Chapter Text
Hookfang noticed something was off. He smelt the pain radiating from the house his rider had gone into. He knew he did not show his care in the way the night fury does, the cat he was. Though he did have a deep connection to his human, and his human was suffering. He heard the soft sound of punches. Hookfang growled lowly as his rider came out to take him back to the stables. He felt the urge to flame up, but he held back as he felt the small hand of Snotlout on his scales. He huffed smoke out of his nose at his rider before pushing him away.
Snotlout let out a groan as he fell to his ass, glaring up at his dumb dragon. His dragon that was now fully ablaze, lighting the night as if it was the middle of the day. “What the fuck!” He said, in a totally manly, deep, gruff voice that was not a screech. Though Hookfang seemed to have no attention to give to him. His attention was only on the house he had just left, and Snoutlout’s father was currently drinking in. Snotlout’s eyes widen as an ear piercing roar comes from his dragon, and he is suddenly moving back as far as he can away from the noise of death itself.
Hookfang threw himself towards the door, the wood quickly catching fire. Snotlout would try to stop him, but it would be futile due to the hard headed dragon, he’s as stubborn as a mule. Snotlout watched as his dragon forced his way into the house Spitelout was in.
Spitelout looked over to the door that used to be there. He had heard the roar, but didn't believe it was directed at him until his living room was suddenly full of light as if it were the middle of the day. He looked over as his son's stupid overgrown lizard started entering his home. He didn't think it was possible, due to the size, but he could hear the creaking of the wood. Spitelout stumbled back as Hookfangs wings spread the best they could in the place where it was not possible.
Hookfang glares at the small man before him. The man who had caused the pain he smelt on his rider. He growled as he opened his jaws, snapping them shut as he lunged at the shaking man. Hookfang puffs smoke out at Spitelout, watching as he coughed. He opened his jaws a final time before clamping his teeth down on his upper body. He could feel the warm blood gushing from his teeth punctures. He lifted his head before dropping Spitelout and extinguishing his flames. He backed out of the burning house leaving Spitelout to burn, if the blood loss didn't take him
