“Breaktime Rissa!” Bijou shouted from the back, tightening her apron.
“Oh ok! I’ll tell Shiori too!” she replied, walking back to the front counter.
“Welcome to Advent urous Cafe! How can the guild help you today?”
Tapping Shiori’s shoulder, “Break time.” she whispered.
“Oh ok, after this order then.” she replied, tapping away at the display.
“Here, I’ll help,” moving towards the coffee machine.
Like a well greased machine, the duo worked smoothly and efficiently*, finishing the order in a few minutes.
Coming out of the back, “We can take over now guys!” FuwaMoco said, still helping each other tie the aprons on.
“Alright, we’ll be taking our breaks!” Nerissa said excitedly, practically dragging Shiori to the back.
“Have a good break guys!” Bae shouted from the counter.
“So what should we do-” before she could finish, Shiori made her sit on the couch.
“Here.” Shiori crossed her legs and put her head on her lap.
“Wha- Why?”
“Don’t worry about it.”
Shiori began humming a slightly familiar lullaby, and Nerissa fell asleep within a few minutes.

You never know when to take breaks, do you? she thought, stroking her hair and watching her horn pulse with her breathing.
She continued humming and stroking her hair, while looking outside at the bustling city.
After a while, Shiori heard a faint shout with a hint of rat coming from the kitchen, “Hey guys! We’re gonna take a break soon!”
With no reply, Bae opened the door, “Hey gu- oh she’s sleeping. ”
Shiori put a finger on her mouth and nodded, and Bae slowly closed the door, leaving Nerissa still sleeping.
She lifted her leg up, bringing Nerissa’s face to hers and with a well placed kiss, Nerissa woke up shocked, “Mph!”
“Wakey wakey, sleepyhead. Our break’s over~”
“Wha- Huh?” still dazed from waking up.
“Oh, you want another one? So greedy.” she smiled smugly.
“Another wha- Oh…” feeling her face get hotter as she sat up.
Shiori leaned in and gave her another kiss, brightening Nerissa’s face even more.
“Alright, let’s get back to work~” she smiled, walking towards the door.
Nerissa followed her out of the room, her face still pink from bottomness.

Am I in heaven? Yorick thought, witnessing everything on Shiori’s shoulder.
“Maybe you are.” Shiori giggled, booping Yorick on the head.
*Post script note: Shiori in fact, did do most of the work.
Post Credits Scene:
“So what do you guys think about this new menu item, isn’t genius?” Bae exclaimed, proudly holding up her drawing.
“So you want the customers to gamble for what their food is going to be?” Fauna asked, confused.
“Yeah! It’s alot more chaos than the current menu item, you know?”
“You know, I think it’s good, you just have to add this ghost pepper spice into option into the mix.” Mumei chimed in, showing them the spice on her phone.
“Let’s bring it to Yagoo! This is gonna be a hit!”

Yagoo approved of the idea, after many requests from Bae and Mumei, along with having the customer sign a waiver if they chose to eat the ghost pepper spice mix (you were allowed to rerolll if you landed on it).
