Work Text:
He looks like salvation. Those round features on a green translucent face. Jello-like locks that fall to his shoulders. When he first saw Avery, Derek was supposed to know what the guy looked like, but despite that he was completely unexpected. Derek thought he knew Avery before they had ever met, but there was far more to the other than his infinite knowledge seemed to deliver. Nothing, and he means truly nothing, could ever prepare him for the blinding smile he has. Even now, as he stumbles side by side with the slime, he feels overwhelmed with how brightly Avery shines. Despite all they went through, his energy remains blinding.
“How did you know..?” He starts, but trails off as they finally reach the mineshaft where it all started.
There’s four mined tunnels, blocked by doors. A chest in the center of the room. It’s a setup that he’s all too familiar with, but for some reason it doesn’t bother him as much as he believes it should. Avery stops in place when Derek doesn’t finish his question, looking over to stare Derek in the eyes. It’s jarring to know that Avery can now fully take in his face after hiding it behind a helmet for so long. He would’ve put it back on, but the slime had been holding it in his right hand the whole time while the two of them walked side by side.
“How did I know what?” Avery inquiries back, head tilted as he smiles a lopsided grin.
Derek hesitates, but he knows what he’s going to ask. He feels like before he killed the king, he was more forward. He’s uncertain if it's the sudden lack of knowledge or the fact that there’s nothing hanging over their heads anymore. Originally he had to think fast, be decisive. Now there’s no stakes, and he’s left directionless. Despite that, he asks the question anyways.
“How did you know to kiss me?” His voice comes out barely above a whisper, but Avery acts as if he spoke loudly. The slime flinches at the question, teal blush blooming on his face like how it did when they originally.. Nevermind that. Avery steps back, smile turning into something different. Nervous. His eyes wander the room, the eye contact he kept before seeming to fail him now. “Avery?” He presses, confused by the silence.
That seems to snap the slime out of his thoughts, because Avery’s eyes lock back onto D3rlord. He swallows before briefly clearing his throat. “Ya know.. that’s the funny thing.” He starts, left hand reaching up to scratch behind his head before it drags down and rests at the back of his neck. Avery lets out a weak laugh, but before Derek feels pushed to ask the question again Avery continues. “I actually had no clue if it’d work.” He smiles big at Derek, but there’s not much substance behind it.
“What.” Is all he can muster, mouth suddenly feeling dry. His mind was on the brink of collapse and Avery chose to kiss him with no reasoning behind it? No words read in a book, no conclusion from a poem somewhere in this devilish place, not even a vision or something that granted him the insight. He just thought it’d be a good idea?
The slime instantly backpeddles, stumbling over his words before he manages a sentence. “Well- I um- I kind of had an idea it would’ve worked, but it was still kind of a gamble. It was just- you were looking at me sort of like-“
“Like I wanted to kiss you?” He interrupts, but Avery doesn’t back down.
“No! No. Um.. more like you didn’t expect me. Which you didn’t! And-“
Avery seems like he’s about to explain every inch of his loose thought process, but Derek puts his palm to the other’s mouth. He’d be wrong to say he didn’t understand what the other was saying, especially considering that Avery was right. He didn’t anticipate the slime’s return, which was something that lessened the pain. He was the gap in knowledge that his body was yearning for again with the king gone. How Avery, with his honestly questionable intellect, deduced that was beyond him. Maybe he shouldn’t have doubted the guy so much, considering this labyrinth would’ve been beyond most people.
“You managed to figure out that I needed a replacement for the king’s domain which initially was a gap in my knowledge, so you planned to create more gaps by doing things that were generally unprecedented.” He states, but he knows it was more than that. Avery had done a lot, for sure, but he could’ve done something else in order to shock Derek. Taking off his mask was already plenty shocking. Not that he was complaining, he enjoyed it quite a lot. He can’t help but tease, though. “And you wanted to kiss me.”
Avery’s deep green eyes go wide, but the lower half of his expression is still blocked off by Derek's hand. His skin is an odd texture. It feels oddly wet, but cold. It’s never exactly left residue either, not even a lingering cold feeling. He’s interesting, that’s for sure.
The slime steps back away from Derek’s hand and the knight drops it back down to his side. His mouth is agape with the effort to speak, but he stops himself. Just absolutely tongue tied. Despite not holding onto his infinite knowledge, he knows Avery wouldn’t deny his claim, but he can tell Avery doesn’t want it to be so simplified. It’s.. cute. He lets out a snicker of a noise at the other’s behavior before looking at the stairs before them. Derek wastes not a moment longer before beginning the ascent up the stairs and Avery lets out a choked noise before he follows side by side. He’s hysterical, the slime is, struggling to parse through words and making a series of odd noises and ums.
Then he stops, finally closing his mouth. Derek expects for him to keep being silent, but the slime is still full of surprises. “I did want to, yeah. You..” He trails off, but this time Derek gives him the space to think. He glances over at the slime before looking back towards the light of the surface ahead. He knows they have quite some time to travel, but he doesn’t mind. “Did you have any idea how I felt?” Avery murmurs, looking down at the cobble stairs they’ve been going up.
How he felt. Derek feels his face warm. He was stuck seeing infinite possibilities, choices, timelines, ideas, people.. He saw many Averys. Each with their own outcomes, depending on what actions Derek ends up taking. In that dark library, he saw Avery being overcome by the king and forced to be the king’s vessel right then. By the church he witnessed Avery being stuck planting flowers as a mindless slave until the king paid him a visit. In the times alone, wandering, he saw Avery laughing with him, crying, talking, yelling, just.. so much. There were so many different outcomes that by the time Avery came back to save him, he didn’t know which route he ended up going down.
“I knew there was.. a chance you would look at me that way, but there was a chance of so many things, ya know?” He says, and Avery meets his eyes again.
“Do you think it’s too soon for me to say I love you?”
Derek nearly trips up the stairs, but keeps walking. He had been avoiding that word, even within the confines of his own mind. Maybe Avery could tell. ‘Look at me that way’, of course Avery noticed he was evading the word. Derek was never the best when it came to these things. He’s had a very small romantic history, struggling to really understand why people would love him. He believed in his abilities. His knowledge and his strength. He didn’t really know if the man beneath that was a lovable figure.
“Can you explain why?” He poses, which he thinks is a fair question. If Avery loves him, he’d have reasons for it. He doubts that the slime would be able to place those reasons, though, and then Avery would likely say something along the lines of ‘huh, I guess I don’t’, and then Derek wouldn’t have to trifle with his own feelings. He glances at the slime again, his heart clenching in his chest.
He hopes Avery can at least list something.
There’s a moment of silence, contemplation. For a moment Derek feels as if Avery really will just give up. He awaits Avery with bated breath, chewing on his lower lip.
“You are so much, Derek.” He begins, and there’s something so fond and tender about the way Avery speaks his name he struggles to breathe even then. “You saved me time and time again, and you never really got a big head about it. You pushed through all of these complicated puzzles, which is just plain impressive. You tried to shield me from.. everything. Down the knowledge of what you’d be going through, which wasn’t something that would save the world. You just did that for me.” He trails on and on, not a single break from the moment he begins speaking.
Derek almost wants to speak in protest, but there’s nothing to deny. He wants to say Avery doesn’t know him, but for some reason he can’t. He wants to do something.
They breach the surface. The hot sun beats down upon the both of them, surrounding the mineshaft entrance is simply a field of flowers and sparse trees. He watches a bee glide down to a flower before returning to its hive. There’s a herd of sheep in the distance, traveling together. Eating grass peacefully. He manages to finally look at Avery.
“Is that enough of an explanation?” The slime asks, grinning at him. He’s so.. confident in it. He truly means it all and it’s obvious, not that he believes Avery is capable of lying in this way. Derek was the liar.
“I lied to you.” It slips out unintentionally, as sudden as a sneeze.
“You lied because you wanted to keep me safe, I’m not that dumb. There was a lot at stake, I know. I knew from the beginning, I just.. couldn’t stand to see you face it alone.” He clears up Derek’s statement so easily. He doesn’t even seem bothered, just lost in thought.
“You’ve seen a lot of me, but do you really believe it’s enough to love me?” The next question he presses isn’t as sudden as the first. Yet, it still feels out of his own volition. Impulsive. He’s always been straight forward, to the point. He struggles not to be, it was difficult enough to lie to Avery. Even then.. it came easily to do so, as long as it’d keep him safe.
Avery laughs at the question, leaving Derek stunned if not a little angry.
“Ave-“ He starts, but Avery interrupts him.
“The truth is, I don’t know, but I do know I feel strongly enough to want to know more of you.” He says, smiling. Unknowing and unsure, yet smiling still. That same blinding smile. Derek feels as if his heart is going to stop, which is strange. During all the time in these past days, he constantly felt like his brain was going to explode but his heart felt fine. Now though.. his heart feels like it could pop. He’s rendered speechless again, by this honestly kinda childish guy. Avery is stubborn, yet it adds to his determination. He’s naive, but it renders him endlessly kind. He’s emotional, but it only makes him more genuine.
“You’re amazing.” Derek mutters, hardly even a whisper.
“Huh?” Avery leans in closer to him, curious. Derek wasn’t intending to speak that out loud, so he’s grateful Avery didn’t truly catch it. He hopes his next words do come out more audible though.
“Can I kiss you again?”
Avery’s face flushes as he leans back, flustered. Derek likes the way that his face turns a pretty teal color. He’s never really met a person like Avery, but he’s so charmed by every little unique trait he has. Instead of a verbal answer, Avery nods feverishly. It’s a bit silly, but it’s more to love. Love. He steps closer to Derek whilst the knight follows suit. Derek’s eyes flutter closed when he leans in with a tilt of his head. It’s far nicer to be able to kiss the other with his head far more stabilized. Sure there’s a twinge of pain occasionally, but it’s nothing compared to what he dealt with, and it’s genuinely a walk in the park compared to what he felt when he dissolved the king.
The slime’s lips are plush and soft. Kind of cold like the rest of Avery’s body, but Derek couldn’t bring himself to mind. He hears his helmet drop to the ground when Avery wraps his arms around the knight’s waist, but Derek doesn’t mind. He allows his hand to travel up, toying in the slime’s oddly silky hair. The strands are thicker than that of human hair and kind of stretchy, which is.. fun. When he presses his tongue to the other’s lips, Avery opens to him without tension. Compared to the outside of his body, the inside of Avery’s mouth is a cave of heat. He hums, pleased by it.
He’s not sure if before now he’d call slime a pleasurable texture or taste, but he’s quickly growing fond of it. Avery’s tongue explores his mouth, oddly long. He’s surprised he didn’t notice how dexterous the other’s tongue was before, but he was also a bit occupied with other things. He shudders. He shouldn’t be thinking too much about the acts Avery could do, but it’s not his fault. He’s not used to his mind being this.. empty. Easy to wander through and with.
Before he gets carried away he pulls back from the kiss, a strand of slime connecting their lips. Avery stares into his eyes, but flinches a bit when the strand snaps and falls back against the bottom of his chin. Derek huffs out a laugh before wiping it away with the back of his hand.
“Do you have a base?” He asks, toying with the hair on the back of Avery’s head.
“Yeah, I’d be glad to take you there.”
Avery’s base is a long walk east of the mineshaft sight. He’s glad it’s so far away, because at least then he knows it’ll be easy to avoid. It’s a strange location, but there's no reason to really be shocked it’s on an island in the middle of a swamp.
“Here we are!” Avery chimes as they step onto the bridge leading to his shack of a home. It’s a simple build. Spruce building, ferns out front, a stone roof, double doors.. to anyone else it wouldn’t be anything special. To Derek, it screams Avery. The simplicity of it all with silly extra details that only a slime would add. “I’ll have to make a bed for you and um.. maybe rearrange a little bit, but don’t worry it shouldn’t take long.” He says, carefree.
If Avery tells him not to worry.. then, he supposes he’ll do just that.
The interior is very cozy already, but Derek watches Avery move chests down a staircase into an unfurnished basement. Ah, he understands what the guy means by rearranging now. Avery seems surprised when he catches Derek hauling a chest down into the basement, but doesn’t comment and just smiles at him. Derek feels a sense of pride well up in his chest at that. He’d do just about anything to keep that smile on the slime’s face, he’s sure.
Avery doesn’t have too much for storage, which is to be expected. This was the early beginnings of this world before.. Everything happened. It only makes setting up the new basement storage easier. While Avery shifts furniture and spruces the place up upstairs, Derek replaces the stone walls with wooden ones and adds lanterns. He hopes he’s not cutting into Avery’s minimal iron supply too much. If anything he’ll go mining for him. By the time he’s finished the walls and floors, Avery is calling down to him from upstairs.
“Derek! C’mere, I want you to see it!” He sounds excited, proud. The knight could never deny him that.
He makes the short walk up the stairs before he takes view of what originally was a storage area. There’s a table atop a carpet in the center of the room with a candle in the center of it. It has two chairs on either side and in place of the chests, there’s now a painting on the wall. Besides it is a shelf with.. his helmet. He considers grabbing it right then, but maybe it’ll be better off as decoration. He notices an armor stand right beside it, an open invitation.
Before he takes it, he looks over at Avery. The slime isn’t even looking at him, just staring at the furnished dining room. “I didn’t really need one before, but I figured it would be nice to have.” He grins. He then finally looks over at Derek. “Oh, I also placed your bed over in my room. Hope you don’t mind.” He seems a bit nervous, as if Derek would want anything else. To settle the other’s nerves, Derek chooses an indirect way of saying he doesn’t mind.
“I was actually about to ask if it could be placed there.” He says casually as he walks over to the armor stand, removing his gauntlets from his hands. He doesn’t see Avery’s reaction, but he does hear a sigh of relief which is good enough for him. He places each bit of his armor onto the stand, feeling quite light afterwards. It leaves him in just a form fitting black long sleeve and pants. He feels awkward and kind of naked without the armor despite the undergarments, but maybe that’s just because of how plain it is. He’s sure he could borrow something from Avery, if it wouldn’t be a crazy ask.
He notices only now how silent the slime has been. The chatterbox had been talking to him the entire way here and while they were organizing. He turns his head to look towards the slime, and he’s just. staring. He grins, turning his full body to face Avery.
“No one told you it was rude to stare?” Confidence exudes from him as he speaks, real confidence this time around. Not confidence to make Avery feel safe, nor to scare the king. Just real confidence. Avery just smiles at him.
“Nah.” He laughs, stepping closer to Derek. He fidgets with his hands before bringing one up to lightly chew on his thumbnail before simply resting the knuckle of his pointer on his bottom lip. Derek’s unsure if it’s unintentional, but he looks so flirty. “You just look so good, man. Not my fault.” He lilts with a sweet tilt of his head, slimy locks following.
Oh. So it is intentional.
“I should’ve anticipated you undressing me with your eyes.” He sighs, rolling his eyes playfully. He moves closer to Avery, looking down at the slime as he approaches. Maybe Avery had taken the lead previously, but Derek wasn’t going to be teased. He knows Avery is intimidated by him, he’s not blind. When he gets even closer, Avery moves back almost unconsciously. “Avery..” He murmurs the other’s name, watching how the other’s grin shifts into more of a nervous smile on his blush covered face.
He moves swiftly, capturing the other by the hips before he can move away again and pressing the slime against the table he had just set up. Avery stumbles as he’s manhandled, his hands landing on the table behind him. “D-Derek.” He stammers, any other words seeming beyond him.
Derek’s eyes wander down the other’s torso and back up to those deep green round eyes. His features are so soft, but he’s figured out by now what’s lingering behind them. No naive or innocent man could think to make him quite literally cum his brains out when he was an inch away from death. His initial perspective of Avery might’ve shoved him, done something kooky, but no. He chose a very different route. Derek moves his hands from the other’s waist to beneath his thighs, lifting him up and setting the slime man on the table. Likely more comfortable.
“You must be real proud of yourself, huh?” He purrs, leaning over Avery and forcing the other to lean back. The slime seems rendered speechless, but he continues. “This is exactly what you were hoping for, wasn’t it? Don’t need endless knowledge to figure that out.” He teases, staring directly into the slime’s eyes.
Avery shivers, biting his lip. He stares right back through Derek for nothing more than a minute before all the fight within him seems to dissipate, shoulders sagging as he looks away as if the knight’s eyes are searing him. “M-Man, are you gonna kiss me or not..” He mumbles, embarrassment so obvious on his face Derek has to stop himself from laughing. He stifles a sound, Avery’s ego already wounded by even the hint of laughter. He shrinks back further, but Derek coaxes him back.
“Oh Avery, c’mere.” He cooes, placing a hand on the other’s chin to guide his face back towards him. Even then, Avery’s eyes remain averted. He feigns annoyance with a sigh before continuing. “Ya gotta look at me if you wanna kiss me, Aves..” He chuckles, unable to stop himself.
Avery flinches at the sound, letting out a whine. Before the knight can make an attempt at damage control, the slime does actually listen. His eyes don’t look immediately, traveling down in front of him before warily looking up at Derek. Oh the sight is precious, he can’t even bring himself to tease. His sweet boy worked so hard, he can’t deny him any longer. Nor can he deny himself. Avery’s arms lock around his neck as he captures the slime in a kiss again. He hums softly, exploring the other’s mouth yet again.
Despite how embarrassed Avery seemed to behave before, the other relaxes very quickly and becomes quite adventurous. Tears prick at Derek’s eyes as he feels the other’s long tongue flick at the back of his throat, his gag reflex triggering. He pulls back, panting. Avery’s wide eyes stare at him. “Uh, too much?” The other asks, unable to muster a grin this time around.
Derek shakes his head, licking his lips. “No, I.. I like it, just take it slow.” He murmurs as he leans forward again. Avery nods in an almost determined manner before his eyes close. Derek focuses on allowing his hands to wander along the other’s waist as Avery’s tongue swirls around his own. He shifts his thighs as blood rushes downward. He might’ve lied by omission, because he way more than likes whatever Avery has goin’ on with his tongue.
He moans into the other’s mouth as the slime’s tongue gently presses on the back of his own, shuddering. He slips his hands under Avery’s shirt as he attempts to suppress his urge to gag. He’s done it before, he just has to relax. He physically wills his body to relax as he pulls Avery’s torso closer to his. The cool feeling of the slime’s body pressed against him is actually quite pleasant when he’s feeling this warm. His eyes water when Avery’s tongue slips further down his throat, filling it. How stretchy is his damn tongue anyways?
His sounds are muffled, but present. He grinds his crotch against the slime’s body, quivering with anticipation. This experience is surreal and unlike any other, and he’s living for it. The other’s tongue pulls back before pressing in again, which finally causes his throat to convulse. Instead of pulling back, Avery grips his hand tussled in Derek’s curly hair and keeps him in place. The knight’s mind is getting fuzzy with the lack of air, but his dick has absolutely no complaints.
He squeezes the slime’s body in his hands, loving how plush the other feels. He’s so perfect, so damn perfect and the other’s tongue is driving him crazy. He just needs more, his dick is aching for more. Straining in his pants. He pulls away and Avery finally allows him oxygen. Drool drips down his chin as he pants heavily, vision dark before it returns to him. “Aves..” He breathes out before swallowing. Avery is staring at him with lidded eyes, tongue poking over his lips as he breathes with an open mouth.
“I want..” He can barely bring himself to say it, but he’s so hard it hurts. “I wanna fuck you so bad.. please.” He presses the other further down and Avery simply lays back against the table, knocking the unlit candles out of the way. Neither of them pay the items any mind. He presses the other’s shirt up, revealing soft green skin. There’s a translucence to his body that is even stronger than his face. It’s so fascinating to be able to see the wood grain of the table through the slime. Avery’s hands follow Derek’s, grabbing the knight’s wrist before dragging them back downward.
“I’ve been waiting for you to ask..” He says, a slight grin pulling at his lips. Derek wastes no time unbuckling the other’s belt, already familiarized with it. He pulls it out from the loop before pulling the slime’s shorts clean off of him. The other’s hips lift as he tugs them up, but Avery doesn’t resist one bit, kicking them off when they reach his feet, sandals coming off with them. He then quickly shuffles his pants off, leaving the both of them in their tops and boxers. The two of them make quick work of their undergarments, more than what even the word eager can describe. Desperate couldn’t even match their combined feelings.
His dick twitches as it’s revealed to the air, but despite his previous rush he knows he has to slow down. “Open your mouth, Avery.” He murmurs softly, bringing a hand to hold the other’s face. Avery has a look of apprehension before he obeys the orders without added questioning. The knight presses his fingers into the slime’s mouth, coating them thoroughly before pulling them out. “You need me to take it slow?” He asks as he moves his newly slicked fingers down to the other’s puckering hole.
“Derek I’m gonna die if your cock ain’t inside me within the next five minutes I swear to god, man.” He whines, reaching a hand up to grab Derek’s shoulder. The knight laughs at the slime’s forthright words, but listens nonetheless. He’s careful as he presses a finger in, but finds that the slime has far more give than he anticipated. Hm, that does make sense, doesn’t it? He wastes no time pushing a second in, watching Avery’s face closely. He watches as the other’s eyes flutter close, a small gasp escaping his mouth. His insides are hotter than his mouth was, making Derek’s stomach flutter. He doesn’t want to rush, but he’s struggling to keep it together.
He experimentally moves the fingers before spreading them apart inside the slime and watching him whimper almost inaudibly. He pushes in a third finger, searching. He curls his fingers, a grin plastering itself on his face when Avery’s body jolts.
“Hnngg..,” The slime groans, hiding his face in his hands. Derek decides he’ll allow that for now, but he’ll need to witness the other later. He moves the three fingers, pressing them into the spot that earns all those gorgeous noises from Avery before finally pulling them out.
The slime’s eyes flutter open, peeking through his fingers up at Derek to watch. Derek reaches up with his left hand, his clean one, to hold one of Avery’s hands as he uses his right to align himself with the slime’s twitching rim. “You ready?” He asks one more time, and Avery only nods multiple times in quick succession.
Derek groans deep in his throat as he presses himself into the slime, the other’s warmth enveloping his dick fluidly. He feels amazing. “Oh Avery..” He gasps with closed eyes, his hand holding tighter to the other’s. When he opens his eyes Avery is covering the lower half of his face with his hand, but Derek can’t let that persist. He wipes his right hand off on his shirt to the best of his ability before grabbing Avery’s other hand. He interlocks their fingers as he pushes all the way inside the other.
Avery mewls, thighs quivering. “Ohh.. mmh, please.” He moans, staring up at Derek through his eyelashes. “Y-You’re so..” He trails off, tilting his head to the side. His chest rises and falls heavily with each breath he takes, sweat running down the side of his face. Derek can’t help his curiosity.
“I’m so?..” He murmurs.
“B-Big..” Avery manages to confess, eyes flickering to Derek’s face and away again. Derek tries not to let the comment get to his head, instead focusing on the slime who is shaking beneath him. He leans down, close to the other’s ear.
“You’re taking it so well, Aves..” He cooes, pressing a soft kiss to the other’s neck. He continues to pepper the other’s neck with kisses until he seems to finally relax, body settling. He smiles down at Avery before pressing his lips to the other’s once more. Nothing more than a chaste kiss at first, but the other chases him.
He presses the other’s hands to the table beneath him as he slowly pulls his hips back before rocking back in. Avery’s lips part in a gasp that he easily takes advantage of, licking at the other’s tongue. He presses his chest to Avery's, allowing the other to feel his body heat. They’re so close and Derek wouldn’t have it any other way. Chests pressed together. Fingers and mouths interlocked. His length nestled right up against the other’s prostate.
Avery whines into his mouth when Derek shallowly rocks his hips, music to the knight’s ears. He wastes no time increasing the speed of his thrusts, dragging further out before he fills the other again. He pays no mind to the slick sounds that fill the room, focusing on the feeling of how the slime tightens around him every time he delves further into their kiss. It’s addicting, the way the other is. Avery’s tight warmth feels so good around his dick, he struggles to hold back.
He feels the other murmur something against his lips, but it’s incomprehensible. When he lifts his head, their lips still connected by Avery’s slime, the other breaths out odd semblances of attempted words a few times before he truly speaks. “Faster.. More, Der’ please..” He pleads, voice wavering. He sounded so good when he begged and Derek already knew the other was very persuasive. He was overly familiar with how convincing the other was, always so certain. So raw and honest.
His eyes are wet with tears, his entire face so beautifully flushed. The knight would pledge his entire life to him if he had the chance. “Anything for you, Avery.”
He can’t bear to muffle the other’s sounds any longer so when he begins to speed up his thrusts he buries his face in the other’s neck to get a nice earful. It’s more than worth it if he does say so himself. The slime babbles aimless words through free moans, far more vocal than the knight himself usually was. He slams into the other relentlessly, animalistic grunts escaping him. Ironic considering he’s not the inhuman one.
He clutches the other’s hands tighter, adoring the feeling of the slime’s fingers interlocked with his. It’s grounding, safe, and vulnerable. Avery’s clutching him for dear life, so hard he wouldn’t be surprised if his hands ached afterwards. Midway through the unintelligible words the slime speaks, he catches something. “Ah- mmy knight..” The words come out slurred, more of a sob of a noise than anything, but with Avery in his ear he hears it so clearly.
His knight? His heart skips in his chest, the name traveling like electricity straight to his dick. “Your knight..” He breathes the words unconsciously into Avery’s neck as he pushes deeper into the other. The slime whines at that, speaking the name louder in response. Derek’s entire body shudders, hips stuttering. There’s no way he's gonna last at this rate, but given how Avery sounds he’s not sure the slime is either. Each thrust is sending sparks of pleasure through his body and he has to fight to not let his knees give out. He can’t, not when it feels this good.
“Aves, I'm ggonna..” The words barely escape his mouth, just choked out noises besides breathy moans. The slime tightens around him again, sending his mind into a daze. Avery is gonna kill him at this rate.
“Me too,” The slime confesses, voice trembling. He feels the other's legs lock around his waist, pulling him in deeper. He lifts his head to get another good look at the slime’s face as his body reaches its edge, just barely teetering on release. This really is love, isn’t it. There’s nothing else that could possibly describe how full his heart feels when he stares at the other. He can’t believe he ever doubted it. The face Avery makes when he cums is more than enough to drag Derek over the edge, he’s so pretty when he’s falling apart.
Derek lets out a sob of a sound when he finishes, overwhelmed with the feeling of his orgasm. He shallowly rocks his hips a few more times as he rides out his finish, mouth open in a choked noise that doesn’t flow past his throat before he finally relaxes. His hands, once holding the slime’s hands so tightly loosens as he practically collapses onto the other. His face is once again buried into the other's neck, the only sound remaining between them the sound of panting.
Time passes, seconds or minutes, before Derek speaks again. “Your knight?” He murmurs teasingly into the slime’s ear, chuckling at how the other tenses. He doesn’t see the other’s face, but he doesn’t have to.
“What about it, man?” Avery huffs, outright pouting. He sounds kinda funny when he’s trying to be sassy, it’s charming.
“Nothing at all, my prince. Not a thing.”
