Work Text:
Grading papers was always both ideal and yet so very boring. It wasn't like Izuku didn't enjoy grading these papers for his students! Contrary to what many thought, the young adult did enjoy teaching the minds of those that were still young. Still unaware of the ways that the world worked around them.
It filled him with a stronger sense of belonging, of knowing that he was molding the minds of those that were younger than him, in bringing a sense of love and peace to them.
He worked in the same classroom that he himself had learned valuable life lessons in. He had gained friends in this classroom too. Lost friends in this classroom. Became bigger than he had ever thought he would become - all from this classroom.
To think that it had all started because of All Might.. To think that there was a life that he could have had where he didn't talk to All Might, or even Bakugo. He could have remained that Quirkless loser that everyone thought him to be. Well.. he supposed that sometimes, childhood bullies were right, after all of this time.
But Izuku didn't need a Quirk to teach students. He was able to just exist and thrive, live his life in the way that he so chose. The way that he wanted to.
And what did he want to do with his life?
He wanted to share all of his knowledge with the heroes of tomorrow.
Izuku wanted to make sure that all of the young minds were protected and knew what they were getting in to. It wouldn't be fair to them to go out into the adult world one day, and not know what the hell they were getting into. Not like Izuku and his friends. He couldn't let anyone else go through something like that again.
So he studied and became a teacher. Learned everything that he could, and then applied that knowledge to those that deserved it. And who deserved it? Well.. wasn't that an easy answer?
Everyone.
Everyone deserved to have knowledge in the palms of their hands. Everyone deserved to know how to prevent house fires, how to prevent illnesses or how to do first aid - even going so far as to know how to do taxes! Of all things, taxes!
Sure the students didn't exactly enjoy the onslaught of lessons or the teachings of all their teachers, but that was the beauty of it. To find ways to make the students enjoy learning - to crave and desire more. To go out on their own to discover new ways to learn life lessons. As long as those lessons weren't detrimental to their growth, or put anyone in harms way.
And with the way Izuku meticulously wrote out his lesson plans the weeks before he introduced them to the students, there was no reason for him to ever worry that they would go out and use this in a way that could be harmful.
Though… if they did decide to do that? He supposed he couldn't really stop them, now could he? Sometimes the world needed those that were defined as villains, even if they themselves didn't see it that way. And though younger him would have balked at such a thought, the adult that sat here, grading papers of students that had long since gone home - the adult version of him understood that there were both good and evil inside of everyone.
Sometimes all it took to bring out one darker side, was to have an encounter that you couldn't forget, or a rough day at work. Villains have always come out of the wood works for the silliest of reasons, and it would never change. Izuku knew that now.
Just like how he knew that, while there would be a significantly decreased amount of villains in the world, there would still be that undying, black spark of rebellion. But that was something that he could deal with on a later date. With his friends - the ones that could still be called Pro Heroes.
One day, maybe he could go back to doing that type of work. Maybe he would be able to because of the new mechanics and workings of the support classes. The last that Izuku had heard, there was a possibility that even Quirkless people would be able to start helping out the other Heroes, so that it wasn't just on the celebrity ones to defend their homes. If they ever truly needed it.
"Oh! Here you are, Izuku!" The familiar voice of Ochaco came ringing out around him, startling the young adult enough that he almost dropped his papers.
When he looked up at the woman, there was a surprised expression on his face - only to watch as Ochaco giggled from the sight. Startling Izuku had always been easy. Especially when he was constantly working. But at least Ochaco knew where he was when it came to her boyfriend not coming home immediately in the middle of the night.
At least she knew if that was the case, that he was here in their old classroom. Grading papers to students who would hopefully succeed and thrive in the coming world.
"Ocha!" Izuku spoke up as he shuffled and sorted the papers together once more. Yeah, she had definitely startled him. "I didn't know you were here- did you send me a text? Oh god, did I forget to go to the grocery store or something?"
A giggle came out of the woman, as she stepped into the familiar, 1A classroom. God.. this brought back memories. Memories that she hadn't thought about in so long. Memories of Izuku and the rest of her classmates having fun together in this classroom, giggling and throwing paper balls at each other. Cheating and passing notes to each other.
Things that normal, young children often did when faced with the fun times that young teenagers, almost budding adults, often got to deal with. They hadn't known the dangers of the world back in the day. But they had learned rather quickly about the things that stalked Pro Heroes in the middle of the night, or even in the bustling streets of the day.
"Sorry about that! I just couldn't help it, you looked so engrossed in your grading, Izuku!" Ochaco said, continuing to giggle between her fingers as she stepped further into the classroom. "Are you almost done with your papers? I was thinking of making katsudon when you return home!"
What Ochaco didn't say is that Izuku had never returned home though. And that had been the main reason why she had come back here, after all of this time. Although it wasn't exactly rare for her to do something like this, the woman also wanted to give Izuku space to be able to do his work.
"Oh! Katsudon sounds amazing, actually! I didn't realize it, but I'm quite hungry, haha!" Izuku spoke, a small laugh bubbling out of his throat as he patted his stomach.
Now that his girlfriend was here that did bode the question: When was the last time he had ate? He couldn't quite recall, now that he was trying to think about it. He must have been pulling an all nighter with no food, or something to drink, now that he was aware of himself.
"Let me finish up this last sheet, and then I can bring the rest home to work on later! I was just about to finish up here so we can go home together if you wanted! Or- Or we can go grocery shopping to get the ingredients you need for katsudon!"
This was Izuku's way of trying to make amends for forgetting to come home in time for dinner, something that Ochaco was more than aware of. And how, how it made her smile, as she looked the man up and down.
From the way he was sitting at his desk, it would be a shame to really leave so soon before Izuku finished his grading… because as the woman was staring, Ochaco ever so gently bit her bottom lip. If they went home like this, there would be no time to grade papers. Not to the woman, at least.
So maybe they… take a little bit of a detour, and hold off on going home. Hell, they even hold off on getting some of that dinner! There was something else on her mind now, as Ochaco stepped closer to her boyfriend.
"Actually… there was something else that I was thinking we could do." Ochaco hummed softly as she reached out a hand, gently running the pads of her fingers along Izuku's clothed chest.
There was a blink of confusion in those green eyes now, as if he wasn't sure what Ochaco was implying. Did she want to go somewhere else? Or was she suddenly not hungry anymore? Oh man, if she wasn't hungry anymore, did that mean that he had upset her in some way? Fuck, fuck hopefully not.
"A-anything! You name it, Ochaco! We can go and get anything you want, or go out and do anything you want," so long as she didn't stay mad at him, that was for sure.
If there was one thing he had learned over the years, it was that his girlfriend could actually be very scary when she wanted to be. And it was for the better of his life if he didn't bring out that rage over something like forgetting to come home when she had prepared a dinner for the two of them.
"Anything, Izuku…?" Her words trailed off for a moment, as the woman's unoccupied hand began to pull the student papers together in one stack. Most of them were done being graded anyway, and it wasn't like Izuku wouldn't remember what papers still needed to be looked over, after all. "You should be careful with the way you word things like that, Izu! You might get a little more than you bargained for."
Izu… That wasn't a nickname that he often got from Ochaco. What was she planning? Was it something innocent? Something as simple as a kiss on the cheek? Or was she plotting something else?
Izuku's questions were almost immediately answered when Ochaco grasped his red tie, and pulled him close to her. Lips pressed together in an almost excited, giddy motion now, before the woman was coyly sliding herself onto the desk now that the papers had been set aside.
Normally one to say something when Ochaco took the initiative like this, Izuku found that he was entirely too preoccupied with the feeling of his girlfriend's lips against his. Too preoccupied with the thought and feeling of the woman sliding her lips against his in an embrace that they had felt before.
This was nothing new, nothing that hadn't happened before. But oh how it sent a fire through Izuku, as his hands reached out to wrap around Ochaco's waist. The grip she held on his tie remained firm, pulling him ever closer - up until the two were pressed together, chest to chest. Body to body with the desk holding Ochaco upwards.
Her legs wrapped around Izuku, as he was pulled up from the chair, his grip continuing it's hold on his girlfriends waist.
And soon, tongues were being pressed between them. The wet muscles danced together, as Izuku's hands drifted upwards, fondling and grasping any portion of Ochaco's body that he was able to reach. Her hips, her waist - her thighs.
"Mmm.." A low sigh of pleasure came from the woman now, as one of Midoriya's hands slipped underneath her blouse. Immediately, the heat from her partner's hand ignited even more of a need than she had first thought she would crave.
"Are you sure this is what you want to be doing, Ocha-?"
"Yes, of course. We can be a little adventurous, it's not like we'll get caught or anything, right?"
And that had been that on the matter, as Izuku unbuttoned the rest of her blouse, slipping it down and off of the woman. She was beautiful, she always had been. Even when they were kids, Midoriya had found himself transfixed with the brunette. To think that they were able to be together after so long..
Oh how it made his heart swell. He could have cried if he wasn't busy. He still might, truth be told.
Now that Uraraka's blouse was off, Izuku's hands placed themselves on her thighs, fingers reaching up to unbutton her pants. That didn't take near as long to get off, and soon, he was pulling her up and off of the desk, pressed fully against him.
They could get away with something sneaky like this, right? It was just in the middle of the night! There wouldn't be any evidence of their little rump, after all. Everything would be fine.
It was well into the morning of the next day, when Izuku next opened his eyes. For a moment, he didn't seem to correctly recall where he was. The unfamiliar colors of the underside of the desk was the reason that the man groaned softly. But in that same moment, as he was gathering his bearings once more, he found himself looking down at the slumbering woman next to him.
Right, from what he could tell, they were underneath his desk. Nothing that he hadn't done before with her, honestly.
Though this time from the looks of it, the two of them were naked, and Uraraka was still sleeping, cuddled up to Izuku's body. They were fully naked by this point, and Midoriya gingerly pulled her closer to his body, earning a low hum from the slumbering woman.
They could stay like this for a bit longer, there wasn't anything that needed to be looked into yet. Izuku leaned his head towards the edge of the desk now, glancing towards the clock that was usually behind him during class.
Close to nine in the morning… If that was the case, then that meant that students would be filling in before long. Crap. If they did, then they would start wondering where their teacher was. And it wouldn't be good if they came over to the desk and noticed that there were clothes strewn out around this area. They'd start to question things - and at least one of the students would be bold enough to look under the desk…
Crap. Crap, crap!
"Hey.. Ochaco..!" Izuku spoke softly, his grip gentle even as he was rocking her, trying to wake her. "We slept through the night. We need to make sure we can get out of here before the students come in! C'mon, let's get our clothes and get you dressed, okay?"
"Mmm.. I don't wanna move yet.. You're so warm, Izuku.." God, not the whine. She really didn't want to wake up right now, did she? That was so cute - No, he couldn't get distracted!
Where was his phone? It was in his pants but he couldn't remember if he had tossed it on the ground, or put it on the-
Aha!
He had thrown his pants onto the chair. Perfect. That wasn't far away from the two of them. As he pulled one of his arms from Ochaco, she turned in his lap, curling against his chest and breathing softly outward. Her warm breathe ghosted over his skin, igniting goosebumps as he leaned to the side, reaching for his pants. Just a couple more seconds…!
Just as he grabbed his pants, the door to the classroom came flying open.
With a quick yank, Izuku pulled the fabric close and out of the way. At the same time, the students began to file into the room. The laughter and ruckus that they brought seemed to finally awaken Ochaco, who opened her eyes and turned her head towards the door that she couldn't immediately see.
But after a moment of listening to the laughter and sounds of students going to sit in desks, she seemed to grow more aware of what was happening. What had come about because neither adult had decided to get dressed before the students rolled in.
"Izuku-!" A soft whisper as brown eyes looked upwards, pleading with him to get the two out of this situation.
"Shh, hold on, hold on-" The words were quickly returned as he was pulling his phone out of the pants pocket, now frantically typing as fast as he could. An excuse - he was typing an excuse for why he wasn't here at work yet. That one of the other teachers should come and gather his students, to take them outside for a few minutes.
It didn't take long for one of the other teachers to come into the room, apologizing for Midoriya's tardiness and to follow them outside until he was able to make it. Simple and right to the point. It got the students- albeit with groans and complaints -to leave the classroom so Izuku would have to make sure to send a thank you gift to his friend.
Once they were sure that the last student had walked out, Ochaco and Izuku scrambled out from under the desk.
"You could've woken me sooner, Izu!" Uraraka immediately said, giggling as she was pulling her underwear and pants back up.
"What? I tried! You whined at me and just snuggled up to me more - how could I try to wake you when you looked so cute like that?" The rebuttal came easily, earning both a giggle from the other person. At least they could laugh about this situation, really.
"Okay, next time I'll make sure we set an alarm so I can get out of here before the kids get here!" Ochaco nodded to herself as she said this, having finished dressing herself before walking over to Izuku, pressing the softest, most loving kiss to his cheek. "Now you're definitely coming home tonight!"
"Hehe.. okay, okay! I'll be home, I promise!"
