Notes:

This is my first fanfic💔 don’t kill me. It’s like a generic fanfic, which pisses me off. But if you’re in need of some lighthearted stuff, this might be the fanfic for you.

Work Text:

It’s the big day! Eijirou Kirishima’s birthday! The entirety of Class 1-A was totally psyched for this upcoming event. No, not because they get free snacks, but because they get to be the ones to arrange the party!

Everyone (except for Eijirou, of course) were settled in the common room couches, thinking of ways to arrange the birthday party. Tenya, being the class representative, decided to split people in teams, each team having their own task. To make things fair, he would take names out of a bowl, of course.

Tenya cleared his throat, making everyone quiet down. “Ahem! Come on people, let’s get this thing going! For the first team, they will be assigned with decorating.” He said, gently picking two pieces of paper from the bowl, opening them and reading the names. “Uraraka and Jirou!”

The girls beamed, looking at eachother with excitement. The same thing continued on, Shoji and Mina does the snacks, Denki and Tsuyu are in charge of the music, Sato and Sero try to think of activities, so on and so on. After everyone was assigned with their own tasks, there were only two people left.

*Katsuki and Izuku.*

This could NOT have gone any worse. Everybody knows about their competitive relationship and about the way they treat each other. On the bright side, this could be a good opportunity for the two to bond.

“Bakugou and Midoriya! You get to do the most important thing of all! *The cake*!” Tenya said in an over-the-top tone. Izuku froze, and Katsuki went pale. A moment or two later, Katsuki started fuming, getting up from the comfortable position he was in.

“WHAT THE HELL?! I’M NOT BAKING A DAMN CAKE WITH THAT FUCKING NERD!!—” He exclaimed, though he sounded more like a child than anything, so it did nothing but just piss people off slightly, but he was quickly cut off by Izuku. ”KACCHAN!! It’s just baking a cake!” Izuku tried to reason, and apparently it worked, since Katsuki quickly quieted down, looking away. There was this weird thing between them that really confused everyone. No-one could put their finger on it, something just was… off.
