Koby-Meppo's Loguetown Date

Summary:

Find out what Koby and Helmeppo do during a rare day off in Loguetown.

Work Text:

Koby and Helmeppo followed Tashigi out into the market in Loguetown, but she stopped and turned to them.

"Oh, know I forgot my...my," she stammered, "I'll be right back."

She rushed off in the direction Captain Smoker and Garp had gone.

"She's definitely going to eavesdrop on them," Koby said.

"Well, you would know," Helmeppo chuckled.

"What's that supposed to mean?"

Helmeppo guffawed, "You don't see it? I thought it would be like looking in a funhouse mirror."

"What her?" Koby said skeptically, "We look nothing alike."

"I mean, colored hair, glasses, but no, it's not about looks but energy. You give off the same vibes."

"Do not," Koby said, storming off in almost the exact same way Tashigi did.

Helmeppo laughed again, following the pink-haired boy. He caught up and said, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you."

"It's not that. I just don't see it."

"I know, that's why it's so funny," Helmeppo said, patting him on the lower back.

Koby didn't say anything, just kept walking with a pout on his face.

Helmeppo sighed and grabbed Koby's hand, "Come on, babe, we don't get time off often-"

Koby pulled his hand away, "We are on duty!"

"Garp just said to expand our horizons," Helmeppo pleaded.

"We are still in uniform, we still have to uphold the values and standards of-"

"You get to customize your uniform once you are promoted to Petty Officer, which for you could be any day now. Don't you want to do some shopping while we can?"

"For what?"

"New pants, maybe? A shirt that's not white? Or maybe some new shoes? Mine are starting to wear out."

"We get new shoes at supply."

"I meant off base, from a specialty shop. Treat yourself."

"I don't-"

Helmeppo grabbed Koby's tie and pulled him closer, "You deserve this. Let's do something."

Koby looked away. Helmeppo knew he had won.

"Alright, fine," Koby relented, "but we are going to a respectable place."

"Of course," Helmeppo grinned, "Now, where do you want to go?"

Koby looked around. He didn't know. He'd never had money to spend, let alone on himself. He had never even been to a town like Loguetown before. Everything was so bright and full of life.

"What about that one?" Helmeppo said, pointing to a shop called 'Robecca Hanberg.'

"I...I suppose."

The shop was nice. The walls were lined with suits of all different colors and fabrics. There were also hats, shoes, and accessories, like canes and gloves.

"Welcome," a man with a coat-hanger haircut said from behind the counter, "How may I help you two gentlemen?"

"Just browsing," Helmeppo said, already looking through a rack of coats.

"Of course. Let me know if you need anything."

The man seemed kind, and Koby felt a little more at ease. He started to look around, but he still felt out of place. Everything was so expensive. He couldn't imagine spending this much on a single piece of clothing.

"What do you think of this?" Helmeppo asked, holding up a green vest, purple pants, and purple shoes with yellow spots.

"It's...nice."

"I'm going to try it on."

Helmeppo disappeared into a dressing room, and Koby was left alone. He looked at a display of colorful bandanas. He looked at one that was yellow with purple flowers.

"Koby, could you give me a hand in here? This vest is tricky."

Koby put down the bandana and walked over to the dressing room.

"What's the problem?"

"This vest is tricky. I can't get it on."

"Let me see."

Koby stepped inside the small room. Helmeppo was standing there in just his pants, the vest held loosely in front of his chest. The small space suddenly felt even smaller.

"Here," Koby said, his fingers brushing against Helmeppo's bare skin as he took the vest, "Just put your arms through."

He helped Helmeppo into the garment, their movements clumsy in the confined space. As Koby pulled the fabric up over Helmeppo's shoulders, his knuckles grazed the fine hairs at the nape of Helmeppo's neck. A shiver ran through Helmeppo, and he turned slightly, his face inches from Koby's.

"Thanks," Helmeppo whispered, his breath warm against Koby's cheek.

Koby's heart hammered against his ribs. He could feel the heat rising in his face, a blush he hoped was hidden by the dim lighting of the dressing room. He should step back, create some distance, but his feet seemed rooted to the spot.

"How does it look?" Helmeppo asked, turning to face the mirror.

The purple and green were atrocious, a crime against fashion itself, but on Helmeppo, with his easy confidence and bright smile, it almost worked. Almost.

"It's...bold," Koby managed, "With a crisp white shirt under it, I think it could work."

"A shirt, right. I should probably try one on too." Helmeppo unbuttoned his vest, giving Koby a full look at his chest.

Koby turned away.

Helmeppo put his bare arms around Koby and nibbled on his earlobe, "What do you think?"

"We can't do this here," Koby whispered.

"Why not?"

"We're in public! In a shop!"

"Then I guess we'll have to be quiet. We've had plenty of practice on the ship with Bogard always skulking around."

"But-"

"Please, Koby," Helmeppo whispered, pressing a gentle kiss to the curve where Koby's neck met his shoulder, "We never get a moment to ourselves."

Every rational thought in Koby's mind screamed at him to stop this, to push Helmeppo away and march out of the shop with whatever shred of dignity he had left. But the warmth of Helmeppo's body against his, the familiar scent of his hair, the soft pressure of his lips—it was more than he could resist.

"We have to be quick," he breathed, turning in Helmeppo's embrace.

Helmeppo undid Koby's belt and set his sword aside, careful to place it on the bench. He grabbed Koby's handkerchief and pulled it from the collar, letting it fall to the floor. He then began to undo the buttons of Koby's shirt. Once he got the shirt off, he took a moment to look. He'd seen Koby's chest before, but not like this. The lighting and the small space made it more intimate.

He ran a finger down the center of Koby's chest.

"You're beautiful," Helmeppo said.

Koby shivered, "Don't say that."

"But it's true. You are."

Koby looked away, and Helmeppo tipped his chin up, forcing eye contact.

"You are," Helmeppo repeated, leaning in for a kiss.

It started soft and gentle, familiar lips and tongues. But as Helmeppo's hands roamed over Koby's back, pulling him closer, the kiss deepened, growing more urgent. Koby responded, his hands tangling in Helmeppo's hair, pulling him closer.

Outside, the muffled sounds of the shop continued. A bell chiming as someone entered, the distant murmur of conversation, but inside there was only the sound of their breathing, the rustle of fabric, and sighs of pleasure.

Helmeppo's lips trailed from Koby's mouth down his jawline to his neck. He nipped at the sensitive skin just above Koby's collarbone, followed by a sharp intake of breath.

His hands moved lower, tracing the waistband of Koby's pants before deftly undoing the button and zipper. Koby's breath hitched as Helmeppo's fingers brushed against him, teasing through the thin fabric of his underwear.

The small dressing room suddenly felt even more confining, the walls closing in around them. Every touch was magnified, every sensation heightened. Koby's head fell back against the wall with a soft thud as Helmeppo's hands grew bolder, his touch more deliberate.

A soft moan escaped Koby's lips, and he quickly bit down on it, remembering where they were. But Helmeppo heard it, and a wicked grin spread across his face as he looked up at Koby.

"Shhh," he murmured against Koby's skin, his hands never ceasing their movement, "We wouldn't want to get caught, would we?"

The thought should have been terrifying, but instead, it sent a jolt of excitement through Koby. The risk of discovery, the illicit thrill of what they were doing—it was intoxicating.

Helmeppo slipped his hands inside Koby's pants, and Koby's hips bucked involuntarily at the direct contact. His hands clenched into fists at his sides, fighting the urge to cry out as pleasure washed over him in waves.

"Helmeppo," he gasped, the name a desperate plea.

"I've got you," Helmeppo whispered, his movements becoming more confident. He knew exactly what Koby liked, exactly how to touch him to drive him wild.

He stuck his fingers deep inside Koby, curling them to hit that spot that made Koby see stars. Koby's vision blurred as pleasure overwhelmed him, and he had to bite down on his knuckles to stifle a cry.

He pulled out and unbuttoned his own pants.

"Are you ready?" Helmeppo whispered.

Koby could only nod, words failing him as he lost himself to sensation.

Helmeppo entered him with a slow, deliberate thrust, filling him completely. The initial burn was quickly replaced by a deep, throbbing pleasure that resonated through Koby's entire body.

He started to move, setting a rhythm that was both punishing and exhilarating. Their bodies moved together. The sounds of their lovemaking were soft and muffled, but inside every nerve was screaming.

With a final, deep thrust, Helmeppo sent Koby over the edge. Koby grunted, his body trembling with the force of his orgasm. Fluid dripped down his legs.

They stayed like that for a moment, bodies pressed together, breathing ragged, the aftermath of their shared pleasure hanging between them. The world outside slowly came back into focus—the distant sounds of the shop, the uncomfortable position they were in.

Helmeppo pulled out gently and kissed Koby's forehead.

"Wow," he whispered.

Koby could only nod in agreement as he knelt down in front of Helmeppo. He took Helmeppo’s cock in his mouth and began to move. Helmeppo's hands tangled in Koby's hair, guiding him.

Koby could taste himself on Helmeppo, a reminder of what they had just shared. He moved faster, taking Helmeppo deeper, determined to give him the same pleasure he had just received.

Helmeppo's hips began to thrust, meeting Koby's movements. His breathing grew ragged, and Koby knew he was close.

With a final, desperate cry that was quickly stifled, Helmeppo found his release. Koby swallowed, taking everything Helmeppo had to give.

They dressed in silence, the comfortable quiet of two people who knew each other intimately. As they smoothed their uniforms, a sense of reality began to creep back in. Koby's face burned with shame. They were still Marines, still on duty. What if someone had heard?

Helmeppo seemed to read his thoughts. He took Koby's hand and squeezed it reassuringly.

"It's okay," he said softly, "No one knows."

They emerged from the dressing room, trying to act casual. The shopkeeper was busy with another customer, a woman looking at a large hat with a feather on it. He glanced at them and gave them a brief nod before turning his attention back to the woman.

Koby kept his head down, avoiding eye contact, convinced that everyone in the shop knew what they had done. He could feel the heat rising in his cheeks, and he wished he could disappear.

Helmeppo, on the other hand, seemed completely unfazed. He walked over to the checkout and had everything boxed up except for the shoes, which he decided to wear out of the store.

"I'm going to have them send my clothes to the ship. Are you getting anything?"

"Just this," Koby mumbled, laying down the bandana.

"Big spender, aren't you?" Helmeppo teased, "I'm sure you'll get plenty of use out of it."

He winked at Koby, who felt his blush deepen. He just wanted to get out of there.

After they paid, they left the shop and stepped back out into the bright sunlight of Loguetown. The market was bustling, and for a moment, Koby felt overwhelmed by the noise and the crowd.

Helmeppo grabbed his hand, pulling him through the throng.

"Come on," he said, "I saw a game over here."

They came to a large retention pond where they had set up a shoot-the-pirate-ship game.

"This looks fun," Helmeppo said, walking over to the man running it, "Two, please."

"One for you, and one for your boyfriend?" the man said, filling up two buckets.

Helmeppo didn't even flinch, "Yep."

Koby smiled despite himself.

"Which color would you prefer?" the man said, handing him a bucket of blue balls and pink balls.

"Pink," Helmeppo said, grabbing the bucket from the man's hands, and glancing at Koby, "I love pink."
