“I hate you.”
Those were the last words Osamason heard from his first and only love. The trigger was pulled just as fast as the words slipped from his tongue. Heat spread through out his body but the bullet wound held no importance. The pain would never compare to the suffocation the words that spilt from the soft supple lips he used to kiss.
“N-nett.. please? Let me expla-“
There was no saving Amari. He was going to die. There was no use in reconciling with his forlorn lover. Nettspend prepared for this. He knew better than to walk into the room without fully disconnecting himself from what used to be. The love no longer existed. Love that was buried under pain, hate, isolation, and betrayal. Jaydes told him everything. There wasn’t an innocent bone in Amaris body.
The room sat in silence. Heartbeats were still. Amari looked at his one love for the last time, there was nothing behind those eyes. Not a single once of remorse.
Amari fell to the floor. Not a breath was taken. He was still.
“Please.”
Gunnar stared. There was nothing behind those saving either of them. It was officially over. The cheating, the lies, the secrecy. It was over.
He turned to the door before he could remember all the love they shared, before he could realize that he still loved him.
His hands were cold as he reached the door of the apartment.
