Aiden wakes up bright and early. For what reason? It's his boyfriend's birthday, obviously! He grabs his phone that was charging and texts the group chat he made a week ago.
Aiden ❤️:
Hey guys! The party is today!
The replies come in quickly.
Gabby 🐾:
YAY!!!! I CANNOT WAIT TO EAT CAKE WITH MY BESTIE TOM!!!
Ellie 🪡:
Babe, relax 😂
The party isn't until 12.
Jackie the Best Mama:
I can't wait to give my baby the biggest birthday hug ever! I picked up the cake last night so we're all ready to go!
Tess 🎨:
Can't wait 💖
Tom's baby bro:
Cool. I'll bring Eesha, too, if that's alright.
Aiden ❤️:
Absolutely! She's more than welcome to come!
Just then, Tom stirs beside him. "Morning, babe."
"Morning!"
The taller man stretches and sits up. "You're awfully cheerful. What's the occasion?"
"It's your birthday, silly!" He leans in and kisses his cheek.
Tom's eyes widen. "Oh! Shit, I forgot all about it!"
Aiden chuckles. "You're such a dork."
"Yeah, yeah. So, what do you wanna do today?"
"Actually... I need you to go to the store and grab a few things for me, if that's okay?"
"Oh... okay, sure! What do you need?" Tom tried to hide the slight disappointment in his tone. He'd thought maybe his boyfriend had planned something for his birthday.
Aiden grabs a notepad and pen. "Okay, so we need milk, cream cheese, bread, some cat food for Gabs, a dish soap, and if you can find more of those ramen packs we used for dinner last week that'd be great!" He says as he writes all of it down.
The older man nods his head. "Alright. Seems simple enough." He gets out of bed. "I'm gonna shower and then I'll head out, okay?"
"Okay! Take your time!"
As soon as Tom leaves, he immediately starts texting again.

He's gonna leave in an hour!
Gabby 🐾:
OMG I'M SO EXCITED!!!
Tess 🎨:
I'll bring the decorations!
Aiden gets out of bed and gets dressed for the day. Their house was quiet, but it wouldn't be for long once all of the guests arrive.
"Alright, I'm heading to the store now!" Tom exclaims as he grabs the car keys.
Aiden, who's currently sitting on the couch with Gabs in his lap, looks up. "Bye! Be safe! Love you!"
The moment the door shuts, the bi color haired man whips out his phone.

I'll be there in 5 with Tony and Eesha.
Aiden gently moves Gabs off his lap and he gets up, already hearing a car pull into the driveway. Tess is the first to arrive, holding a bag of decorations.
He opens the door for her. "Hey, Tess! Glad you could make it!"
"It's a pleasure to be here." She says as she walks in, setting the decorations down on the kitchen table.
They immediately get to work. Tess pulls out the streamers, paper plates, napkins, cups, plastic forks, and a big banner that says "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOM!!" She starts hanging the streamers along the ceiling while Aiden lays out the party supplies on tables.
A few minutes later, a knock could be heard at the door. The bi color haired man rushes to open it. It was Gabby and Ellie carrying presents!
Gabby practically sprints inside with a huge gift bag while Ellie calmly follows behind carrying another one.
"Hi, Aiden." The ginger haired woman says.
Her girlfriend looks around. "Where do you want the presents?"
"Over on the gift table!" He points to a small table set up in the corner of the living room.
Gabby dashes over and plops her gift down while Ellie places hers beside it. The two girls then join Aiden and Tess in decorating, helping with anything that needed to be done.
Just then, Jackie pulls up with Tom's little brother and Eesha. Aiden sees them through the window and smiles.
"Jackie, Tony and Eesha are here!" He opens the door for Jackie who was carrying a huge cake box, Tony and Eesha behind her carrying presents.
"Hey, sweetie!" Jackie says as she walks in, giving him a quick kiss on the forehead and setting the cake down on the counter. It's shaped like a donut with chocolate buttercream frosting and rainbow sprinkles.
"Hey." Tony says, handing Aiden his present. "You remember my girlfriend, Eesha?"
The smaller man nods. "Of course! Glad you could come, Eesha!"
Eesha smiles warmly. "धन्यवाद! I'm happy to be here!"
The party is really coming together now! The house looks amazing, the cake is here and it looks perfect, and all of their friends and family are here. Gabs purrs and rubs herself against Aiden. The bi color haired man picks her up and kisses her head.
Everything was ready! Now all they have to do is wait for Tom to return!
Tom parks the car in the driveway. He grabs the grocery bags from passenger seat, closing the car door and heads towards their porch.
He sighs, still feeling a little down about the lack of celebration. But at least he gets to spend the day with his boyfriend and cat. Tom reaches for the doorknob.
"SURPRISE!!!"
The moment the door opens, he's greeted by a chorus of shouts from his friends and family. The house is covered in decorations and balloons floating around. And what really catches his eyes? A huge cake in the shape of a donut.
Tom froze and drops the grocery bags right on the floor, not even caring that they fell. For a second, he just stands there in shock before eventually finding the words to speak.
"Wha... what's all of this?" He asks.
Jackie immediately wraps him in a bone-crushing hug. "Happy birthday, my sweet baby boy!"
Aiden walks up to Tom with a huge smile. "Surprise!"
The taller man's eyes well up with tears. "Babe... did you plan all of this?"
He nods, looking so proud of himself. "Yep! I wanted to throw you a surprise party just for you! Happy birthday, babe!"
Without warning, Tom pulls Aiden into a tight embrace, picking him up off the ground and kissing his face repeatedly. He finally sets him down, but keeps his arms around his boyfriend's waist.
"Thank you, sunshine..." He says. "This is amazing. I was worried that you didn't want to do anything special for my day."
Aiden cups his cheeks. "Of course I wanted to do something special. You're my favorite person in the world."
Tom kisses him deeply, pouring all of his love and gratitude into it. Everyone erupted in "AWWWWs" from their friends, a playful eyeroll from Ellie and a small gag from Tony (which Eesha elbowed him for, but there was no ill behind any of their actions) as they watched the sweet moment between them.
A few hours pass. The cake has been eaten, presents have been opened, games have been played, and everyone took tons of pictures. Aiden even sent some of them to Lake, who sadly couldn’t make it but still wished Tom a happy birthday.
Tom and Aiden were alone now that everyone had left to pass out from food comas. Gabs sound asleep in her cat bed, all snuggled up and content.
Tom wraps an arm around him, pressing a kiss to his temple. "Thanks again for tonight. This was the best birthday I've ever had."
"I'm glad you liked it." Aiden suddenly shifts until he's sitting in his boyfriend's lap. "Though the night is still young, and it is still your birthday. I'd like to give you one last present."
He raises an eyebrow. "What kind of present?"
"Well..." The bi color haired man traces his fingers along his collarbone. "It involves you and me together in the bedroom, lights off, and nothing but our touches."
Tom's face immediately flushes red as he understands exactly what Aiden means.
"So? How about it?" He asks as he slides his hands under Tom's shirt. "You want your present now?"
"Fuck yes." He scoops Aiden up into his arms bridal style and carries him towards their bedroom. The door clicks shut behind them.
And from that point on, the rest of Tom's birthday was spent in the most intimate and best way possible with his loving boyfriend.
