"Mick, c'mon man, you're missing the game!" The man shifted on the couch, tossing the baseball back and forth between his bandage wrapped hands. He looked over his shoulder. Sniper stepped out of the kitchen, a frilly apron tied around his wrist and his hat gone. He walked with his back hunched forward.
"Sorry dear, the pie took a bit longer than we expected." Sniper's voice was as soft as a sheep's fur. He smiled softly at his lover. "Does you guys want candy while you wait?" He stepped inside the living room, plopping down onto the armrest.
His partner turned to look at him, blue eyes sparkling like a tide pool. "It's alright," He smiled wide with his signature buck tooth poking out. "We wouldn't mind a snack while we wait. I'd have to ask Smoky what his favorite is, I think it's dark chocolate."
