Evan Buckley was many things, but he never thought he would one day be someone's husband.
Buck and Eddie met during one of Eddies leaves in El Paso. Buck had been bartending at a local bar when Eddie and his friends came in for a drink to celebrate his leave. They hit it off straight away with Buck learning all about his son Christopher, his separation from Shannon (and her leaving), and his estranged relationship with his parents.
They exchanged numbers and spoke constantly either in person or over text. They knew it was rash but they decided to get married. Eddie was leaving on deployment in a month, and they knew they loved each other. Buck instantly fell in love with little Chris, clinging to the boy whenever he saw him.
