Cassandra Wayne adjusted the bag’s strap on her shoulder. Her body locked slightly in place the moment she was able to see the blonde in the field of vision.
Stephanie Brown was leaning against the wall, smiling while talking to an acquaintance from the arts building. Her hair was in a ponytail with a loose strand on each side of her face, in addition to her median bangs divided into three parts so that her vision would not be compromised.
The light makeup she always used to enhance her beauty - as if she needed it, Cass thought. - and a gloss that gave color to her lips. She wore a purple tank top, dark jeans with rhinestone designs. The usual shiny belt to match your accessories. Hers purple sneakers also stood out in the look.
Cass sighed and looked discreetly at herself. A wide black shirt that belonged to one of hers brothers and wide pants of the same color and a black and dull shoe, although it was expensive. Her short black hair was aligned at least.
Her chains were on her neck that she took from Dick that she was sure he had stolen from Tim.
Ah, siblings…
She walked as fast as she could down the corridor, with her head down, vehemently ignoring the blonde.
Whether Stephanie had been looking at her or not, Cass didn’t care. Although she did care, yes, she didn’t want to look back because she ran away, trying to make her heart beat again in its natural calm rhythm. As soon as she saw herself far enough, she leaned against a wall and took a deep breath.
— Running away from the Devil again, sis?
She jumped with Jason’s ridiculously loud voice. She rolled her eyes at him and went on her way, intending to change clothes before classes started.
Jason kept following her.
— So, what did the blonde do today? Did he growl at you? — he raised an eyebrow to which a funny smile appeared on his face, implying the fact that his twin always acted strange when she saw Stephanie.
Cass missed when he was a quiet and shy little boy. Before Dick Grayson contaminated him with his mischief.
— Shouldn’t you be on the other side of the campus, Jase?
Jason shrugged.
— I wanted to stop by to see how my little sister was doing.
As if they hadn’t had breakfast together.
— “Little sister”? I’m older than you, Jay. — she said already tired of the discussion that had lasted like, ever.
— For two minutes.
— I’m still the oldest.
— Whatever. Did you talk to Timmy? He missed the game night. Again. — the night of the Wayne brothers’ games that they always did monthly so as not to lose contact.
Besides Dick, Tim was the only one who no longer lived in the Wayne mansion. And Jason would die before admitting that he was missing Tim and worried about how he was doing living alone in another state. But everyone felt very proud of their brother for having passed at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology)
Cass also missed her brother every day at the mansion, but Jason was always more emotional than her. — I didn’t, Jay, but I’ll let you know if I talk to him.
Jason nodded and turned around, returning his path.
Cassandra continued her way through the arts building. She entered the familiar room of the practice room, took off her sweatshirt and looked at herself in the mirror. The black tank top was not as beautiful in itself as it was in Stephanie.
Her straight hip and not very thin waist, her small breasts were a contrast not far from beautiful to see how it was in Stephanie and her guitar body. She had always been called more masculine, both for her clothes and hair and for her closed and abrupt way because of the creation without a female figure nearby.
Well, she had Babs, Dick’s friend and long-time family. She helped her in the most crucial parts of her life, such as her first menstruation and teenage insecurities. But for the most part she was busy with her life as a young adult and Cass didn’t want to bother her.
But other than that, it was always her, her four brothers, her father and Alfred.
It was lonely.
Until she found Stephanie.
It was the beginning of a new semester. Cass was starting his second period in college. Jason was always anxious and made her arrive early at college. She was half hidden on a bench under a tree, headphones connected in a performance of a dance group that she liked to follow.
She saw the moment the blonde arrived, completely different from everyone she had ever seen in her life. Not even in the elegant elitist heartthrobs that her father gave, she had seen such a beautiful girl.
She was tall.
She stood out.
Cass was the kind of girl who used to go unnoticed, always trying to be invisible. Growing up with the weight of her last name on her back was always exhausting, although her father did everything to keep them as discreet as possible.
The first thing she noticed when she had the opportunity to see her up close was her blue eyes like the sky of a summer day. And his first thought was: “how I would like to have eyes like that”.
Everyone in her family’s manor had blue eyes. With the exception of Damian, but he had his mother’s beautiful green eyes. And she had those almond-shaped eyes that always made her look disinterested and with a closed face.
Even her’s twin brother, Jason, had blue eyes. And she doesn’t.
But Stephanie had those eyes. And it seemed unfair that she was so perfect.
Sua segunda impressão de Stephanie, foi quando descobriu o curso que ela fazia. Enfermagem.
Well, Dick used to say that it was the course that people who failed in medicine took. Sometimes he said nonsense like that. She was pretty sure she heard him say that years ago when she was little and didn’t remember if it was some kind of joke. But she had that in her head. Analyzing from afar.
The third time, that was when she started walking with Jason through the other campuses. Specifically that of the health area.
Some friends Jason had made and he wanted to include his twin in the group. To his sadness, Cass did not feel comfortable with the affairs of the girls in the group that consisted of talking about other people’s lives.
— That novice in nursing. What’s her name again? — one of the girls said.
— Stella, Stefhania or something like that — she said with apparent disgust. Cass stirred, between the curiosity to know what they would say about the girl.
— Stephanie. — Cass intruded.
— Yeah, that’s it. She’s so annoying. See how she keeps trying to get along with anyone who pays attention on her. Sooo desperate.
- Pathetic.
Cassandra could feel that behind that contempt, there was a bitterness of envy. Because those girls were even beautiful, but Stephanie was more.
She was prettier and nicer.
Cass liked to imagine herself being Stephanie’s friend, but she knew she would never look at her.
And she left her thoughts with the voice of the practical class teacher, having finished taking off her second outfit to stay with the leotard and her dance costume.
She put herself in position at the command of the teacher.
ੈ✩‧₊˚༺「 ✦ HER WAY ✦ 」༻*ੈ✩‧₊
Putting on hers sneakers again, Cass said goodbye to his classmates with a wave and a low “bye”. She sighed because of the tiredness.
She had just over an hour free before the next class. She took her cell phone after cleaning a drop of sweat that ran down her forehead.
A single message, from Jason, warning that he was released earlier and that he would wait for her if she wanted to. She replied that it would take a while and that he could go. That she would send a message to him to pick her up later.
They used to go out of the mansion together, but the schedules didn’t always add up. They even tried to go each in a separate vehicle, only to get scolded by their father for betting race on the deserted road.
She went to the university’s restaurant and asked for a snack. A lot of nonsense to increase her’s energy so she could endure the long three hours of theoretical class she would have in the next few hours.
He sighed after settling at a table away from the few people there. It would be another long day.

She could almost see Jason rolling his eyes on the cell phone screen.
She snorted a tender smile and opened her can of energy drink (Tim's favorite).
The rest of the time in college passed gradually as always, luckily she was in love with her course so the classes always seemed to be worth it.
Jason estava esperando, como prometido. Ela entrou no banco do passageiro enquanto acenou para Damian.
— Hey.
— Hey. — He replied, taking his eyes off his cell phone for a second and returning to focus on the device.
Cass turned to put on his belt and saw Steph from afar, beautiful as always and with that confident walk. She saw Steph look at the car briefly.
Cass looked away immediately, as if she had been caught, even if the glasses had insulfilm.
Jason started with the car, the radio playing softly some punk band.
— Has Cass already talked to her crush?
Cass immediately turned red with Damian’s suggestion, but before she could hit back, Jason spoke on top.
— She’s very shy, she must be waiting for the blonde to call her out first.
Cass slapped Jason’s arm who just laughed.
— She’s not my crush!
— Mom says you show signs that you’re in love.
— Did you tell Talia?? — Damian raised his hands, declaring himself guilty without any remorse.
He’s mom’s little boy, obviously he told her everything.
— I don’t show anything! You don’t even see me in college to know. — Cass rolled his eyes. Then she stopped for half a second and turned to her twin. — Jason.
— What? It’s ok, Cassandra. You can’t control what you feel.
— The brat understands more about feelings than the two of us together. In view of the fact that he is dating the brat of the f-
— I’M NOT DATING JON, YOUR JERK — Damian who turned red. He made a sound of displeasure and crossed his arms, turning his face.
— I didn’t even mention his name, but since you surrendered...
— It’s okay, Dames, you can’t control what you feel.
— I don’t- Jon is, you- argh, next time I’ll wait and ask Dick.
— He’s much worse.
Damian snorted, sullen. They all know that’s true.
— So I... I’ll ask Alfred! He’s a less nosy company.
She and Jason exchanged complicit glances and laughed.
Damian was the only one who grew up partially alone. Talia, his mother, lived practically isolated on a tourist island in the west with her father who was the mayor of the small town. A small place without many children. She was a loving mother, but that did not meet the need to live with others her age.
Only recently, after spending most of his life with his mother and occasionally visiting his father, he went to live permanently with them until he came of age or even whenever he wanted. It turns out that when he arrived, all his brothers were already teenagers and he was a child and they had barely lived together, although Bruce made an effort to go to the island to visit him often, Damian was very attached to his mother and it took him a while to agree to go with his father. He loved Bruce, but he and TtalSo he never formed any bond with another child of his age group.
Luckily, Clark, Bruce’s best friend, had a son of Damian’s age and soon they became friends.
Damian at first was shy and quiet, because English was not his first language and all the people around him were completely unknown.
It had been four years since he was with them in the mansion and everyone always tried to make him comfortable and part of the family. Jason was the one who introduced him to the idea of drawings and paintings and he was passionate about art.
In parts, she knew that the biggest reason Jason hadn’t left the mansion yet was Damian. Bruce was almost always absent because of the company and was always tired when he got home, even trying his best for his children.
And Alfred... increasingly debilitated with age, Cass liked the idea of helping him with the mansion. Everyone in the house divided to relieve the tasks that his grandfather had always done for pleasure and now he could not do as before.
With Gotham’s always hard traffic, they arrived at the central mall more than 40 minutes later. Jason filled the environment telling about his day and telling funny stories he lived with his friends. A very limited group to Rose Wilson, a very tall redhead and a guy whose nickname is Bizarre and Cass still doesn’t know his real name.
Jason always got along well with words and was good at using them, unlike his twin who could barely express what she felt. The brothers saw themselves laughing all the way and didn’t even care about the delay.
Inside the mall, they walked with Damian guiding to the store he would like to go to. Cass went a little further back, watching everyone around him. Her brothers acted so normal in public, but she still remembered the time she went out with Bruce when she was little and they were suffocated by reporters and stalkers.
She got closer to Jason, they side by side showing the difference in height between them. Cass barely reached one meter and seventy. Jason, on the other hand, with his 5,11 was a giant, in addition to his size as big as their father’s.
Jason was the only one who was reaching Bruce’s height. Dick and Tim pulled their mothers more. Cass suspected that Damian would be as big as Jason when he came of age.
She walked with her hands inside her pants pocket to disguise her nervousness.
She was looking at the stores when she felt an impact against her body and something wet on her belly.
— Oh my God! I’m really sorry, I didn’t mean to!
Cass, stunned, looked at herself to repair the wet and cold space by the drink. She looked up to face a pair of breasts. She stopped and forced herself to look up, finding a pair of wide blue eyes.
— ... I’m really sorry, I can buy you another blouse, oh my god what a disaster, I’m a disaster. You must be furious now and-
— It’s okay. — Cass tried to speak a little louder to cut Stephanie.
— Really? Look, I would feel better if I could do something to redeem myself. We can go to a store and-
Even if it would cost her savings counted, Stephanie offered.
— No! — her nervousness was infecting her, added to the tremor she always felt when she saw the blonde. — No need, really.
Stephanie stared at her from top to bottom.
— But I insist that. —Cass denied. — Okay, can I at least pay for the laundry?
She looked at her with those vibrant big eyes with long eyelashes. Cass wouldn’t know how to say no to those eyes. She could barely say anything, so she nodded.
That’s when a clearing was present. Cass turned his face, saw Jason and on his side, Damian, seeing all the commotion. She noticed that some people were also looking at them. She immediately turned red.
— We’re going ahead, when you’re done send me a message, Cassie. — Jason pushed Damian forward.
Cass could still hear Damian asking nothing discreetly.
— Is it her? The girl you were talking about that Cass has a crush? — luckily his voice decreased in the second part to the point of barely hearing. Cass mentally begged Stephanie not to have heard.
She covered her face with her hands.
— There’s a laundress near here. — Stephanie indicated, a half smile in the middle of the guilty expression.
Cass followed her.
Stephanie walked all the way thinking “my god she hates me, she hates me so much” and Cass was freaking out because Stephanie had finally talked to her.
In a completely disadvantageous situation for herself, but a win is a win, right?
— So... is that your boyfriend?
Cass made a huge face when she heard that.
— No. He is my brother. Twin brother.
“Great, Stephanie, now you’ve definitely ruined everything”
— Oh. I just... never mind, it was stupid. Sorry.
Cass looked at her, evaluating her face.
She nodded, aware that her face should look apathetic.
Cass noticed that Stephanie took a break from the bathroom. She followed, without asking.
Stephanie took off her purple jacket, with rhinestone drawings and lifted it to Cass. — Well, if you’re not going to let me buy you a new blouse, at least wear it while your shirt is washing.
Cass held the jacket, hesitant.
Then she entered a cabin to change her clothes.
Stephanie was so anxious that she nibbled on her always done nails. To her relief, Cass was back in a short time, wearing the jacket with the zipper to the beginning of the lap of her chest, showing hers thin and well-marked collarbone.
Stephanie felt bad for staring. But Cass was very beautiful. In fact, so much more beautiful now that she saw her up close.
Without many words, they went to the laundry that was next door. Stephanie paid and they put the piece.
They sat down to wait.
— In all this I didn’t even introduce myself. I’m Stephanie Brown, but you can call me Steph. It’s a pleasure to meet you, though. And again, I’m sorry.
Cass gave a small smile, in the midst of the nervousness she was trying to hide.
— Cass. Or Cassandra.
Stephanie nodded, looking better.
She opened her mouth to say something, but her cell phone started ringing. A pop song that was Cass’s favorite. She was surprised by that. She didn’t expect them to have anything in common.
— Hey- I had an unforeseen event, I’m sorry, I’m already arriving, I’m at the mall- Okay, wait for me, I’ll be there in a few minutes. - She put away the cell phone that didn’t seem to be such a current model. — Cassie, I’m sorry. I-I had arranged something with a friend and now I’m late.
She got up.
Cass just nodded to her. — All right, Steph.
Steph smiled big that made Cass’s heart fail. Even her smile was perfect. It was so unfair.
— See you, Cassie!
Something in that nickname left her disconnected, she only came back to herself when the machine beeped and Stephania had left. The only memory of her presence was the warmth she left wherever she went and her jacket on her body.
Oh. My. God.
The jacket! Stephanie- Steph’s jacket, was with her! Jason would never leave her alone. Damian would tell Dick and her life would be an endless terror.
She moaned in frustration.
ੈ✩‧₊˚༺「 ✦ HER WAY ✦ 」༻*ੈ✩‧₊
It was already the fifth time Cass tried to deliver Stephanie’s jacket and failed.
Look, she wasn’t a coward! She’s a Wayne and the Waynes are fearless and stubborn!
But look at Cass’s side.
Stephanie studied at another campus, that of medicine. And in case it wasn’t clear, Cass had a little problem with socialization. The health area building was the busiest in the entire university, and there were always students hanging around. It wasn’t like her course, that she barely saw people outside the classroom.
And Stephanie, despite being her first period, was someone popular. So she always had someone by her side. If it wasn’t for her best friend, Cassie Sandsmark, it would be classmates or friends from other classes.
She understood that Steph had something magnetic that attracted people close. But jeez!
Every time she saw Stephanie alone, it was time for her to try to get closer for someone else to have the blonde’s attention. And then she took steps back.
And it wasn’t always that she find the girl. The college was huge and she was always around. So there were so few opportunities. But she’s still trying.
She was behind a window, hidden, ready for another attempt, watching Stephanie laugh out loud about something with a platinum-haired girl.
— You should go talk to her.
Cassandra jumped and almost punched her twin’s face, who laughed when saw her reaction.
She hissed a low “idiot”.
— Shouldn’t you be in class?
— It ended earlier. — he shrugged. Although he seemed sloppy, he took his studies very seriously. — Don’t try to deviate from the subject, young lady. Stop being a coward and go talk to her!
Cass sighed and crossed hers arms.
— I don’t- She’s busy and I don’t want- JASON!
She raised her voice to what she was trying to establish herself in place while Jason pulled her towards the door.
— Jason! I’m serious, let me go! — he didn’t squeeze her, but he held her tight enough to force her on her way with him.
She hated that they were in public and she couldn’t just take him down.
She snorted, giving up fighting against, just letting go when they passed through the door and saw that there were people through the entrance. They still cared about their integrity.
Even so, Jason made a point of putting his arm around Cass’s shoulders to make sure she didn’t run away.
She felt her face catch fire while Jason didn’t even disguise he was going towards the blonde who seemed to have noticed them. The platinum who was talking to her also turned around, with her eyebrow raised.
Cass wanted to get into a hole. That was it, she would never go back to college. She would close the course and move to another country. Maybe Bruce would support her.
— Rose! I was looking for you. — he said with an exaggerated and loud tone.
Cass knew it was on purpose to embarrass her.
When she got home she would eat his favorite cereal and put all his underwear on the dirty clothes so that he would miss class tomorrow.
— Hey Jay. And this cutie hidden behind you? — Rose said. Cass wanted to evaporate. She came out from behind her brother, without dignity and courage.
— This is my twin sister, Cass.
- Hi. - she said low, looking at the floor.
Rose looked at him a little incredulous, due to the lack of similarity between them. Jason made a sign for her not to question now. Apparently no one knew that twins of opposite genders came from different placentas and were not necessarily similar.
— I need you to help me with a work, super important and I can’t leave it for later, please.
He took the platinum’s hand and took her, not giving her time to ask. Although they still hear one — Which work, Jason? We don’t even have-
And then the platinum’s voice was muffled.
Stephanie also looked at the duo walking away and finally looked at Cass.
— Hey! Cass. How long. I hope your shirt is fine.
— Oh, yeah, the shirt. It’s... fine.
They fell into a kind of uncomfortable silence.
Cass didn’t know what to say and Steph, always so talkative, suddenly felt shy.
Cass, to end her own torture, was the one who had to break the silence.
— Well, I wanted to talk about it. Not from my blouse, but, I would like to- — she opened her bag, taking Stephanie’s purple jacket out of it. She just sighed with her own disaster of phrases. — Here is it.
— Oh, thank you very much. — She smiled at Cass. For the third time. She kind of hugged the jacket and Cass felt bad, because she kind of knew it was the girl’s favorite jacket, since she was always with her. And Cass wanted to spend more time with her. She had been sleeping for weeks, smelling the blonde’s smell.
She knew she looked sick. But she couldn’t help it. It smelled so good that it made her sleep better than ever.
— You know, it wasn’t the best way to get to know each other. We could schedule a snack together one of these days, what do you think? — Cass was awkward. — But if you don’t want to, you don’t have to accept it out of politeness-
— No, I want it! I’d love to.
They looked at each other and Steph smiled once more. And this time, Cass reciprocated.
—That’s sound like a plan. — she took her cell phone out of her pocket. — Write down your number and I’ll send you a text message so we can schedule it properly. — and gave a wink.
And Cass decided that she should hate that girl, because the abyss that she would fall for her was inevitable.

A few weeks later.
Over gone are the days when breakfast looked more like a war zone. It was teenagers looking like zombies yelling at each other, Alfred trying to appease and Bruce reading his usual newspaper, trying to stay calm because it was in his DNA not to be a morning person and he took all the blame for it.
With two members less and Damian added, apart from his teenage drama and his unstable relationship with his father, the twins were quiet in the morning. Damian went down looking like he had just come out of a fairy tale book. Impeccable school uniform, his hair already combed back and his tie perfectly tied. Cass went down with her disheveled hair and her clothes all crumpled. Jason always went down with disheveled hair than Cass’s and a missing sock on his foot and shorts of a superheroine that he admired. They were the quietest during the coffee, Jason ate so much that it was interesting to observe how his appetite never seemed to end.
Bruce went down with his robe and only one eye open.
Alfred had fun with his children.
That morning, something was different. Cassandra went down last. And she had her hair combed. And with the college clothes. Alfred raised an eyebrow, but didn’t comment.
Unlike Jason, who as soon as he set his eyes on his sister, his whole face twisted.
— Okay, who are you and what did you did to my sister?
— Shut up. — but a smile persisted on her face despite the curse. Damian looked at her as if he was watching a stranger sit at his breakfast table.
Bruce took the newspaper out of his face just enough to uncover the eyes and his other sleepy eye opened.
— I had another daughter and I was didn’t know? Where’s my Cassandra? — Bruce commented.
— Clearly she switched places with her self of another dimension, dad. — Damian concluded.
Cass served herself with some of the fruits and food available and sat down at the table. — I just woke up and felt motivated.
Bruce seemed to accept. Damian stared at her a little more and decided that he doesn’t care enough. Jason, on the other hand, stared at her during the entire meal.
— I’ve known you since Bruce’s ball, you can tell me.
Cass made a face at Jason’s speech, certainly learned from Dick or with one of his friends. Bruce just let out something that sounded like a laugh, but he pretended not to be listening. Damian, on the other hand, twisted his face completely, disgusted.
— I just woke up on the right foot. Is it that hard to accept?
— Yes!?
— Damian always comes down tidy and no one says a thing!
— It’s because Damian is... Damian! Oh my God, I need to call Dick and Tim and tell them about it.
— Dick said he would come during the week, including. When he takes his day off. — Damian warned.
— Who’s care? Dick moved to the city next door, I’m already bored of his face. I want to know about Tim. Did you talk to him, Dami?
Damian chewed a piece of his natural vegan sandwich. — He said he was very busy. With the projects and the internship he started and all.
— Poor Timmy. He didn’t even answer me when I said I was going to kick his ass when he came back.
Cass laughed. But when Jason looked at her, she was typing on her cell phone.
— She’s talking to her girl friend, Dames.
Cass didn’t even seem to have heard while laughing once again.
— With whom?
Bruce stopped his coffee cup on the way to his mouth.
— Her girlfriend, Stephanie.
Bruce raised his eyebrow.
— Girlfriend, Cass?
Cass looked at him scared.
— Dad, I don’t- she- we don’t-
Bruce lowered the newspaper with a deaf thust and with the most disappointed face they’ve ever seen.
Cass’s heart tightened.
— And you didn’t tell me, daughter? Did I do something that made you lose confidence in your father?
Cass made a sorry face.
— I didn’t tell you why we’re not dating, Dad. These two who have nothing to do. — she glared at her two brothers, who had the decency to look sorry.
— But know that dad would support you and continue to love you despite anything.
— Oh, dad... — Cass got up and went to hug his father who was aging a man very needy of his children.
Everyone knew how much he missed his children all together. Mostly now when two noisiest came out of his wings.
Cass made a mental note to never leave Bruce alone for a long time or he would die of loneliness. She stared at her brothers, scolding them for leaving their father like that.
Jason got up to hug Bruce too and pulled Damian to join. Bruce squeezed them hard. And all that moment was enough for the man to feel melancholic and insist that he would take everyone to their schools that morning.
Everyone moaned in frustration of joking. And Alfred put his hand on his son’s shoulder when the three young people went up to get ready (Jason) and get their bags.
— You did well, son. You raised your kids very well.
Bruce smiled at Alfred. His face already marked with some strong traces of maturity.
— I try my best to be to them what you were to me, dad.
And pulled Alfred into a tight hug.
— Rest while I take the kids. I’ll bring your favorite tea later. — and left a kiss on his father’s wrinkle-filled forehead, who had small blue eyes, squeezed by the smile that illuminated his entire face.
Bruce also went up to get ready. He brushed his teeth. He wore an expensive suit as always. He combed his hair back. He went down to the living room and took one of his car keys and waited patiently for everyone to come down.
Damian was already waiting for him, sitting on the couch and playing some kind of game on his Nintendo.
Bruce sat next to him.
— Hey son, having fun?
— Yeah, you can say it.
They were silent. Bruce trying to find words and Damian pretending to be oblivious to his father’s fear.
— You know Damian, I’m very happy that you’re finally here with us. The family couldn’t be complete without you. So thank you for giving me this chance. I know it’s been a while, but I wanted to know if you still like being here.
Damian seemed awkward. Your game now forgotten on your lap.
— I like of being here. I like Alfred. And my brothers. And my animals here. And to be with you. Sometimes I miss my mother a lot. But here it is... — liberating. extraordinary. incredible. — my house as much as the island.
Bruce released the air that he didn’t even know he trapped.
— I’m comforted to know that. I just want you to know that you can always count on me. I will always have time for you and your brothers.
Damian nodded, with teary eyes. He hid by clinging to his father’s torso and squeezing the back of his blazer.
— Ahn... did I miss something? — Jason said as he continued down the stairs behind Cass, a few steps ahead.
Bruce smiled at his twins and stroked Damian’s back, knowing how angry he would be if he messed up his hair that he arranged religiously every day.
Bruce was happy to hear about his children’s lives along the way and particularly more fulfilled when he watched them discuss amicably.
Damian told him about how the school was going and commented on how Jon was begging them to study together.
Jason talked about his college and how he imagined himself teaching literature and how he might have a crush on his friend.
And left the gap for Cass to talk about Stephanie. There wasn’t much to say. She was a popular college girl who was cool and they went out a few times to have a snack together.
But they pressured her to talk more. And she told how they had the same favorite band, that they followed the same series and that Steph was a dancer as a child and joined the cheerleading team in high school.
Steph was a very good company. And she always seemed to try to increase Cass’s esteem. Always praising her directly and calling her cute.
Jason provoked her saying that they were on a date and Bruce laughed at how embarrassed his daughter was.
— If you like her, you should give her a chance, dear. She seems to be a great girl.
— She is. — Cass admitted.
And Jason pushed her by the shoulder as if to say: “I told you”.
They left Damian first because his school started much earlier than the twins’ classes.
Bruce decided it was time to finally tell the two of his college days. He talked about how he met their mother and Damian’s, despite only relating to Talia by chance years later, after he had already closed the medical course.
He said he was a real badboy in college and how he was in love with his best friend for a while. And especially, that he was very proud of his children not following in his footsteps and looking for a future that love the profession they practiced.
Jason asked his old man to stop with those sweets before the car turned into a pool, the two crybaby of the family already with watery eyes. Cass felt his heart warm.
She love her family.
ੈ✩‧₊˚༺「 ✦ HER WAY ✦ 」༻*ੈ✩‧₊
That morning, she walked confidently around her campus, wearing a yellow tank top that Steph had praised and black tactel cargo pants. She also wore the Gotham Knights black and yellow jacket.
He left his second class when his cell phone rang. The music of the call already making your heart beat.
— Hi.
— Hey Cass! I just finished my classes. A teacher was missing. And you?
— I’m leaving now too. It was my last class.
There was a moment when Cass could swear she heard Steph’s smile.
— What do you think about us going out today? Like, going to the square or to an ice cream shop. What you prefer.
— We can do both.
— You’re a genius. Yeah, we can do both. I’ll wait for you in the parking lot.
Cass put hers cell phone in her pocket with a huge smile on her face.
The word was not said, but implied for a good understanding.
A date.
Cass hurried hers steps, soon finding Steph with her simple black car and purple stickers glued.
Steph came running to her and hugged her. Cass was still shy because her face was very close to Stephanie’s breasts, but she reciprocated without hesitation, smelling the blonde’s smelly perfume.
She got into Stephanie’s car and her perfume seemed to invade her.
— So... square first or ice cream parlor? — Steph looked at her and all Cass wanted to answer was ‘yes, anything you want’.
— Ice cream. I’m starving.
Steph said something like wonderful and started the car.
Steph left Cass in charge of the radio and the two spent the way singing and laughing at their misfits.
When they finally got out of the car, Steph practically got off the driver’s side and rolled over the hood to open Cass’s door, they sat at a table with a nice view. They sat next to each other. Cass noticed how the city light reflected well on Steph, next to the window.
She wanted to eternalize the image of her laughing forever.
Their orders arrived and they tasted each other’s ice cream. Steph who offered first in hers own spoon and any doubt that remained in Cass, had been dissolved there.
Cass still asked for some more.
Steph looked at her in amazement.
— Do you do any diet? Because anything I eat makes me fat and I have to balance my diet.
Cass looked at her, realizing how much she idealized Steph in her head as a goddess, but she was as human as she was and that was perfect.
— Actually I never cared about that so I think it must be genetic.
- Wow, how jealous. - she said clearly in a joking tone, but something in Cass finally broke. And it was the ideal she created, because what do you mean Stephanie Brown, the personification of the female type was jealous of her?
Cass smiled with Steph when she smiled too.
Steph said fuck off and accompanied Cass on one more milkshake. Now they walked to the park that was one street away.
— You know, I always found you interesting for the university. — Steph began when they settled on the grass under a tree, near a small lake and a flower garden. Stephanie had lined the floor with a towel. They were far enough away so that no one bothers them.
— Really? — Cass raised an eyebrow.
— Ahem. I really liked your style and at first I thought about talking to you, but you looked away every time I looked at you, I thought you hadn’t like me.
This left Cass speechless.
— I thought you were very beautiful. I thought you would be snobby and not interested in talking to someone like me.
— Someone like you? Do you mean the beautiful, mysterious, stylish and cool girl?
Cass lowered her head, trying to hide her blush. It was humiliating how easily she turned red next to the blonde. In a way she never had been in the presence of any boy.
— You look so cute when you’re embarrassed. In fact, you’re naturally cute.
And that was enough for Cass to burn and cover her face with both hands, now free of the milkshake already finished.
— Hey, let me look at you for a while. — she gently touched Cass’ wrists and took them off his face. Cass looked at her, hers almond eyes wide. — Your eyes are so beautiful, Cass.
And she approached slowly, as if testing the perimeter. Giving enough time for Cassandra to retreat.
But she didn’t back down. Instead, she leaned forward and closed her eyes, slowly.
Steph released one of the wrists and put her hand on Cass’s face, leaving them close.
Their noses collided. Cass’s half-open lips met Stephanie’s fleshy ones, feeling the taste of the peach gloss she liked. The hand that held the wrist went up until it found Cass’s palm and theirs fingers intertwined.
Cass took her free hand to Stephanie’s neck and pulled the back of her neck to deepen the kiss, making their tongues meet unhurriedly, getting to know each other with delight. Cass sucked Steph’s lower lip, listening to her moan low.
Oh, how she wished that.
The kiss took a hurried rhythm and neither of them knew who had started. They just followed the rhythm and let go of their hands to grab each other’s bodies more.
Steph pulled Cass’s body to her lap and they were almost the same height. One hand on her waist under the tank top and the other on her belly and Cass’s ran through the blonde’s abdomen to which the right grabbed the blond strands of her scalp.
Steph broke the kiss, leaning her forehead on Cass’s shoulder and letting it be seaked by the bare shoulder for the jacket that was fallen in the middle of her arms.
Her smile could be felt on the other’s skin.
— You have no idea how much I wanted this. — Steph revealed. And it was a surprise for Cass. — I wanted you from the first day. I’ve always noticed you, Cass.
Cass smiled with a huge smile that Steph wanted to kiss. Cass’s smile was so beautiful and it was for her!
Oh! She would definitely explode.
Cass replied pulling her for another kiss, more needy than the other. Steph pulled Cass so that their bodies were closely.
And then they spent the whole afternoon there, kissing, talking and laughing. They took another break to eat and came back, this time lying side by side after Cass took another towel to increase the space.
They looked at the sky full of clouds. The orange sky. They said the shapes that each cloud had until Stephanie got tired and turned sideways, facing Cass who imitated her movement.
— It’s getting cold. I should take you home.
— No need, I can ask my brother or my father to pick me up.
— I insist. It’s our date. I brought you, I’ll take you.
Cass laughed and gave a light peteleco on Steph’s arm.
— You caught me in college.
— Yeah, but who counts?
They laughed. Casa stopped laughing to admire Stephanie’s laugh.
— My house is far away. Really, you don’t have to worry.
— No effort is little for you, Cass. — and took her right hand to Cass’s face whom closed her eyes, enjoying the affection.
Steph approached and left a seal on the corner of her mouth, before really resting her thick lips under Cass’s thin ones.
Their mouths opened slowly, moving according to the movement of the other. Sliding the lips under the lips. And then Cass’s tongue asked for passage and Stephanie gave in, intertwining her tongue with hers in a beautiful dance.
Cass pulled Steph’s waist and she took advantage of the impulse and rolled until she was on top of Cass. They looked at each other for half a second and smiled before returning to the osculus, with Steph’s knees around Cass’s thighs and she bent under the smaller body, her busts pressing each other while Cass wraps her arms around Steph’s shoulders and the blonde lightly scratches Cass’s belly who raises her legs, joining them lightly.
— Agh... Steph.. — Cass whispers between the cut breath.
— Yeah, sweetie?
— Take me home.
It didn’t take much more for the two to get up, gather the towels and go to the car. Not before they go to the park bathroom and throw the packages away.
Steph drove along the path indicated by Cass, trying to disguise the nervousness of seeing that it led to a deserted road.
— Cass... am I going the right way?
— Yes, it is. — she nodded. Steph bit her lips. — Hey, is everything okay?
— Okay, yes. I’m just... a little nervous.
— I told you it was far. For a little bit, there are still about 10 miles to get there.
Steph nodded, throwing the car to the side of the road, under a tree. Cass assured that he didn’t usually spend too many expensive ones there.
— How about we enjoy a little bit more? — Cass took off Steph’s belt and pulled her to himself.
Steph smiled slyly, reversing the positions when she saw that she was on Cass’s lap with her head on the roof of the car. Cass took off her jacket and leaned under the blonde, capturing her lips between her teeth before licking. That made Steph moan. Damn, she learned so fast, using the same movement she did in Cass during the afternoon.
Steph smoothed Cass’s thigh and stuck her hand in her waist a little higher this time, stopping over Cass’s top.
— Ca I? — Cass muttered a permission. — I promise to be kind, babe.
And she grabbed one of Cass’s breasts to which her left hand was getting closer and closer to her crotch, the light fabric of her pants making everything more pleasurable. Night had already fallen and in the darkness of the forest, no one would see them there.
Steph climbed Cass’s tank top next to the top, leaving her breasts in sight. — Your breasts are beautiful, Cass...
That’s just what she said before leaning over them and licking one. Cass’s back leaned on the dashboard of the car. Steph put the nipple between his lips and sucked it. Cass gasped so heavily that Steph felt three times wetter.
Now her hands held Cass’s back so she wouldn’t hurt herself against the panel. Steph began to intercalate the licks between her breasts to what she noticed Cass’s bust rising and falling accelerating. She wanted to know if Cass was as wet as she was. But based on the way her thighs spasmed, she would have to pay attention to her soon.
Cass pushed her back against the bench and finished taking off her top. Her left hand stuck through Steph’s shirt and smoothed it. Threatening to climb beyond the bra or below the cos of your pants. Cass preferred to be more daring, grabbing her panties and pulling lightly.
Steph looked at her and found only desire in her eyes. That’s why she got up with Cass on her lap to pull down hers pants, still keeping the black lace panties he was wearing. Cass almost drooling when she saw it.
She hesitated but determined fingers went to the middle of her legs, feeling how wet that part was. Cass ran her middle finger through the opening, still under the panties and Steph moaned, throwing her against the backrest. Cass read the gesture as approval and passed her finger once more, this time making her finger pass over Steph’s clitoris covered by the fabric.
Cass didn’t stop. She continued to go back and forth until Steph’s pussy was very wet and she dragged her panties to the side. Steph moaned when Cass touched her sensitive spot, rubbing. Steph held Cass’s waist and the other hand held his chest, caressing the bristly beak.
When Cass lowered her finger, exploring more of other people’s intimacy, Steph moaned loudly, almost closing her legs if it wasn’t for Cass sitting on top of them. Cass worked in that region watching how Stepg began to sweat and tremble. Cass increased the speed and didn’t stop even when she felt the climax hit the blonde.
It should be a sin for her to look so beautiful right after cumming. Steph pulled Cass for a kiss while the short-haired one was still inside her.
Steph’s moans made Cass herself more sensitive. Steph pushed Cass’s hand away with a wet noise and worked on taking off Cass’s wide pants. The panties came out together for Steph’s luck.
The blonde took off her own panties and her clothes mixed in the car carpet. They kissed again, Steph holding Cass’s hip and rubbing her pussy on the blonde’s thigh. The brunette’s knee hitting Steph’s intimacy. Cass moved away to moan, curling on her own.
She returned to Steph’s mouth, increasing the pace she rode, seeking her own pleasure.
— Cass.... How about we go to the back of the car?
Cass just nodded, opening her mouth to moan. — Just a second... — she said between gasps.
But it takes more than a second.
Steph put his hand under Cass, helping her needy clitoris. Cass moaned louder just with the contact. She continued to move her hips back and forth and Steph followed her rhythm, stimulating her clitoris.
When she saw Cass losing her strength, Steph took over and masturbated her, her index finger and ring finger together against the lips of her pussy and her intimate. Faster... faster... faster and Cass moaned loudly to what her pussy throbbed and her body trembled. Stephania didn’t stop, she continued at the same speed seeking to prolong the prazee. She felt Cass’s body spasm with every round trip she completed in her sensitive spot.
Cass collapsed on her shoulder while begging Stephanie not to stop.
The heat filled the car while they loved each other.
— Cass you’re so handsome, baby… — and kisses her more…

Later, when they finally arrived at the Wayne mansion, Cass held Stephanie’s hand as he guided her into the mansion, stopping at the door when he saw the six men at the entrance of the house, all turning to her as if they were waiting for her. She took a step back, feeling Stephanie get tense behind her.
— Stephanie! How nice to see you here! Cass talked a lot about you. — Jason took a step forward, trying to be friendly and encourage others to do the same.
Cass rolled his eyes at hers family’s drama. She ran her eyes through each one present. Alfred was impassive as always, Jason was in the middle, making it clear that he was the one who caused the commotion. Dick was with his hands in his pocket, trying to look casual but she knew it was a pose and that he was ready to intimidate Stephanie if necessary. She didn’t even need to mention her father. He seemed lost at first, as if the ground had just been torn from his feet. As if he had had the vision of the blonde making Cass leave the house and go live with the blonde on the other side of the planet. Damian was with his arms crossed next to Tim and... When had Tim arrived? He noticed Cass’s attention on himself and waved at her, with a smile.
Alfred and Dick kept their eyes closed, but seemed relieved. Luckily for her, Stephanie was someone who radiated sympathy even when she didn’t want to. And even Alfred seemed to approve.
Before Stephanie could open her mouth, Cass took steps entering the mansion, pulling Stephanie with him.
— No time for questioning, guys. — and without giving more details, he went upstairs under the eyes of the family men.
Stephanie seemed to burn so red. — It’s a pleasure to meet you too guys, thank you! - she said while there was time, still being pulled urgently by the eldest.
— Oh, she’s going to have dinner here. — Cass turned around when he had already arrived upstairs to warn and disappeared down the hall with the blonde.
Jason sighed, a small smile on his face as he turned to his brothers.
— I said she would find a way to avoid us.
Tim laughed softly. — the girl looked like she was going to run away.
Alfred cleared his throat. — We shouldn’t intimidate the young lady, Master Cassandra seems comfortable with her. — he says, but he had remained there like a statue when they arrived. He thought it was fun and everyone knew.
— Well, if Miss Brown makes her happy, we’ll support her, right? — Damian uncrossed his arms, staring at Timothy as if he were the sanest of the family, apart from Alfred.
— Yeah. — who answered was Dick, giving one of his mischievous smiles and put a hand on Bruce’s shoulder. — Righr, Bruce?
Everyone was laughing when they noticed their father’s expression. Jason was the one who pulled him into a hug. Hitting him on the back, he said: — Yeah, old man, there won’t be anything left for you.
Bruce snorted, Damian giggled, exchanging glances with Dick as if to say “he has no way” and Dick shook his head, agreeing as if he hadn’t been the one who influenced Jason to be like that.
— Master Jason, stop swinging your father’s emotional, he hasn’t even gotten over Dick’s exit yet.
Bruce groaned in frustration when Dick grabbed his neck and rubbed his head, holding him with one arm. — You sentimental old man.
Tim and Damian stayed where they were, smiling happily watching the scene.
Until the two older brothers pulled the younger ones and Bruce decided to counterattack and hit them with his sentimentality. It was Tim’s first return home since he moved and went out just to pick up an item he needed at home. In fact, he could acquire it in other ways, but it was an excuse to see his family before college turned into a mess.
Soon Alfred requested the presence of Jason and Damian in the kitchen to help him with dinner and reinforced the prohibition of others entering the kitchen until everything was ready.
Upstairs in the house, Steph finally released the air from her lungs when Cass closed the door to her room.
— Jeez. I thought they were going to surround me with a interrogation light down there.
Casa laughed softly, because it was likely that yes, they would do that. Without the part of exaggeration with the light, but yes.
— They are too dramatic. They do this to everyone someone brings home. I thought I could escape it because I thought they wouldn’t know.
Stephanie who laughed, still with a red face. Cass got close to her, held the blonde’s pink cheeks and kissed her mouth. They both blushed.
— How about you take a shower? I can lend you some things and there is soap and a new brush in the closet. Feel at home. — Cass smiled sweetly.
Stephanie reciprocated and let herself be guided.
When she heard the noise of the shower, Cass threw herself on her bed and sighed, in ecstasy.
She closed her eyes.
It wasn’t a dream.
And this only materialized when Stephanie came out of the bathroom full dressed and threw herself on top of her, getting bogged down on the older one and making them laugh.
She would have the courage and survive Cass’s family, because she was the woman of her life and she was worth it.
