Work Text:
Weight pressed in on him from all sides. His vessel was sore all over. It reminded him of hell, even half-asleep he could tell he wasn't there. Still, it was pleasant. Abaddon must have fallen asleep after the spell to age his body. It would take some adjusting to learn how to wield his longer limbs, but they'd soon become his tools for harvesting the weak souls of the world. For Abaddon, High Prince of the Black Realm would-
"How are ya feeling?"
Ben had been standing in the corner of the room, a soft smile on his face. Abaddon realised then that he was in the arms of the younger sister, Esther. She was never the more physical of the two, but her grip was tight and possessive. He supposed he owed her after she performed that spell for him. He didn't shift out of her grasp the way he often did when she fell asleep.
"I feel adequate. Thank you for your concern. This new form hasn't yet adjusted to my strength, but know that in mere hours I'll be stronger than before."
"Just adequate? Not to be mean, but you were using a lot more... colourful language last night. Some foreign languages too. I think at some point you started reciting Latin."
"Ah. The ritual. Unfortunately, my memory is a little hazy for those events. It's good to see you survived my demonic wrath, Ben."
"W-wrath?" He stuttered out what could have been a laugh, but it made no sense for him to be laughing at such a matter. After a moment of being under Abaddon's glare, something seemed to dawn on him.
"Wait, you don't remember last night? Like at all?"
"We performed a ritual to age my vessel. I must have passed out from the strain."
"Yeah. Okay. Sounds good."
Ben blushed and awkwardly scratched the back of his head. From the new angle, Abaddon could see that his neck was covered in dark, vicious bruises. What sort of beast did he dominate in battle while Abaddon was unconscious? He was excited to hear his tale of glory, but the nervous look on his face seemed to imply he didn't want to talk about it.
"Well, I'll leave you to Esther. I'm kinda hungry. See you later," Ben hurriedly ran out of the room. Perhaps the beast was still afoot.
Soreness aside, he felt better than he had in a very long time. The joys of having a new form. He relaxed into the bed in a rare moment of peace. He'd earned it. Silently, he thrilled at the feeling of his heels hanging off the end of the bed. Now if only he had four other mouths. Alas, these were the sacrifices he had to make.
The topic of last night was concerning, however. His lack of memory was frustrating to Abaddon. Could he have been the beast that harmed Ben in such a matter? The memories weren't gone, just hazy. Like the distortion caused by rising heat. He could decipher some scattered images, a few sensations. None of which struck him as particularly battle-esque.
An unfortunate thought crossed his mind.
Yes, it had been a very long time since he was in hell. Abaddon understood the basics of his demonic nature but could rarely live it out. For all the realms, he hadn't gone into heat since the ozone layer was formed on this forsaken planet.
He couldn't have...
There's no way that...
Ben's tongue on his throat, tasting his skin. Esther holding his arms back, forcing the most humiliating noises from him. Struck with a supernatural fever that demanded ego be dissolved, the high-prince of the black realm rolled on his back and begged to be defiled.
Esther awoke. Her body was also covered in the same bruises as Ben. Up close, he could see that they were in the exact shape of his mouth. Small scabs had formed with sharp fangs would have punctured skin.
Frozen with a swirl of emotions he couldn't begin to understand, Abaddon lay there, motionless. Esther pulled him closer, sighing against his skin. He didn't feel any less sensitive, but he was able to hide his reaction better. Abaddon cursed the god that created demons to rule over and torture humans but added heats as a sick twist of the knife. It made no sense for his mind to desire submission when his purpose was domination.
"Good morning, Abby." Her tone was a smirk. Don't ask how, it just was.
"I despise that nickname."
"Oh really~"
Her fingers slotted into his side. Perfectly matching a variety of injuries. Images flashed in his head, sparked by her touch.
She pushed him to the ground, placing her full weight on his back. Her leg was firmly placed between his knees. There were needy gasps, someone begging for more, harder, and faster. It was him. Esther shushed him with a mocking tone. She wasn't afraid to draw a little blood from him.
"Yes, really."
Esther sighed, pulling away from him. He swallowed his disappointment. She sat up in bed, stretching until her back popped.
"Don't sulk, Abaddon."
"The Cobra King doesn't sulk," Abaddon grumbled, sulkily.
Trying to lighten the mood, Esther ruffled his hair. He swatted her off but she wasn't deterred. She reached for his hair again just to get blocked. They wrestled back and forth. A game they often played in the ancient dance of demon and witch. Abaddon, eager to reclaim his pride, over-extended himself. Esther had him firmly by the arm and used his own body against him. Allowing his motion to flip himself onto the bed. A move that Abaddon taught her.
Triumphant, Esther stuck her tongue out at him. Abaddon returned the gesture.
"Y'know I think you lose on purpose sometimes," Esther smiled, "You were all over it last night."
Abaddon flushed a dark red.
"It's a normal biological cycle! It happens to every demon! I can't be held accountable for what I say or do while under its influence."
"I don't know," Esther mused, "My texts on demonic behaviour don't say anything about becoming a needy little-"
"Cease your insults, witch! I am a respected demonic force!"
"You were definitely a force. Ben and I had to take turns until I could take you to bed."
"It's highly rude to discuss what occurs during a heat cycle, for your information."
Esther leaned in until their noses were touching.
"Oh? Even with the witch who practised new spells for you just so your vessel could be strong enough to handle one? The witch who stayed up all night while you whined if you were left alone for even a second?"
Abaddon got off the bed. He turned away, pretending to look for a shirt. Damned heats. It was impossible to hide his reactions to anything. While, yes, he always found Esther to be an engaging friend who he deeply valued, sometimes he pushed her for more... personal reasons. She was a valued confidant, mischievous enough to earn the name 'Shemon' multiple times over. Just a friend. Do human friends often sexually engage with each other?
He found an old shirt and threw it on. He would need to find new attire. Hopefully something a little better looking than what modern youths of the current age wore. Ben had mentioned some Georgian era clothes possibly around the theatre he volunteered at. That could be something to focus on.
Composing himself, Abaddon faced Esther again.
"I am... grateful for all that you've done for me."
She grinned holding out her hand in their signature signal.
"Whatever you need. Shemon."
"Demon"
"Always be schemin'."
"I'm still never going to let you live this down, by the way."
"Esther!"
"What? Consider it payment. Did you know that you can purr?"
"That's enough. I'm hanging out with Ben from now on."
"He had to do most of the work! I think Ben is the only human that can keep up with demon libido. I made a whole meal before he tapped out."
"I'm living in a hole from now on."
"Speaking of holes..."
"Flocci non facio."
