Chapter Text
The alarm ringging, students were leaving the classroom, laughing and giggling. Ness sighed as he stand up. He had nothing to do exept maybe watch the sky or that blue person. Even if he was new in the school, nobody tried to approch him. He seemed dangerous. Not the kind of people you mess with. At least it was intentional. Ness didn't like attention. It made him cringe. Altrough, he had seen that one student he didn't know the name. Dark blue hair fadding to grey at the bottom. A pastel blue eye with a dark cross pupile. His other eye was hidden by a 'bandage' or that thing pirates used before, in a rose shape witg blue and grey colors. Kinda funny. He caught Ness eyes because he felt just like home. The thing is, Ness never knew what was home. Even his room didn't feel like it. Quite sad isn't it?
Lost in thoughts, he didn't feel right away the finger nudging his shoulder.
-"What the flying fuck?" He turned to see a boy with blond hair and grey eyes smiling.
-"Hello! My name is Kerya Mikaye, nice to meet you. I belive your new here?"
-"Oh yeah, what's up."
-"How am I supposed to answer that."
-"My name's Ness Kaedrah." He looked at the guy behind the blondie. "And who're you?" He had dark blue hair fading to grey at the bottom with a beautifull blue eye on his right and the other one was covered with bandages. His pupiles were a kind of cross. The same guy as before.
-"Hey! I'm Hazel Komidra, nice to meet you!" He said as his eye was glaring at him.
-"Umm... Hello?" He stumble at the stare. Usually, he scared people to the point they didn't even aproched him. So, what's wrong with these two? Silence setled in. He remebered. Hazel Komidra. The first angel. FUCK. Those filthy bastard. They signed him to this school fully knowing a fucking angel was already in it. He's gonna kill them. No wonder they were so mysterious about this place even if it's just a school. God dammit.
-"Are you okay? You seem pale." Hazel said with fake consern.
-"Yeah. I'm okay." Ness watched him as he steeped away in the cold corridors.
-"Guys I'm so hungry... Can we go eat please?" Kerya whinned his stomach growling.
-"Sure." Ness replies steeping out of the class too.
They walked to the canteen side by side with for only distraction Keyra talking about his sister who won the award of the prettiest girl in her academy. Tho Ness didn't really care, he still listened because it was one of the rare time he got to speak to humain beings. In Niraly, his home, he barely could leave the mansion. As the First Demon, his assistant always needed him to sign papers or read letters of recommendation to create a better living place even if he couldn't even have one bit of all that. Plus his people were only "creatures".
Weapons drawn, he glared at his opponents. His cheek slashed, he struck the bodies of his fallen enemies. As his anger calmed down, he checked his wounds. A fractured rib, a slashed cheek, a crushed foot. Damn. It really wasn't for him to fight thousands of enemies. It was the fault of those old hicks. They forced him to decimate the few goblins still alive. Although he was a supernatural being, the Lord's oath didn't apply to him because he hadn't signed the contract. Shit, Hazel. He couldn't stop thiking of how he talked to him earlier. With so much... intensity? Ness wasn't really good with figuring his emotions out, even less with other people.
As a demon he could regenerate. He couldn't help but think : 'If I can die, then what'll happen when I'll really want to? What if I could never leave this world?'. Not that he was sucidal, no. He just wanted to fgure out why was he born. What was he doing here? What was his purpose? It's been time. Very long time since he's been there. Fighting could be his purpose. It gave him that chill. 'Is that going to hurt me?' The adrenaline seems to grow stronger every time. He actually liked bleeding or see someone bleed. He thought that maybe he was weird. A little too weird for this world.
