Damian watches the screen, eyebrows squinted together. He tracks every movement carefully, unsure on what and why...
"Brat," Jason nudges Damian. "You good?"
Damian nods and turns to face his three big brothers who watch him instead of the sex scene. The boy hesitates but asks, "Why... Why are they procreating? I do not understand how this fits into the plot. The characters were just fighting and now they want an offspring?"
Dick elbows Jason and Tim before they can laugh in Damian's confused little face. He leans forward so he can be Big Brother. "Well Dames, intercourse isn't always for making babies. It's for pleasure and-"
Jason and Tim leap off the couch and hurry out of the room, obviously not wanting to have the Birds and the Bees talk a second time. Damian watches them go, not sure why this topic is not for the whole family. Dick scoffs and rolls his eyes at the middle brothers.
"Why-"
Dick cuts Damian off, "Sex isn't the kind of thing you just bring up out of the blue." He pauses the movie and gets comfortable. "So you already know about anatomy and the actual action of sex, right?" Damian nods. "Alright, well sex is also for pleasure. It feels good, really really good. I first started having sex when I was about your age. It's scary, for sure. But you just have to find the right partner. It's all about trust and comfortability."
Damian nods along. From what he's gathered, sex is something you must do at this point in maturity, you must do it with someone you consider close, and it will feel good.
That night, Damian stresses out way too much about the idea of having to make love soon. He stares up at his ceiling, trying to picture himself in the positions he's seen on TV. Obviously, he would be the one on top, giving his penis to his partner. He's a man.
But that raises the question of who he could possibly get as a partner.
Someone he trusts and holds close to his life.
