Summary:

I mayperhaps have dropped my phone in the toilet the other day and have lost access to everything including my notes app so I’m making notes for the first D&D game I’m ever gonna DM here

don’t read ts there’s spoilers (not mega spoilers tho cause I’m generally pretty disorganised and js neeed to sort out a random bit so ts won’t rlly make sense to anyone at all)

Rats SC ideas: 

When *wood elf* comes back 2 warn the party, she’s carrying her arcane focus. One of the rats dives at her and steals it, meaning she won’t be able to cast w/o material components, mega limiting her spellcasting abilities temporarily. Chasing after it, the party discovers: 

• Chewed thru plumbing and they need to stop flooding
• Flooded the entire ground floor and an Arakokra fell in and can’t swim (he’s a bird like, they have heavy bones and can’t fly well w/ wet wings) 
• Knocked over some chemicals from potions and stuff leading to the student having mega bad chemical burns - there’s healing potions in that cupboard over there but, shit, there’s a fire blocking the way and it’s slowly spreading towards the comically large and modern looking barrel of petrol
• uhhh help im stuck
