thoughts were on Juntae the whole time.
Fuck it, he wanted to be with Juntae—it was the least he could do before he goes on that date.

Gotak smiled to himself before putting his phone away, he wasn’t lying when he said he was sprinting to the court.
He made it there in ten minutes instead of the normal 17, he was proud of himself honestly yet it tired him out—instead of playing while waiting for Juntae he just layed down in the middle of the court.
It was late so no one else was at the court, it was peaceful, it was a little warm but the wind adding a slight chill to the atmosphere.
He laid there for five minutes before he heard Juntaes heavy and fast footsteps slowly getting closer to him, he sat up looking over to where the gate was to see him sprinting over in his “basketball clothes”
He was also holding a plastic bag with some drinks and snacks gotak presumed
“Did you actually run here Tak?” Juntae places the bag down on the side before walking over to him
“why would I lie?” gotak pinches his cheek then passes him the ball
“You start, I’ll still win” he teases
They had been playing for half an hour before Juntae had collapsed on the floor from exhaustion
“Why do I even try? You’re to good at basketball” he manages to get out inbetween breaths
“If we keep practicing you’ll get better Jun”
He lays down next to him,turning his head to look at Juntae who was staring up at the sky
Juntae looked pretty, the sky catching on his face, the faint redness on his cheeks-gotak had to restrain his hands before he pinched his cheeks
Would it be selfish to ask Juntae to not go on that date?
The words kept replaying in his head, would it or would it not?
“Juntae-yah”
Juntae turns to look at him, his breath nearly being back to his normal pace
“Can you stay round my house tonight?” He sits up looking at Juntae who copied his movement, sitting up as well.
“I don’t know Tak- I have the date tomorrow remember?”
“Please Jun, I’ll wake you up in time I swear I just-I want you to stay with me tonight okay?”
Juntae looks like he’s contemplating everything and it was causing gotak to panic
“Okay but you can’t cuddle me in the morning refusing to let me leave okay?”
Gotak nods his head so fast which causes Juntae to laugh at him before standing up to get his stuff and start walking to gotaks.
Juntae was currently sat on gotaks bed while the other was showering, he had already showered and got changed and was waiting the gotak to finish
He had turned on the tv to watch but all he could think about the date that he was supposed to go on, he only said yes because he felt bad for Baku.
He didn’t want to go on the date, he had gotak he doesn’t need a girlfriend.
Before he could get into his head too much he hears the water shut off and the door opening, the light from the bathroom making its way into gotaks dark bedroom.
When gotak makes his way into his bedroom Juntae is already staring at him with a look that says “I want to say something but I’m too scared”
Juntae moves to sit at the edge of the bed,telling gotak to sit on the floor in between his legs so he can dry his hair which gotak immediately does.
They stay in a comfortable silence while Juntae slowly works his hands through gotaks hair drying it in a way that makes him happy.
“Jun - do you have to go on that date?” Juntaes hands freeze in place
Gotak turns around,now on his knees facing Juntae “I don’t want you too”
Fuck, he really doesn’t want too but Baku would be disappointed
“I can’t cancel now tak-that’s rude and unfair to bak-“
“Junnie” he whines out, head dropping onto Juntaes lap, his arms wrapping around his back.
“Please don’t go Jun, I’ll treat you to a date-I’ll take you wherever,I’ll do whatever you want me to do just please-“ he raises his head again to look at Juntae staring down back at him, to stunned to speak
Gotak tightens his hold on Juntae before speaking again “I need you Jun - I need you around me all the time, if you go on the date you’ll find someone else - I don’t want that okay?”
He lowers his head, closing his eyes to try and stop the tears flowing from his eyes.
They sit in silence for a while, one by choice and one by shock - Juntae doesn’t know how to react, he’s never seen gotaks emotions poor out like that before.
is that why he asked him to hangout today? So he can say that?
He doesn’t know, all he does know is that he isn’t going in that date anymore - not after knowing how it made gotak feel.
He’ll call Baku in the morning and come up with an excuse but right now he needs to deal with gotak.
He moves his hand back into gotaks hair, slowly moving it “Tak at least lay properly on the bed for me mhm?”
Gotak raises his head, his eyes slightly red and puffed up which caught Juntaes attention
“Are you crying Tak?” His voice laced with concern—Gotak is too scared to speak so he just nods his head.
Juntae lays down properly first with Gotak following soon after, instead of him clinging to Juntaes side like he normally does he lays on top of Juntae instead.
Juntae is a little shocked and flustered because Gotak is neither light nor small—he covers Juntaes entire body, his head finding its place on Juntaes chest, arms either side of the boy while his tears slowly stop.
After a moment of silence Gotak speaks again after finding the courage
“You’ll still be here in the morning right Jun?” Juntae moves his arm which was lying on the bed, onto gotaks back-moving it up and down slowly.
“How can I move when you’re on top of me like this Tak? Of course of I will be” Gotak slightly moves his head up to look at Juntae
“You promise?”
“I promise Tak, now sleep okay?”
When gotaks breathing finally evens out and his body gets heavier, Juntae texts Baku, he makes some stupid excuse that he got food poisoning cause it’s not like he can say the actual reason.
Once he sent text to Baku, he drops his phone onto the bed before settling to sleep as well.
Juntae of course keeps his promise, not leaving gotak in the morning to go on the date - instead staying with gotak who was still fast asleep, quietly snoring into Juntaes chest while gripping onto his clothes for dear life
Even in his sleep he was scared of Juntae leaving, Juntae knew that gotak treated him differently from the others but he never knew it would come down to that.

Gotak started planning his attack like sieun, looking around for something to smack the guy with only having luck with finding a ramen cup, he won’t be using that.

He’ll probably only eat one or two of the snacks seeing as he brought them all for Juntae to eat - but he knows Juntae will make him try all the snacks anyway.
As their sitting on the grass, gotaks head in his lap while Baku rants about something to sieun who doesn’t look interested at all.
Juntae can only think about attractive it was to see gotak being possessive like that - he’s obviously seen gotak protective of him, every time some fucker from the union tried attacking him gotak would always put himself in front of Juntae.

It was Juntaes turn for a crisis, it was gotaks first time not staying over in two weeks - he had a basketball game and needed to travel and stay overnight somewhere.

When he hears the knocks on his door Juntae damn near sprints to the door, immediately hugging gotak who hugs him back with a hundred times more strength than Juntae.
